Judith was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her place is the ideal location for a trip to Amsterdam - only a v short bus and metro ride to get into the centre of the city. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The area is gorgeous and it was lovely to get the opportunity to experience a more rural area outside the busy city. 100% recommend!

Wilhemina is an absolutely wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I booked, she provided detailed information and checked in about our arrival time. The room was beautifully prepared with thoughtful touches like local tourist brochures for Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Despite inaccessible kitchen, she generously provided complimentary breakfast each morning, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The location is truly special for nature lovers - peaceful and surrounded by greenery where you can truly unwind. However, future guests should be aware of a few practical considerations: there are stairs to navigate with luggage (pack light if possible), and the property is about 30km from Amsterdam city center. While accessible by public transport (metro + bus or two buses), the journey takes time, and evening/night bus frequency reduces to 30-60 minute intervals. This is a perfect retreat for travelers who prioritize tranquility.

We had a really nice stay at Isabel's place. The apartment was even better than described in person. We had almost the whole upstairs to ourselves. Isabel also prepared us a baby crib and a baby bath for our little son. The daily breakfast was always the highlight in the morning and we were always happy about it. Isabel and her son really went out of their way to prepare it and it was really delicious. The garden with the terrace by the pool looked really fantastic and invites you to relax. The location was ideal for us to explore Texel, as it is very centrally located. It is also right on a bike path. We would book the accommodation again at any time if we come back to Texel and also recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few relaxing days on Texel. Thanks for a great stay! It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

It was a wonderful stay with Vidi, I'd love to come back. Alkmaar, the great city, its cafes and restaurants invited you to linger and the nearby surroundings to the North Sea, as well as the associated bike tour through the dunes of Bergen, Schoorl and Groet were unforgettably beautiful and are fond memories for me. In a beautiful location is the house of Dirk-Jan, a very friendly host. You feel immediately welcome and he also provides a delicious breakfast with a toast during breakfast as the crowning glory :) From the house you can walk to Volendam, which we thought was ideal.

What a pleasant welcome by Marianne at the kitchen table with tea, treats and explanation of the hotspots of the island! We only wanted to exchange the car for our rental bikes (with the neighbor), but could already go to the room earlier than planned. Marianne: “Come in!” Very nice! We stayed in room 2/3. Marianne helped us (from home) very quickly with rebooking after I booked room 1 and she advised that 2/3 is better suited for friends (not a couple). Beautiful cozy lady that consists of 2 rooms. We made good use of the kitchen. All supplies were provided. Glad there was also a dining table and sofa in the room. Lovely bed too! Bathroom in the hallway that was simple, but very nice that it was privately available to us. Oh..and I almost forget the fresh eggs at the bottom of the stairs in the morning. :) Nice cozy location in the cozy Den Hoorn (a village to fall in love with).

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. We loved our stay at Bianca’s place! The surrounding area is peaceful and rural, and not far from the beach/sea. There is a bus to the train station in Hoorn, though it doesn’t run late. We didn’t have a car but got along fine by bus/walking. Great place for a family stay. The alpacas and other animals were so cute! We were all quite taken with them, and we all had our favorites. Breakfast was really good - fresh farm breakfast with homemade yogurt and jams, and eggs from the farm. Bianca is super friendly and helpful! We would recommend Bianca’s place to anyone!

Jacob is really friendly,talkative man who offers beatiful rooms with nice view in a beatiful location (close to the train and boat). Rooms and bathroom were beatiful and clean. And breakfest was awesome!

Nicky and Danny are very lovely hosts who have a great B + B. Everything in-house, great decor and very tastefully furnished. The room was very nice and everything had its place. Also the small bathroom was clean and tidy. We were welcomed very friendly. Could use the garden and the premises. We especially enjoyed the fun and interesting conversations with Danny and Nicky in their dining room in the evening. Breakfast was prepared by Nicky with a lot of love and very varied. There was everything that was part of a great breakfast. We had a very nice time with Nicky and Danny. The place is highly recommended.

Colleague was very happy with the B&B. "Was GREAT!". Quiet and beautiful scenery. Nice, clean and quiet room. Very friendly hostess. On a next project, we will definitely use Tineke's B&B. Is recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Miko’s place! Every morning we were suprised with new breakfasy basket, which we loved. Miko is a great host and we would only reccomend staying at this amazing place, just in front of forest and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

A great place to rest and relax far from hustle and bustle. The property was surrounded by greenery and many birds sang late in the day. I would recommend this property.

Great! A beautiful, well-kept, nature campsite in an open space in/on the edge of a large forest with all kinds of waterways. The conservatory at the campsite is great, with a bar, tables and chairs, wood stove and lounge area. A nice place to easily make contact. The Warthog family is amazing, very comfortable in the middle of nature due to the large windows. Everything is there, including a mini wood stove with a mini poker and scoop. A fantastic breakfast with fresh products from the area is included, with extra ingredients and recipe for a unique egg dish. 2 nights here was really too short! next time maybe with our own caravan, seems like a lot of fun to me. Finally, what really stood out is that everyone there is so friendly, even in the area!
