I really enjoyed staying at Fred's place and was lucky to be able to stay an extra night. The cottage was very comfortable and in a quiet area. Easy to find with Eircode and Google maps. I would happily stay again

Karen was very helpful and her instructions were clear. It was beautiful, quiet and undisturbed setting was a peaceful escape.

A highlight of our trip to Ireland. Cozy - loved the heated floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was simply charming - the surrounding plants and donkeys, Guinea Fowl TV, Robert's impressive carpentry skills and the fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook good dinners - there isn't much in the way of nearby restaurants. Robert was a kind host with good suggestions for walks and sightseeing. Thank you, Robert, for sharing your beautiful 'hen house's with us :)

I wish we could have stayed another night! Beautiful location and a clean, comfortable place to stay. Martina was responsive via text and we got to meet John in person - he was lovely energy. The breakfast box was AMAZING and the cherry on top of a welcoming Irish experience I was looking for. We even got to feed the herd with John before leaving! 10/10 would highly recommend this peaceful stay to anyone.

Frances and Angus gave us a very warm welcome to their cosy, immaculate and well-equipped cottage. It is close to their home and alongside a bubbling stream, set in incredible gardens. We were recommended walks and given home grown produce. They made our stay in the Loch Tay area comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Frances and Angus!

Super break staying in Tracy & Rolys cottage. It really is a warm and comfortable place set in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the weather was challenging so we ended up spending more time indoors than we would have liked but that really didn’t matter as the cottage was a real home from home stocked with books and games which we enjoyed. We will definitely return to explore the surrounding countryside in hopefully better weather. We’ve stayed in many cottages and this is right up near the top!

The place is just perfect for us. It is in the middle of nowhere, with amazing views out to sea and surrounded by open, rolling fields and woodland, full of wildlife. The hosts have done a great job and and are lovely people to deal with. The place has everything a couple could need for a break. It is all good quality and very much to our liking. There were lots of nice touches, such as a freshly baked cake and local fresh milk together with tea and coffee. The fresh flowers and a birthday card for my wife, made her day! We are planning our next visit already!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! We had a wonderful stay here for two nights while we attended a wedding. The host was very friendly and super responsive, they even took the time to recommend a cab company for our travels. The place its self is beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer. It was immaculate, comfy and felt so homely. It was a great place for our stay as it had all the amenities we needed from a hair dryer to dressing table and an iron and board. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We hope to stay again on our future trips to see family!

Quite rural but only 8 mins off the main road - makes you feel you’re in a very special quiet place! Great little cottage, cozy and comfy and clean, and nicely decorated. Hot tub with great view is a fab addition. Would recommend.

A fantastic getaway very near to the M6. So cosy and homely. Lovely touches like fresh eggs and milk for breakfast. Very nicely decorated with Lake District themed art, beautiful countryside setting and views and friendly host.

Lynn & Reg are so friendly and make you feel so welcome at home straight away. Their little cottage is so nice, the photos don’t do it justice. Private garden for the dogs and endless places to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. The beach is literally 2 mins walk down a track and we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there. We look forward to going back and spending more time there.

i was born about 4 miles from the piggery but did not realise what a view could be had from the Stoodley Pike hillside. It was helped by the really good weather (also a surprise) but the Piggery has been very well thought out, was spotless, and had most things you would expect. Everything included was working and of excellent quality. The drive up from Eastwood is like nothing previously experienced, a little scary. We did it three times and I must say, by the third time we did it, I quite enjoyed it. We met both Barry and Helen separately and found both of them very pleasant and extremely helpful. The accommodation was well thought out and once again, I must mention the views which are superb. A location to be recommended. Ray (and Shirley)

This is a beautifully presented little cottage in an ideal position to visit the Lakes. Everything you’ll need is here and we really appreciated all the toiletries and welcome pack. There are lovely walks around and about the village too and of course the fabulous Dog and Gun pub within walking distance for a superb evening meal. Thanks to Matt for great communication leading up to our stay and a wonderful few days!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The location is peaceful, with a couple of pubs within walking distance. There are plenty of walks starting from Bonsall and it's just a short drive to other destinations like Bakewell. The home itself is beautifully decorated and very relaxing—we especially enjoyed a couple of sunny evenings in the outdoor area surrounded by the wildflower garden. Flossie the cat was very friendly and we loved having cuddles with her! Amy was also friendly and communicative. Overall, a peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable weekend away.

