Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hollands Kroon

Marius er en fantastisk vært. Huset er der kræset for, så vi kan fuldstændig slappe af i de smukke omgivelser. Huset ligger stille og roligt sted, men alligevel i tæt gåafstand en byens behageligheder. Vi har været her for anden med vores børnebørn, der nu er teenagere. De foreslår, det bliver en tradition, at vi tager på tur til Medemblik. Der stod en flaske champagne til os som velkomst. Den største velkomst var dog, at der var så rent og hyggeligt. Man føler sig virkelig taget imod og velkommen.

Die Wohnung war sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche haben uns ein paar Dinge an Geschirr gefehlt. Auch wird es relativ schnell warm dort, da es ein Anbau ist. Zuerst hat uns irritiert, dass die Tür zur Wohnung nicht abschließbar ist und im Flur eine Treppe zum Vermieter hochgeht. Aber wir hatten unsere Privatsphäre und keiner kam die Treppe heruntergelaufen. Kommunikation sehr freundlich und schnell.

Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

We hebben 6 dagen van de meivakantie genoten in het huis van Micaela. Alles zoals beschreven, super netjes en schoon, met ruimte om onze eigen spullen op te ruimen. Veel activiteiten op korte afstand, en met het prachtig weer hebben we veel kunnen fietsen in de regio. Micaela heeft ons bij aankomst heel vriendelijk ontvangen en alles uitgelegd, en altijd heel snel gecommuniceerd in het heel proces. Zeker een aanrader!

Wir waren über Pfingsten im „De B“ - wir haben die Unterkunft durch Zufall auf AirBnB entdeckt und direkt gebucht. Die Kommunikation mit Liesbeth und der Check-In verliefen einfach und das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen (noch schöner als wir es uns vorgestellt haben). Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich und alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Liesbeth hat uns sogar extra einen Toaster organisiert, da eigentlich keiner vor Ort war! Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und wir konnten sehr gut abschalten. Also eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine schöne und ruhige Unterkunft in der Gegend suchen!! ☺️

Inke is super friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home. The apartment is lovely, modern but cozy, full of beautiful details. Everything was 100% clean and we lacked nothing. The location directly in front of a small river is amazing and provides great Dutch atmosphere. On the other site of the property there’s a harbor with free parking spaces directly in front of the door. Supermarkets are 5-10min walking away and the shopping street is also 5min. Medemblik is a beautiful and very Dutch city offering lots of nature, plants, water and cats everywhere. You can also see a lot of cats walking around from the dining room and Inke‘s cat often came by to visit us as well. Medemblik also has a windmill, a castle and a traditional steam train, as well as of course the IJsselmeer. All in all really lovely, 10 out of 10 😊

Absolute aanrader, echt een mega mooie locatie en ook een heel mooi, modern en nieuw huisje. Echt heel erg gezellig binnen en ook buiten een hele leuke plek om te zitten. Echt genoten van 2 mooie nachtjes in de rust! Heel fijn contact met de host en snelle reactie. Voelden ons thuis!!

Eine geräumige, etwas ältere Wohnung, die aber nichts vermissen lässt und sehr sauber war. Obwohl sie mitten in der Stadt liegt, war es sehr ruhig. Geschäfte, Restaurants und der Fährhafen nach Texel gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch kostenlose Parkplätze fürs Auto waren in der Nähe immer leicht zu finden.

Maaike and Jeroen were lovely hosts, making us feel welcome in their historic monument home. With 40 chickens, two rabbits, one cat, and one dog, we felt like we were one with nature. We had a safe place in the barn for our bicycles, and there was everything we could ask for to cook nice meals. Fresh flowers on the table and treats in the cupboards, we felt really spoiled. The bed was the biggest we‘ve seen in a long time, and it was extremely comfortable. There were giant tulip fields to the left and right of the house. The sunsets were glorious and make for taking endless photographs.

Eine Unterkunft die für einen ruhigen Aufenthalt perfekt ist. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr toll sind die Fahrräder mit denen man prima Medemblik in 15 Minuten erreicht. Sehr nette kommunikative Vermieter. Vielen Dank für das Begrüßungsgeschenk.

Die Vermieter sind megalieb (die Vermieter sind nicht Tess - BELVILLA). Wir waren eine Woche dort und kannten bislang diese Gegend nicht. Alles war unkompliziert und entspannt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Empfehlung 100%

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Total gemütlich, sauber, hell und freundlich. Super Kommunikation mit Elles, super zu erreichen und trotzdem 100% Privatsphäre. Tolle Lage um Tulpenfelder im Mai anzusehen oder zu einem der grandiosen Strände zu fahren. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk begroet door Danielle. Ze liet ons trots de accommodatie zien. We konden zien dat er met veel liefde en toewijding aan de sfeer van het huisje was gewerkt. We hebben heerlijk geslapen, met inderdaad een prachtig vrij uitzicht op de weilanden. Keukeninrichting was voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Kortom niks te kort gekomen.. Texel is een leuk en veelzijdig waddeneiland. Je bent binnen de kortste keren waar je moet zijn. Met de auto én met de fiets. Overtocht met veerboot verliep zonder problemen ( je bent er zo....) Parkeren met een Texelvignet is zéker aan te bevelen. Wij komen graag terug. Groetjes Arno en Ingrid.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

Wir fanden es wirklich toll bei Dick und Thildy. Die beiden sind sehr freundlich, offen und geben tolle Tipps für die Umgebung. Das Apartment war wunderschön eingerichtet, man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt - umgeben von Blumenfeldern und einer ländlichen Idylle mit 2 süßen Katzen, Enten & Hühnern. Trotz des Baus der neuen Unterkünfte haben wir uns nicht gestört gefühlt - ich bin gespannt, wie diese dann fertig aussehen!! 🙏🏻 Auf jeden Fall ein toller Ort, um Noord Holland zu erkunden und die bunten Blumenfelder zu erleben!

Linda‘s place is a really nice apartment. In the inner circle of Alkmaar‘s old town but quiet though. Situated at a lovely Chanel where people sit outside and where there is a very special atmosphere in the evening when the sun goes down. The apartment is as described and we liked it a lot. There is a lift to the third floor which is of great help for people that struggle with stairs. Communication was easy and proactive. I can highly recommend this place.

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern eine Woche in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung entspricht exakt den Fotos und Beschreibungen. Alles war sauber und sauber ausgestattet. Man kann das Meer vom Balkon aus sehen und hören. Die Schlafzimmer konnten super abgedunkelt werden. Henk war jederzeit erreichbar und freundlich. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem großen Wohngebäude. Dennoch war es total ruhig und erholsam! Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand, in der Stadt mit Supermarkt, keinen Geschäften und Restaurants. Auch ein Fahrradverleih befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Uns hat es ausnahmslos gefallen und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great stay, beautiful location easy walk from Alkmaar station, has everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Very close to restaurants and shops.
