Enter into a magical courtyard off the Royal Mile guarded by four blue and gold dragons and you step back in time to a mystical period. The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Centrally located flat main door flat in the New Town World Heritage Site, located in a 225 year old historical listed building. The flat is in the centre of Edinburgh with an EH1 postcode, and 5 minutes from John Lewis and the St James Quarter. It’s the perfect location for exploring the city, close to the Playhouse, bus station and train station. Very good tram links to airport from York Place. It’s about 15 minutes to walk to the Old Town, the busier and older side of the city centre.
