Vacation rentals with breakfast in Hebrides

I had a lovely peaceful stay. The room was so comfortable and immaculately clean. Christina and Declan were very helpful with check in and Eamon was so helpful the next morning for breakfast Perfect location near donegal town

Staying at The View gave a great rural experience despite being only five minutes drive into the lovely town of Portree. The accommodation is a spacious studio flat quite private. Extremely well appointed with all necessary facilities, great heating and generous breakfast provisions. Hosts were friendly and super helpful but not intrusive. Highly recommended for a short or longer stay on the amazing Isle of Skye.

Loved it here, gardens were in full bloom and glorious to spend time wandering around. I found the home very comfortable, and we were very well catered for. Breakfast was fab and the facilities provided all we could have needed.

Sarah war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt in ihrem Zuhause. Schade das nur eine Übernachtung in diesem Zeitraum frei war.

Alasdair is a wonderful human and the chance to experience him, his companion Ross the Dog, and the out of this world landscape of his croft was an honour. He made us feel like family and the chance to get to know him was a highlight of our whole trip to the Hebrides. The beds were so comfy, the breakfast amazing (we watched him feed the chickens who gave us our breakfast eggs while we ate), the local knowledge advice of places and adventures invaluable. Do yourself a favour and get to know him (and Ross) and experience his place. A memory for life for us.

We had a lovely stay, making the most of the fantastic area despite the changeable weather! Thank you Victoria and Ewan for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay. It was immaculate and just as described. The bed and shower were top notch! It was lovely to arrive and find home-made bread, which was delicious, and it was helpful to have the other basic essentials provided. Everything we needed for our short stay.

I travelled to The Coach House for business. It is a 10 minute drive to Workington. Everything was to a good standard, aesthetically pleasing, and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the shower spacious. You will have neighbours - the sheep. The sheep made a sound, I thought it was a duck! Thanks Joanna. Pig loved it too. X

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

Beautifully presented accommodation! Everything we needed plus more! Bread and milk was a nice touch. Wonderful setting close to city centre and train station.

Wir waren vier Tage bei Kathryn, und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, alles war blitzsauber. Kathryn hat uns gar schon etwas in den Kühlschrank gestellt, das hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Kommunikation lief bestens, Kathryn war super hilfsbereit. Es waren tolle Tage in den Highlands.

The flat was perfect, as described and felt like home, couldn't fault it at all. If im ever in Glasgow again and this place is listed, ill definitely be booking again. Also, there was a brillaint pub 2 mins round the corner, just passed the Tesco Express called the Bon Accord which had brilliant/friendly staff, brilliant food/alcohol and atmosphere, spent each evening there for dinner and I highly recommend that pub to anyone who stays here. Many thanks for the great experience I had!

Its remote, and eating out is not possible after 19:00, bokings esential, drive over the hils is hard

We had a lovely stay at Margaret’s place! It was very tidy and homey, and had everything we needed. The parking was good and the location was very nice too. Would recommend to anyone!

It was a nice bedroom with an attached bathroom. A queen bed and a twin bed it was great for a one night stay. It was in a very, quiet, rural area with a 5 mile, one lane road off of the highway. A nice to-go breakfast was provided. We arrived and the instructions were on the front door that told me which upstairs bedroom was mine. Another 3 girls that rented the other room, were in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. There was a shared microwave and mini fridge outside the two bedrooms upstairs.

Glyn is such a wonderful, welcoming host. The breakfast was amazing and the BnB was the perfect peaceful hideaway on Skye.

Very comfortable. Great location next to the station. Frank & Maria went out of their way to make sure I had everything needed and gave lots of recommendations for things to do, walks to try and places to eat. Even though it is a room only basis, they provide a fridge and microwave, crockery tea&coffee, biscuits, milk, juice, fruit, yoghurts etc so you can easily sort a continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Pitlochry itself is a lovely little market town with lots to see, and great links into Scotland. 5*

I could not be happier having stayed at Vicky’s. Great, cosy, pristine place with spectacular views over the bay. I only regret I did not plan to stay for longer. Amazing breakfast, homemade bread….great value for money overall. Look around no more, stay at Vicky’s 😊Almost forgot to mention the friendly, energetic and cheerful cocker spaniel, Roobarb/ Rhubarb (not sure which is the correct spelling, the first, or like the plant).

Catherine’s large apartment is amazing! Beautiful furnishings and decor. Catherine has exquisite taste and has thought of everything to make your stay special. The bed was comfortable - wonderful night’s sleep. The sofa & large screen tv were appreciated. Breakfast was great: milk, muesli, yogurt, fruit, waffles/toast plus tea & coffee machine. The new bathroom is lovely. Amazing experience. I wish we could have stayed a week! Thank you Catherine.

Freshly made loaf and warm scones awaited us on arrival so a lovely start. Room was lovely and we slept well in the large comfy bed. Jain is on hand if you need her and was there to welcome us.

Graham and Natasha have truly outdone themselves with this stay, you will feel instantly like you are returning to long time friends in a cosy home. High recommend on the salmon dish for breakfast, and make sure if you have any questions about the area that you ask G&N as they'll be able to provide some great history, but also advice on what to do and what to skip. We had the most amazing stay, and feel we have made friends for life. if you get the chance, I cannot recommend this stay enough. Beautiful home full of beautiful peoole! I'll be back!

Fiona was a delightful host and the accommodation fairly priced. A full cooked breakfast is included if not encouraged. I was in the single, tower room which although small had delightful views over the surrounding hills. Strapeffer is seemingly a old victorian spa town with a whiff of an Indian hill station about it. It would make a good stop on the way to Ullapool and the West coast or as for me on my way to the Orkneys in the North.
