Easy to find, quiet location, nice drive to Yosemite national park. A lot of nearby stores, shops, and restaurants.

My partner and I stayed here while exploring Yosemite. It was a peaceful nest to return to, about a 30 min drive from the valley. The bed was comfortable, and we made good use of the DVD player in the evenings.

Very friendly. Quiet location that was peaceful. They accommodated with a crib and pack and play sleeper for my 1yr old. I would go again.

Very nice and cozy place to stay if traveling to Yosemite (30 minutes from the South Entrance) and only 6 miles away from Bass Lake. The bathroom was impeccably clean and so is the kitchen. We used the hot tub to relax privately in the evening. We didn’t need to cook since restaurants are nearby, but the kitchen is fully equipped including oil & salt. The beds & pillows are soft & comfy. Our family had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Raccoon Hideout. Btw, I broke the record for Galaga. 😊

Wonderful stay - 1hr drive from Yosemite and the perfect getaway. The unit was spacious, comfortable clean bed, air purifier, a mini kitchen area that had coffee, water and some small snacks for us. Hosts are very friendly and provided clear instructions for flexible arrival, grocery stores and recommendation for activities in the park. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for the stay!

This was our second time staying here. We absolutely love it here. We will obviously be coming again when we visit Yosemite in the summer. The Garden Suite is so homey, warm and inviting. My mom loved it, this was her first time visiting Yosemite and her first time here in this airbnb location. She loved it. She described it as living her "Virgin River dream." (Virgin River is a show on Netflix) Thanks again for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us.

Great location to stay if you want to explore Yosemite. It a quiet place but closer to downtown. The place is cozy and the host is responsive. Would definitely stay here again if got chance.

Probably best Airbnb I've been too. The pictures don't even do it justice, house is super cozy and beautifully decorated. Would recommend this to anyone who stays at Yosemite. We really enjoyed our evenings here, relaxing after hiking.

We loved our stay! From beginning to finish a stellar experience! Nick & Greg do an excellent job on connecting, communicating and making you feel at home! The Gingersnap is an absolute treat! My husband and I loved the outdoors hot tub! The bed is comfortable & the shower has the best water pressure =) 10/10 experience!!!

This was our first ever AirBnb booking and I’m so glad we did! The cabin was cute, peaceful, and cozy. Close enough to the lake and restaurants that we could walk. Very reasonable price for what we got, compared to pricing of the resorts and lodging ON the lake. If we ever come back to this area, we would book here again!

I very much recommend this spot for anyone visiting the Mariposa or Yosemite Valley area! The bed was comfortable, private movie theater setup was great, and the snacks/treats provided were an awesome bonus! The neighborhood felt very safe and this stay met all my needs.

We had an amazing time at this place — everything was just spot on. The hot tub was a huge highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day in the park. The bed was honestly the most comfortable any of us have ever slept in — like sleeping on a cloud! The kitchen was really well stocked with loads of cooking appliances, which made it super easy to cook our own meals. Check-in was completely smooth and hassle-free, and the location was great — nice and close to Yosemite, which made it easy to get in early and beat the crowds. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was amazing! Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Everything was as described, Lenny and Teresa were awesome hosts and everything was clean and accessible. We chose this Airbnb for our Yosemite trip and we will definitely book again when we come back. 100% recommended. We appreciated all the small stuff they had for us such as movies, board games, coffee, bbq, and snacks. Definitely worth our money. Thank you very much.

Laurie was a great host, she made everything easy throughout the stay, gave us great information, and was very friendly. The entire place was very quaint and peaceful, located within good proximity to where we were looking to go, and the room and house were very whimsical. We enjoyed our stay at Whimsy. The amenities that she offered were wonderful and very helpful for our busy days in the outdoors. Laurie was a wonderful host, very friendly and knowledgeable, and we are very grateful for her hospitality.

It was very clean and cozy. Although our stay was short it was very sweet and it went above and beyond our expectations.

Susan and her boyfriend were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. They helped with directions to Yosemite which was very very helpful. Made me feel right at home and very safe. Invited me to eat with friends, made me breakfast and packed me travel snacks. I left wishing I had more time there and as though I had made a new friend.

Terri was very helpful and responsive. The helps provided for seeing Yosemite in the book they provided were helpful too. Recommendation on restaurants was great too. This place was situated well with easy access to main road and we found a great back road from Bass Lake to come in from other direction directly. It was comfortable and the hot tub was great after "over doing" our hiking up steep elevations in Yosemite. Appreciate the availability! :)

My sister & I stayed mid May 2025 for a week. It's a studio attached to a main house. It was exactly what I was expecting. It actually had a bit more than I was expecting since it doesn't have a kitchen of any sort. This was my first time renting an AirBnB & Talia & Rolando were very patient & responsive with my stupid questions. We did get woken up early by the guests in the main house who had two toddlers. Babies will be babies & you can't control crying & yelling. They were nice people who apologized for the noise. The hammocks were the only outdoor equipment we used. There was a BBQ, pool, fire pit & various chairs around. The other guests used the BBQ which is when we met them. The pool is a repurposed trough which was really cute. Too cold to swim, but the furniture was being used by a momma cat & her kitten. They were cute. They had collars so probably belonged to a neighbor. It is a nice place for 2 people who don't mind sharing a big bed. 😁

We had a great two night stay for Yosemite firefall. Loved the hot tub. Appreciated the coffee, yogurt, and granola that was provided as a courtesy. Slept well. We would return if we were in the area!

Katharine and her husband gave us a very warm welcome, everything was very clean and well organized! She also gave us a great local wine as a welcome gift.
