Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lothian

We had a wonderful stay at Vicki's place - on the high street, so very convenient for food/cafes etc, but not noisy. The space was beautifully presented, absolutely spotless, and is the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at, right down to crockery and cutlery for our toddler. Everything you could possibly need was there, and it felt like home from the minute we walked in.

Really lovely large house in a beautiful setting, perfect for dog walks and with access to the coast. Huge garden with multiple lovely seating areas.

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

The photos aren’t great but the house was lovely. It’s got lots of space and great parking. Obviously it’s nothing fancy but I would definitely recommend

This is the second time we have stayed at Marie’s, the accommodation is wonderful and very clean, it’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have rented. Marie is a lovely host, very accommodating and great at responding when I had a couple of questions. The extra touches such as milk in the fridge on arrival along with snacks and drinks are really thoughtful and appreciated. The accommodation was ideal for 4 Adults and 1 child and I really hope we can stay here next time we visit Edinburgh.

Wir haben uns bei unserem Aufenthalt bei dem Ehepaar unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Sie sind wirklich die freundlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich nur wünschen kann! Das Zimmer war super sauber, schön eingerichtet und total gemütlich. Die ganze Unterkunft ist einfach toll – man merkt, wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt darin steckt. Besonders toll fanden wir ihre hilfreichen Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung und wie sehr sie sich bemüht haben, uns bei allem zu unterstützen. Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Louise & Jim sont des gens très sympa, très accueillant et disponible, ils offre un petit déjeuner et l’utilisation de la cuisine, café et thé à gogo 😉, la maison est très belle, chambre confortable et tranquille, seul petit bémol, j’ai trouver la chambre très chaud, mais au même temps je ne suis pas frileuse, je recommande vivement, merci à vous deux.

We had a lovely stay, making the most of the fantastic area despite the changeable weather! Thank you Victoria and Ewan for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay. It was immaculate and just as described. The bed and shower were top notch! It was lovely to arrive and find home-made bread, which was delicious, and it was helpful to have the other basic essentials provided. Everything we needed for our short stay.

Clean and cozy place, she left some eggs, milk and cookies that were really convenient. Comfortable bed!

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

A most excellent time! Richard saved me when I desperately needed a place to stay at the last minute. He responded instantly and was just so lovely. He was very responsive and flat was in a great spot with I must say a very comfy bed!!

another great stay at Tom's place, I love this flat, easy to walk into town, plenty shops and bars on doorstep. I was met by Cathy, such a lovely lady, flexible check in and out. flat is spotless, very comfy sofas and bed.

We had a wonderful stay in South Queensferry! The apartment was very comfortable and the view was amazing. We were traveling with our 9 month old and appreciated the high chair and travel cot that were provided for us. The fridge and kitchen were well stocked with breakfast options and snacks, which made us feel at home! It was easy to get into Edinburgh for day trips and the boat ride down to Inchcolm was really fun. Highly recommend staying here!!

A lovely, comfortable stay with beautiful surroundings. The property had everything we needed (and more). Location was stunning and we took a walk around the gorgeous estate, which was so peaceful. Wish we could've stayed longer!

기차와 버스, 그리고 도보로 영국여행을 하다가 만난 최고의 3박4일이었다. 정갈하고 군더더기 없는 완벽한 숙박시설, 맛있는 빵과 신선한 과일 우유 쥬스로 구성된 아침식사, 잔디 정원에서 새소리를 들으며 즐길 수 있던 저녁식사, 마치 가족처럼 정성스럽게 맛있는 요리까지 챙겨준 호스트 Jo와 그의 남편 스티븐, 기차역에 내릴 때부터 기차를 타러갈 때까지 차로 픽업해준 헌신적 서비스, 등등. 영어를 못하는 이국인에게도 자동번역기 등으로 필요한 정보를 빠짐없이 전달해춰 불편함이 전혀 없이 지낼 수 있었다. 특히 목표했던 에든버러 외에 숙소가 위치한 덤펌린을 광광할 수 있었던 것도 잊을 수 없다. 고풍스럽게 남아있는 수도원과 궁전, 카네기 박물관과 그가 기증한 도서관과 갤러리와 공원, 그리고 지방 소도시가 가지고 있는 묘한 매력에 흠뻑 빠질 수 있었다. 아침에 기차를 타고 서쪽의 포트월미엄 숙소에 누워서 후기를 쓰며 어제까지의 그 숙소를 추억하고 있다. 굿바이, Jo!

Secluded and comfortable converted stables in a farmhouse. The space was very comfortable and well furnished, with a cozy bed and plenty of room. Sheila had also kindly stocked the fridge with a few essentials for a breakfast after a night out. We were met on arrival and were able to park close by, which was handy. In the morning, we enjoyed a coffee while watching the lambs frolic in the field nearby.

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

Everything was according to the description, Sam provided many wonderful recommendations for the attractions in Edinburgh. We loved the magical Harry Potter atmosphere of the apartment. I will recommend this place for everyone! (Even for the Muggles)

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the hosts. They stayed up late to welcome us after we got a flat tire, and then woke up early and made fresh breakfast. They loved chatting with us and giving us recommendations, and even hung up our laundry when it was finished. They absolutely made our trip to Scotland perfect.

Me and my dad stayed at Georgina’s for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The location of the house couldn’t have been better with a beautifully kept garden, wood trails and plenty to explore in the area by car. The breakfast was wonderful as well and we would definitely come back for a stay if we’re ever in the area!
