קטרינה היא אישה מקסימה, מארחת נפלאה, דואגת לכל מחסור, נעימה, מאד איכפתית וידידותית. הנכס היה מאד נקי, נוח, נעים ועונה לנו על הצרכים שלנו. כל שאלה אשר שאלנו , נענו בתשובה. קטרינה סיפקה לנו ארוחת בוקר, מצרכים, כל יום מחדש, למרות שילמנו רק על שהייה בחדר. המצעים היו נעימים, מגבות נקיות, חדר רחצה מצוחצח וחדר נקי. הנכס קרוב מאד מאד לתחנת אוטובוס, הנסיעה מהירה לעיר, הזמינות של האוטובוסים מאד טובה. מאד מאד ממליצה על השהות בביתה של קטרינה לכל מי שמעוניין לבוא ולבקר באדינברו. קטרינה אישה מקסימה מקסימה!!!!!!

Le logement proposé par Tom, est tres bien placé, propre et pratique. Nous avons été très bien reçues et conseillées par Tom, qui s'est également montré de bon conseil! Nous le recommandons!

Catherine’s home really was the highlight of the weekend. Herself and Lewis were the warmest, most welcoming hosts we could have wished for. The property was very easy to find, with plenty of parking spaces available directly outside. The property looked lovely and tidy from the outside. Catherine and Lewis made us feel right at home from the second we walked through the door. We were instantly shown to our room and the areas available to us. Every single room was absolutely spotless and presented beautifully. There genuinely was not a single complaint I could have made. Myself and my mum had travelled to Edinburgh for the marathon, and had not had the best time due to the organisation of the event, but knowing we had such a comfortable room in a lovely family home to go back to at the end of a long day made the day so much better. I really cannot fault Catherine’s property and would highly recommend it to anyone. I would happily return!

Lucy's place is a hidden gem in Edinburgh. The location is lovely with the green space of The Meadows directly opposite. It is also easy walking distance into the city centre. The room is spacious and comfortable and decorated with personality and charm. Crisp white linen on the comfortable bed and a decent shower. There is a kettle with tea and coffee available. And there are also a couple of excellent cafes within a minutes walking distance if you like a flat white fix first thing! I would definitely stay here again.

Anne nous a réservé un très bon accueil à notre arrivée (polie, le sourire et quelques mots de français). Sa petite maison est charmante, avec en prime des attentions pour ses locataires (pain frais, confiture, beurre, fromage...). J'étais un peu effrayé par la circulation pour sortir et entrer dans la propriété. Mais comme les écossais sont beaucoup plus courtois et patients au volant que les français : tout s'est bien passé 😅. Un dernier mot pour préciser que le logement était super propre. Great stay in Mark's lovely home, very close to kielder observatory. really friendly hosts and gorgeous border collie! easy to find with helpful instructions and gorgeous surroundings- would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful appartement. Erin & B were very kind and welcoming and made us feel at home. They gave a lot of good tips on what to do in the neighbourhood, and are friendly hosts who are very open to meeting new people! The room itself was comfy, and all the facilities needed are there. All in all a great place to stay!

The best place to stay, like at home. Vickie is a lovely and kindly person.Her home is a quiet place, with nature all over the house.The terrace along the river is incredible and the breakfast very generous.We had a lot of discussions with Vickie and with other travellers. It was a very very good expérience, we recommanded!

Caroles Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert. Man erreicht alles zu Fuß - sowohl die Innenstadt als auch Dean Village oder Stockbridge und den Water of Leith Walk. Das Haus selbst ist wunderbar eingerichtet, jedes Detail stimmt, alles ist blitzsauber. Caroles Frühstück in der schönen Küche macht jeden Morgen Freude. Der Blick in ihren Garten - toll! Tja, und Carole selbst ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Mensch…

We hebben enorm genoten van het verblijf bij Fiona. Het huis is indrukwekkend en prachtig, de kamer is groot met een kingsize bed. Schitterend uitzicht op de omgeving. De verzorging was uitstekend. Fiona bezorgde ons een uitgebreid ontbijt met veelal zelfgemaakte ingrediënten: heerlijk vers gebakken brood en huisgemaakte jams, zelfgemaakte granola met heerlijke yoghurt. Haar gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid maken haar de perfecte gastvrouw voor ons!

