Gorgeous place and lovely room. Only complaint was the show was in a fixed high position and had to use the shower head by hand. Needs a variable height fixing. Paint splatters all over floor of bathroom and bathroom wasn’t very modern but it’s still good. Room we got was a lot nicer than the one we thought we were getting from photos on listing but it looked like lots of different rooms were on the listing! Lovely view from the room and kettle and tea/coffee bits were really handy in the mornings. Good location right next to beach and good parking. Gutted we didn’t get to try the £10pp all you can eat breakfast. Bar area looked lovely but we didn’t use it. Everything seemed neat and the bed and bedding were very comfy and good linens. Great for a girlie weekend away and would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area. Free bottled water in room was also a nice addition for a room that was only £85 per night! Great place to stay, perfect for travelling or exploring the local area.

Anthony was very responsive and when we noticed the coffee machine was broken, he provided a replacement very quickly. The place was a little hard to find (not exactly as linked on the map), but Anthony was quick to respond and get us redirected very fast. The location was central to so many attractions and all walkable.

A great place by some great restaurants and a 5-10 minute walk to the shopping area. Just on the edge of the Irish neighborhood of Glasgow. The space was very nice and convenient to restaurants and grocery stores.

WE enjoyed our stay at Netherwood Lodge. It was exactly what we were looking for as a family. The home was clean and modern, beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed.

The Babbity Bowster and its employees were the highlight of my time in Glasgow. The food in the pub was outstanding, especially the steak pie. The location is great for walking to local attractions and shopping or getting to public transportation.

we stayed on the 1st weekend of opening and given that works were still being done on the swimming pool side. ie changing rooms. there was nothing that prevented our fun and use of the pool. start to finish staff couldn't do enough to help and we will definitely be coming back to stay!

Friendly and helpful

Great stay for two nights, Easy and smooth check-in, the room described clearly like the pictures,expect to share a wonderful living room and kitchen with other guests, breakfast was delicious. The house 20 minuets far from the city center, hosts are very friendly and help me to keep my luggage until my next check in, if you look for clean and quiet places this is the right place, overall it was a good time spending there. They let me to take many pictures for the house and share it in my insta@M4.f.

Wonderfully appointed renovated and remodelled old log cabin hotel. Everything is "as new" and tastefully decorated. Onsite bar with fantastic hosts and reasonable prices. What's not to like?

It was ideal for what I was looking for: well located to go by car, with parking, very good communication, easy check-in and clean and comfortable room

Couldn’t fault my visit here. The host was very helpful and gave plenty of recommendations of things to do. The room was clean with a very comfy bed. The hot tub was very relaxing on the evening. The staff were very polite and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was nice with a good selection of food. The views at the hotel are just fantastic, especially in the winter when you can see the snow on the mountains. Honestly couldn’t fault it and il be visiting again in the future. Thank you and recommend booking this place if you need a stress free get away.

A great place to stay when visiting the Glasgow area. We hadn't been to Hamilton before and the hosts are friendly and helpful, greeting us upon arrival with a wee tour of the hotel as well as recommending places to eat and shop. Hamilton is an interesting and quiet part of greater Glasgow and we had fun exploring nearby old ruins along the River Clyde and found it easy to commute by car into Glasgow to visit family. The hotel was cosy, clean and quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Thanks Rose!

Comfortable room, private and quiet. Superb dinner at the restaurant (have the chicken stuffed with haggis - highly recommend it!), and a very tasty, filling breakfast the next day. Big thanks to Billy, the volunteer, who looked after me very well during my stay
