We had a wonderful holiday at Peter & Inge's. They are fantastic hosts, starting with the warm welcome where we immediately felt welcome and "at home" to the friendly communication on various issues. The apartment is perfect for a family vacation and we lacked nothing. The location of the apartment invites you to take a walk in the dunes as well as to the nearby beach. Day trips to Volendam, Alkmaar or Medemblik are also available and are highly recommended. We enjoyed the time in this gem very much and thank Peter & Inge for the warm hospitality. We would be delighted if you would welcome us again as guests.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. Everything was perfect. The apartment is very spacious and extremely well equipped (including mixer, blender, Senseo, capsule - and filter coffee machines, lots of cutlery, dishes and glasses, washing machine and dryer, many multimedia options, board games), which we only partially used.

Comfortable place, clean and met our expectations. Johan & Gerda made sure the check in and out is seamless and easy, at a time that suits your travel needs. Good and friendly communication 😊

We had a very nice stay at Ivar's apartment ☺️ You have to be a little careful with the stairs to the apartment. Since there is only a railing on one side. But this is just a small hint. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Communication with Ivar was quick and hassle-free. Kindly, we were even allowed to check out a little later ☺️

Marius is an amazing host. The house is picky, so we can completely relax in the beautiful surroundings. The house is quiet place, yet in close walking distance a city's comforts. We've been here for others with our grandchildren who are now teenagers. They suggest it will be a tradition that we go on a trip to Medemblik. There was a bottle of champagne for us as a welcome. However, the biggest welcome was that it was so clean and cozy. You really feel welcomed and welcomed.

We had an amazing stay at Sandra's house in Breezand. This spacious property was ideal for a group stay, providing a plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location is fantastic, nestled in a peaceful village. The house itself was well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely 8 night stay in this cozy cottage by the canal. The bed was comfy, the place was peaceful, and Noortje was a kind host who even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens. There was some parking lot construction early on and occasional activity from the business next door, but nothing major. Just a heads-up: check-in and check-out were in person (not self-service), and there was a tourist tax to be paid in cash at the end, which wasn’t mentioned upfront in the listing. Overall, a great spot for a quiet getaway.

The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. In the kitchen, we were missing a few things in terms of dishes. It also gets warm relatively quickly there, as it is an annex. At first we were irritated that the door to the apartment is not lockable and in the hallway a staircase goes up to the landlord. But we had our privacy and no one came running down the stairs. Communication very friendly and fast.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a lovely and very relaxing stay in this super nice, individual bungalow. The kitchen is not only visually great, it is also well equipped. Despite the park, you have your privacy, the garden is completely overgrown and fenced. We will definitely be happy to come back, very clear 10 out of 10!

Paul, the landlord, has a quiet and personal manner. Very pleasant. Absolutely helpful, very quick to respond and friendly. Amenities - especially the kitchen - were definitely fine. Glad to come back!

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. We (3 sisters) enjoyed the nice, friendly welcome, clean cottage with nice beds. We were allowed to park the car on the premises for a few days while we cycled the 11 city tours. Which was a reassuring thought for us.

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. As a result, there is also constantly fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. On the dike, there is also a beach for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The dog has also been thought of. We'd love to come back.

Linda‘s place is a really nice apartment. In the inner circle of Alkmaar‘s old town but quiet though. Situated at a lovely Chanel where people sit outside and where there is a very special atmosphere in the evening when the sun goes down. The apartment is as described and we liked it a lot. There is a lift to the third floor which is of great help for people that struggle with stairs. Communication was easy and proactive. I can highly recommend this place.

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back

4 friends & me stayed at Chrystels place and we loved it. everything was amazing. she was super welcoming, shared lots of information up front without us asking and even was flexible with check in and check out times. the place is amazing, super cute interior and clean. would definitely do it again!

TinyHouse Alkmaar is a small, very very small house.. but I felt like home. Thing is - the owners are one of a kind - and that is after staying in the previous airbnb which the host make me feel as if I am doing something wrong just for wishing to cook in the kitchen… If the only thing i mainly have to say about the “negative”, I guess - that’s the best compliment you can give, given the housing prices. If the price works for you, if the size doesn’t make you unable to move physically, you might find TinyHouse to be the best! The house is tiny, but very well planned and consolidated. Some things are inevitable- like water splashing to the floor.. while washing dishes or cooking.. I can go on and on - bottom line though - it felt like home. Arjon and Femka are the best house owners to have.. the best. To conclude, the house is small, the owners - the biggest heart (test me on that by all means). I could stay there for a year, if I could. Thank you Femka, and thank you - Arjon!