I spent one night at Sue’s place while walking the Fife Coastal Path, and I would have loved to have stayed longer. Sue was very helpful and welcoming and made me feel right at home. I appreciated her recommendation for dining at the Inn at Kingsbarns, which was very enjoyable. The room was bright, spacious and clean and the bathroom spotless. Sue has a lovely garden and it was very pleasant sitting outside. Breakfast was very good too. Sue’s home is an excellent place to stay in a beautiful area and pretty village.

We really enjoyed this castle experience and David was very helpful and offered personalised suggestions that we really appreciated. We took his advice and it turns out they were excellent suggestions!! We didn’t have any issues but felt confident if we needed something that we would have experience very responsive communication.

I stayed for a couple of days and felt really welcome! It’s a nice place near the seaside—perfect for some quieter moments when you’re visiting Edinburgh. I had breakfast every morning and some really interesting conversations about life, which made my trip to Scotland even more special. There are great places to eat and pubs within a short walk

Glenternie house is a beautiful home rich in history. The interior decorations have been kept true to the period the house was built. Although it does not qualify as a manor house, due to comparatively smaller land area, it has the look and feel of a manor house, with all the tradition that comes with it. The house was easy to find using online map applications. Plenty of parking. The location is out in the country of the Scottish Borders and is one of the quietest, most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. Plenty of room to get out and stretch your legs, and a beautiful garden to wander around in. We agreed to the in house dinner offered by Lucy. The food was amazing, far better than we had in most restaurants. Lucy was very attentive and answered the myriad of questions we had as newcomers to the UK, and Scottish Borders. The bed was very large and comfortable, with an ensuite tub and bathroom and beautiful decor. Definitely would stay again.

Thank you Sarah for my stay was so great to meet you. I had exactly what I needed a relaxing break away! I stayed two nights and did activity locally so this was perfect, day two I relaxed and had best bath and most amazing sleep in this huge bed. Not to mention how brilliant breakfast was… whole table set up just for me wow 5 star service :)

Eleanor is one of the most beautiful and thoughtful person I ever met in my life. Her kind gesture is so admirable. I truly felt like home and really wanted to stay some more days. Even though this was not the correct time for that I will definitely come back to this beautiful place again.

Very comfortable. Great location next to the station. Frank & Maria went out of their way to make sure I had everything needed and gave lots of recommendations for things to do, walks to try and places to eat. Even though it is a room only basis, they provide a fridge and microwave, crockery tea&coffee, biscuits, milk, juice, fruit, yoghurts etc so you can easily sort a continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Pitlochry itself is a lovely little market town with lots to see, and great links into Scotland. 5*

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Dominic and Elaine, for an unforgettable experience!

Patty is a great host - friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable about the local area. The room is perfectly situated for time in and around Bamburgh. Our short stay was so relaxing. Northumberland is a beautiful part of the country. Hopefully we will return again soon.

We had a amazing stay with Annabel and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. She was really nice and friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend her place!

The room in Jessica’s house was the perfect accommodation for a solo traveler, enough space to be comfortable and spread out a little, with a very comfortable and warm bed, right next to the bathroom, with soundproofing good enough that you will barely notice other people using it. Jessica herself was an amazing host who did her utmost to make me welcome, even offering the occasional food and beverages; never intrusive, always helpful, with some great recommendations for things to do in the city and beyond. Jessica was also just a great and colourful conversationist with many an interesting story to tell. Don’t hesitate to book a stay with her.

Robert was very flexible and great to work with. It was a quick stop over for us so we didn’t get a chance to explore the area, but he was available and helpful to answer any questions we had.

We had a the lovely few days at Carol's house; the bedroom and bathroom were lovely and very comfortable and beautifully clean. Carol cooked us a delicious breakfast each day, and was very accommodating with providing an early breakfast for my husband when he had to leave early the first morning and then cooking me breakfast later. The area is beautiful, and we would love to return to see more of it. Finally, Carol & her husband were very friendly and made us feel very at home. We would highly recommend!