This property is just amazing. Beautifully furnished and laid out it really is a special find. Exceptionally comfy beds and the copper bath and jacuzzi are pure bliss and do a superb job of soothing tired achy muscles. All very private and secluded but owners are next to it on main house. Had a lovely chat with Rebecca . Would 100 % love to stay again in fact I loved it so much I added another night this time 👍

We have just got back from a fantastic week at The Barn in Ardfern. Cameron’s dad Phil lives nearby and he gave us lots of good tips for places to see. He was also a lovely friendly person to chat to. The Barn is very private and peaceful. Inside it is fantastically designed, comfortable, with everything we could need - a beautiful kitchen, crisp white bed linen, lovely bath and shower, and nice milk, biscuits and wine to welcome us. Places not to miss are Arduaine garden, Crarae garden, Ardmaddy garden and Crinan canal for walking or cycling. Lucy’s in the village was lovely for breakfast, lunch or coffee & cake. Just five minute walk up the hill near The Barn is a splendid view on the surrounding Lochs. We also went to Iona (book ahead with CalMac or West Coast Tours) - it was great getting the bus between ferries rather than driving. The ferries get very booked up at this time of year. Altogether we could not have asked for a lovelier week- thanks so much Phil Abi and Cameron.

We had a lovely stay at Kelly and Neal’s cottage. The cottage was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Beautiful and peaceful location on the farm, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kelly was super communicative and responded quickly to any questions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a countryside stay.

Absolutely perfect. Not a single thing you could want for…..every need is catered for. Loved the welcome package of bread, spreads and the most delicious fudge ever. Beautiful location. An absolute gem in the forest. Loved our stay. Fabulously presented.

Hazel's & Mike's place was lovely! Booked for two nights to attend a wedding nearby. Needed somewhere for our small family to stay and this was perfect! lovely place with very well kept accommodation in a quiet location! Everything was great and more than what you could need - very nice bathroom/wet room, and fully equipped kitchen keeping the toddler fed easily! Very spacious bedroom with perfect size beds for all. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we find ourselves in this part of the world again!

Balmacaan Steading: een droomplek! Een state of the art gerenoveerde schuur bij een prachtige oude pastorie in een fraai dorpje met een leuke pub vlakbij. Comfortabel, compleet, gezellig, smaakvol. Neil en Catriona zijn fijne hosts. Gastvrij en uiterst hoffelijk. Cawdor en deze airbnb zijn de ideale plek om een prachtig deel van Schotland te verkennen. Alles is zo nabij. Ruige noordoost kust. Kastelen. Prachtig Cairgorms National Park. Distilleerderijen. Natuurwandelingen. Schotland op zijn best. Wij waren hier voor de tweede keer, nu een week, ontdekken weer nieuwe dingen, zijn nog lang niet uitgekeken. Met pijn in het hart vertrokken. Wij gaan hier met liefde terugkomen.

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

I had a relaxing few days at the lovely Old Byre, while exploring the peninsula and all of it's fantastic wildlife. Violet & Iain were very welcoming and friendly hosts, the cake was very much enjoyed! The cottage is comfortable, clean & well equipped, a very well crafted conversion from the old stone building. I would highly recommend.

This was such a lovely place to stay and rest up before heading home to Canada. It would have been so nice to explore more of the area and learn more from Simon, but the place was the perfect cozy spot to sit and read during the rain. There was fresh bread when we arrived — unfortunately we are celiac but we thoroughly enjoyed the homemade marmalade!
