The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things".
