We enjoyed staying at Hazel’s beautiful place. It was cozy and well appointed. Hazel was a joy to work with and she left us plenty of extra goodies that made our stay extra nice.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

We had a great time in Fort William and this apartment was perfect for us (2 adults and a 10-year-old). It had all the amenities that we needed, and given the weather we were so grateful to have the dedicated drying room. Restaurants, the train station, shops, a cool playground and a nice hike on Cow Hill are all within a 15 minute walk. Had a great time!

Pier was very responsive all the time and helped a lot. The house is very clean and located in a very good area which you can walk anywhere and next to the park which was very useful for us with a 6 years old kid. there are a few close cafes we enjoyed too. It is also in a residential area which is quite and calm. We only had issue with the blinds as they were not enough to prevent from daylight especially in the early morning but Pier is about to fix it as we understand:). Thank you!!

Roy And Iris met us as we arrived, they were very warm and welcoming. Their place was just amazing with little touches that exceed expectations. The gardens and property have beautiful little nooks where you can go for a walk or take a book and relax outdoors and read. Such a beautiful amazing place and a credit to both Roy and Iris. We had a wonderful time, tha k you both so much.

James’ apartment was the perfect location for our trip: scenic, quiet, accessible parking, plenty of space to relax and a real cook’s kitchen. The apartment was spotless and James was immediately responsive when we had questions. Blackout blinds were welcome at the height of summer and we slept well on the firm mattresses. Washing machine worked very well but would recommend using it during business hours as it got quite noisy during the spin cycle. Recommend this place highly.

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Had an amazing stay at Seaview. Property was so clean and well laid out. Nice modern kitchen and shower room. Great garden for us and the dogs and the views are stunning. Such a great base and within a few seconds walk of the 2 best pubs in the village along with all the local shops so close by. Would strongly recommend John’s house. We had a fantastic time.

The venue is stunning, the photos do not do it justice! Everyone has everything the need in each room with their own en suite and the grandness of the building is something else! You have so much space, the large garden area wraps around back and side and is beautiful with stunning views! Everything you could need in the kitchen and welcome bottle very kindly provided by our hosts! Plenty of entertainment and eating areas! When leaving one of our cars broke down and they were very understanding and accommodating! Perfect location, made our stay extra special!

Perfect location. 10/10. I did not want to leave. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, unbelievable views, superb location, easy access to logs for fire with which my husband was delighted. 100% would return... tomorrow if it was possible! Our dog (border terrier) had a fantastic time too and was very interested in the wee hedgehog who appeared to be living in the bushes outside and the free range chickens!! There was also a free range doggo popping round to the garden in the evening. Vigilance/ Lead/ supervision was a must for our super inquisitive pup.

We had a wonderful stay and the house is very cosy. Lucy messaged several times to make sure we wanted for nothing. Of all the weekend getaways we’ve had, this was our favourite. Would highly recommend.

10/10, wonderful place to relax & have a day off from life. Enjoyed every moment. TV worked, which was a massive bonus. Everything was as described, worth every penny. Will be back soon. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lodge in Capernwray. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed every day—it was the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was spotless and incredibly well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host, Luan, was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. With space to sleep six, it’s ideal for families or couples. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location.

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

We had an a wonderful stay. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—quiet and very peaceful but still close to local attractions/restaurants/supermarkets. The private walled garden was great and very much enjoyed by our dog. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips. It really felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had an incredible 3 night stay at Skyfall. One of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed! Spotlessly clean rooms with an amazing view. A lot of effort was made to make our stay feel extra special. It was the perfect birthday getaway and the hosts were very kind and welcoming from the minute we arrived. This makes a huge difference compared to the standard ‘self check-in’ experience that a lot of places offer. Wonderful place, so peaceful and fantastic large garden to wander in. Great hosts who were lovely and helpful. Lots of thoughtful touches in the flat that made it really welcoming and special.

Warren has been absolutely fantastic! Never come across a host like it on air bnb! So responsive gave amazing restaurant recommendations and was just great, I struggled where to park he quickly responded and gave clear directions, even left us a couple of beers in the fridge for us! Thank you so so much!! Room was as shown lovely little terrace and what an amazing place he made the flat! Easy place to get around to restaurant and bars and could book a taxi right outside to the rest of Manchester, parking over the road and completely clean and tidy! Thank you so much for letting us stay! Would highly recommend and what a fab host! Thank you for being so helpful and informative!

Small peaceful haven in Corpach, beach and Caledonian canal within walking distance. The place exceeded our expectations! Spacious, quality furniture, small hillside garden that made us feel like we were in the middle of the forest! We enjoyed the company of the birds as well as Richard's availability. The best part: a basket filled with lots of good things and games for children, we were very well received 😊

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful spot in Anglesey. The views were absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. Gabrielle and Bill were fantastic hosts: warm, welcoming, and always happy to help if we needed anything. A special bonus was the two lovely dogs on the property — they were so friendly and added an extra charm to the stay. The EV charger was also incredibly helpful and made things so much more convenient for us during our trip — a great touch for electric vehicle drivers. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with amazing views and thoughtful hosts. Hope to return soon!
