Log Cabin situated within the idyllic the village of Cairndow on the banks of Loch Fyne in Argyll . The cabin has an elevated position to the rear of the property occupied by the host with stunning views over Loch Fyne and the surrounding countryside. This is an ideal location for outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, walking and climbing. Use as a base for sightseeing in the surrounding villages of Argyll or as the reviews suggest for a relaxing break that lets you get away from it all.
“The ramblers rest is a fantastic cosy little spot to get away for a few days. It’s situated in a fantastic location to see the sights around Loch Lomond and surrounding areas. The cabin looks great, is comfortable and spotless! The log burner is a fantastic addition for a cosy night in and it warms the cabin up when it’s a little too cold to go without. The hot tub provides fantastic views over loch Fyne and the surrounding hills. Sharon is a fantastic host and both herself and her husband Eric were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our visit was booked here just prior to the government locking down pubs and restaurants due to our current climate; Sharon kept in touch prior to and during our stay ensuring we were still happy to keep our booking and providing all of the information we could need for a fantastic stay. We hope to return soon and see some of the sights we missed due to the closures.”
I am introducing a 2 night break between bookings. There will be a deep clean during changeovers. This is to ensure my guests will be safe place during their stay. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. Pets are welcome and stay free. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast including walking, mountaineering, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing and fishing .
“We had a short but wonderful stay at the lodge. It is located at the edge of the forest, so it's just a few steps to be in beautiful nature that we wish we had more time to explore. The loch is a stinking view. There's a very close by bus stop, that connects to the town for getting supplies or further connections (though you need to keep a eye on the sparse schedule). The lodge had everything we needed, was clean, silent and very cozy. Robbie, the host, was always quick to respond to requests, and even helped us with tips of what to see nearby. We hope to visit the Argyll Retreat Lodge again, and will add a few more days, as there's much more to see.”
Goldberry Cabin is a one bedroom, self catering accommodation, and was built for couples who want to enjoy a romantic getaway. The Cabin is dramatically situated at the foot of Ben Arthur and enjoys stunning views over Loch Long. Goldberry Cabin is located just outside Arrochar in Ardgartan, which places us at the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
“From the beginning on, we had a good time in James' cabin. Everything was as expected or even better. James gave us a warm welcome and gave us some tips for dinner. Nice details in the cabin and pretty much everything at hand to make yourself at home for a couple of days. There's not much left to say, besides we're glad we picked this cabin and looking forward to come back at some point in the future!”
