In a sought-after spot on Deal’s picturesque seafront, this spacious apartment maintains its 1894 period features, including original fireplaces, the tiniest letter box, and cornicing worthy of a wedding cake. There is free parking directly outside and a sun trap courtyard garden perfect for lazy BBQ's. All on one level, with no stairs, the apartment is ideal for families with young children or people with limited mobility. Whilst literally a stone's throw from the beach and within the sound of the rolling waves, this is a ground-floor property and does not have direct sea views. This spacious three bed apartment has been sensitively renovated, whilst maintaining its period features of 1894, including original fireplaces in every room, the tiniest letter box and cornicing worthy of a wedding cake! All on one level, with no stairs, the apartment is ideal for families with young children or people with limited mobility. There are 6 steps down to access the front door, these are well lit and have a very good hand rail. Private use of the entire apartment. There are three large bedrooms, two with en suites, as well as a separate bathroom, sunny courtyard garden at the back which is perfect for lazy BBQs, patio area to front. Parking is free directly outside (a rarity in Deal). There is an undercover storage area ideal for golf clubs, bikes, pushchairs, wellington boots, buckets and spades, and of course your pebble collections... We love Deal and want out guests to as well. We leave out masses of information about things to do, places to eat, local walks etc. and are always very happy to help with any other questions you might have. As we are nearby we are also on hand should there be any problems during your stay. Nous parlons français raisonnables! The apartment is just a short stroll along the promenade to some British seaside favourites. There’s a vintage ice cream parlour, amusements, award-winning pier, plus a vibrant high street full of independent shops and fantastic restaurants. By Train: The apartment is only a 10 minute walk from Deal station, with its high speed train links direct into London Kings Cross St Pancras taking only 1hr and 15 mins. Trains also run to and from Charing Cross. There is a taxi service in the station car park if you don't fancy the short walk. By Car: Approx 1hrs drive from the M25, junction 2 (via A2) or junction 3 (via M20). Deal is only a short drive from the Port of Dover, its Cruise Terminal, and nearby Eurotunnel Services. Its easily accessible from the Continent and perfectly located for a day trip to France. Just remember to pack your passport! The apartment is very child friendly and we provide the following childrens kit should you need it: High chair, Travel cot, Booster seat, Changing mat, Baby bather, Bumbo seat, Sterilizer, Bottle warmer, Bouncy Chair, Plug socket covers, Door guards, Plastic plates, cups and cutlery, Hand held blender, masses of toys and games. All our beds are hotel quality with 1000 pocket sprung mattresses, Egyptian Cotton bed linen, and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. Towels also provided. We also have an additional fold out single bed should you want to sleep an extra person.

Watch the latest catch come in at the working harbour, then wander back via one of Whitstable's many good quality local restaurants, then home to this comfy and cosy period cottage tucked behind vibrant Harbour Street. Original fireplaces and soft, whitewashed floorboards retain the traditional character. Boat House cottage is decorated to a high standard and is bright and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to prepare meals. However if you wish to give yourself a break from cooking you will be perfectly located in a quiet street, tucked behind the bustling Harbour Street the centre of Whitstable’s cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course the beach is only a hop, skip and a jump from there. Boat House is in the heart of the conservation area and the street leads on to the famous Harbour Street which is full of great boutiques and cafes and only moments from Whitstable Beach. The south facing garden is a real sun-trap and a very nice place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. I provide great quality bedding to make sure you get the most comfort on your holiday with a selection of feather and anti allergy pillows depending on your preference. The beds are John Lewis pocket sprung mattresses with quilted underlays to give maximum comfort and duvets from the white company with either linen or 400 thread count Egyptian cotton duvet covers. Boat House is suitable for adults and children so we can accommodate all combinations of parties and travel cots and booster seats are available on request. Whitstable is a quirky town famous for farming the Whitstable Native Oyster. Bracing strolls along the beach or a refreshing swim in the sea, help to work up an appetite before a pot of cockles and a pint in the pub, a great meal in one of the town's many restaurants or browsing the boutiques on nearby Harbour Street. There are so many easy ways to unwind and relax here in Whitstable. The train station is a 10 minute walk and very pleasant if you come through Stream Walk which is a pedestrian cut through on the way from the station. The Cathedral city of Canterbury is nearby and makes a fascinating historic alternative to chilling out on the beach if you want to absorb some culture while you are here for good measure! Either take the bus or a taxi if you have not brought your own car. Margate which is undergoing a revival is 20 minutes on the train. There you can enjoy the Turner Contemporary art gallery and lots of vintage shopping in the Old Town and the amusement park Dreamland which has recently reopened having been restored. Other towns along the coast worth exploring are Broadstairs and Ramsgate for their different styles of beach walks. Whitstable is only 90 minutes on road or rail from London.

The space has recently been totally renovated to a very high standard providing all modern amenities. Settled in the Green Belt, adjacent to National Trust land, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and of Special Scientific Interest. Historic Chartwell, Hever Castle and Penshurst Place close by. Wonderful walking and cycling from the property.

Beautiful sparkling clean accommodation. Own entrance, spacious double bedroom, luxury shower room and kitchenette, all self-contained and separate from hosts side of the house. Peaceful location in the town of Orpington with private parking. 10 minute walk from Orpington Station with excellent rail links to Central London, only 15 minutes (fast train) to London Bridge. We are a pet free home. We love our home and ask guests to treat it with respect.
