Barons Granary, The Bull Pen, Iden nr Rye

NicholaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

The Granary - Luxury conversion in beautiful Kent

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just returned from spending 6 days in the Granary, Caroline was super responsive and her directions were easy to follow and accurate. Unfortunately i didn't get to meet Caroline as she was away. The Granary was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The downstairs shower was great, we didn't try the upstairs shower. The location was very quiet and peaceful, but easy to get to where i wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend the Granary.

A perfect location to explore Kent with the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed a spotless cottage with silky-soft towels and bed linen. The children loved the view of the garden, complete with squirrels and rabbits. Nicky and Matt were perfect hosts.

Converted 2 bedroom barn nestled in the quiet countryside

MuhammadRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Gabrielle's converted barn a few weeks ago and in a word... amazing. The venue was immaculate and perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the cottage and utilised the field one of the evenings. Gabrielle's husband (never got his name!) was helpful and gave directions to some places in the locality as well as being very happy to show us the field connecting to the garden. A small mention of their kids who were fantastically mannered! If there was one complaint... it would be that this venue is undersold! The green space and reservoirs are beautiful. It's truly a gem and we will be hoping to stay again soon!!!

The Dragons Nest

ElinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Overall had a fantastic stay. Place felt very cosy. Lovely little kitchen with all basic kitchen equipment. Sleep was very comfortable in the main bedroom but not as much if you want to use sofa bed in living space. Also two low rise seatings in living room didn’t felt comfortable and looked quite tired. Egg chair was a nice edition, fantastic to chill out. There is plenty to explore and experience in surrounding areas, so location is definitely great. Host is very friendly and responsive, all instructions are helpful and clear. Thank you for hosting us.😊

Waders

DanielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Liz and Barry’s air B and B for two nights as we wanted to get away from our usual hustle and bustle! The place is amazing and the view out to sea is unbelievable. The photos don’t do it justice! The place is all on one level and my toddler loved playing on the enclosed balcony. It was a very safe place to stay and we very quickly felt at home. We would love to return ! Many thanks , The Alio’s xx

The Sauna House

SamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a truly peaceful and private stay at The Sauna Room. Arun and his team were excellent—responsive and helpful throughout, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is well-equipped, with a comfy bed, full kitchen, working amenities, and a fantastic hot tub and sauna. Just to clarify, the hot tub jets are on a timer—not a fault as some reviews suggest. While the place is lovely, a few small touch-ups (like minor maintenance or paint refreshes) would make it even better. Despite being near a larger Airbnb and a dual carriageway, the space felt completely private, including the outdoor pergola. Overall, a very relaxing experience—we’re already planning our next stay!
