Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Hamburg

We stayed in Hamburg for 7 days and were allowed to stay with Alex. The apartment is in a sugar sweet settlement with beautiful brick houses. Directly in the yard of the settlement is a small playground. This was ideal for our 2 kids. The decor on the pictures in the ad no longer quite matches the current state. They might need to be updated:) We were very satisfied as a family with 2 kids. The 6 year old daughter didn't want to do anything, just stay in Alex's daughter's room and craft ;) For our little daughter, Alex organized a travel crib from the neighbor without hesitation. The best thing about the apartment is the location. We loved the ski area. You can walk to the S-Bahn in a few minutes. Within walking distance there are some supermarkets and bakeries. A playground is also around the corner. Alex was always available immediately and really super personable and nice.

The house is extremely clean and very comfortable - a good mix of the simplicity of a hotel and the comfort of a home. And also the amenities like a washer (clothes and dishes) and a well equipped kitchen. Silke is helpful and responds quickly to any questions. Please note that it’s a 4 floor walk-up and if you can handle it, this home is worth the effort.

Anna and Arne's house is stunning, beautifully decorated with a mix of originality and elegance. It's fully equipped with all the essentials—dishwasher, washing machine, kitchenware—and even has a lovely patio for outdoor dining, although enjoying it in Hamburg's spring weather can be a bit of a challenge. Anna has thoughtfully stocked the house with all the comforts you might need, from frozen meals to water and beer, ensuring that if you arrive late or on a Sunday when shops are closed, you'll still be able to make yourself a nice dinner. Communication with Anna and Arne was smooth and fast. We didn’t meet Anna in person, but we had a pleasant encounter with Arne, who was friendly and welcoming. The house is located in a peaceful, rural area—exactly what we were looking for. It’s perfect if you want a quiet retreat. However, if you're into vibrant nightlife, this might not be the right spot for you.

I was for approx. 2 weeks in David´s apartment. I know Hamburg already very well, so it is a perfect area for a stay in this beautiful city and the apartment is also in a beautiful house on the top with a perfect view around. The spacy balcony would be lovely for warmer times. I was there in Dec. / Jan.. The apartment itself is also very spacy with nice furnisher. Communication with David was quick, friendly and on the point. Thanks for the hospitality.

It was a super uncomplicated communication. The house was the same as in the pictures and in a great condition with great furnishings and a super nice garden. The highlight is the hot tub. It was a real stroke of luck .

A much-needed respite after traveling in the heat. The folks at the front desk were so nice and helpful when it came time to check in and out, and even were happy to help my sister finalize her Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfit in a pinch! All in all a really welcoming and comfortable stay. Hooray for air conditioning!

Tiziana renovates a beautiful orchard with 4 apartments, which are furnished with a lot of love for detail. The place is perfect as a base for cycling trips. Unfortunately, there are few restaurants nearby. Ideal for self-catering!

We had a wonderful stay at Stefanie’s place! The apartment was absolutely amazing — very cozy, spotless, and exactly as shown in the photos. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood that’s easy to reach, and despite the hot weather during our visit, the apartment stayed pleasantly cool, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the lovely balcony overlooking a peaceful garden — perfect for relaxing after a day out in Hamburg. Stefanie is a very friendly and responsive host, and we felt truly welcome. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hamburg!

Close to shops and restaurants plus walking distance to the lake made the experience so memorable. We had an afternoon of drinks while watching the boats on the lake. quiet place in nature for relaxation

We felt very comfortable with Florian. The house is located in the middle of a quiet residential area with one or two-family houses. Of 5 days, we only noticed the proximity to the airport on 1 day. We liked the modern furnished room as well as the bathroom and they were spotless. Nice to be able to make a coffee or tea. Thanks for the little welcome greeting Very happy to come back

A spacious house with a lofty equipment and parking in front of the door or even garage. If you have small children, look forward to the children 's-friendly furnishings. A garden, gym, games, cargo bike, normal bike etc. are all available. Hosts offer guests their entire home to use. Location: 7 minutes by car from the S-Bahn station Elbgaustraße, where a day park & ride ticket costs two euros. From there you can get directly to the city center in 20 minutes. But it would also be possible without a car by bus, as the stop is not far away. The connection is good and you can also enjoy the tranquility around it with park, adventure playground and park/forest.

My friend and I had a great time at Ralf’s place :) we spent a weekend there and enjoyed their homestead goods. We were lucky with the weather, meaning we ate all our meals in the beautiful garden. Ralf and his wife were very accommodating, quick at responding and supportive with local shops and stories from the area. The room surprised us with being larger than we thought - also there was a nice table in the “living area” where we could play cards. Fully equipped kitchen. Everything was tidy and neat. We would definitely come back :)

It was really cozy with Thilo and his family. A paradise for children and there is plenty to do, both on the property and in the surrounding area. The nearby beach is really good (however, we were out of season and had to jump in our wetsuits, and due to the current it is not suitable for very small children) and we also enjoyed the spa, which was very close and in which Thilos guests get a cheap price, with all saunas included. There are also two pools, an indoor and an outdoor pool. Thilo was very friendly and helpful and helped us with all questions. We highly recommend the accommodation if you want to spend a quiet family vacation in a vacation apartment. We will be happy to come back.

We enjoyed it very much. We, an older couple with 2 dogs, had plenty of nature, a wonderful view of meadows, cows and expanse, and our hosts were very nice young active people who, with a lot of imagination and verve, make a wonderful large property very inviting. The apartment was very nice. The only annoying thing was that we had to use our car every day to get to the beautiful Elbe beach or to go shopping. For us, it was important to have "peace," which is absolutely true here. The property is large, parking right in front of the apartment which was well equipped with the essentials. Also not with as much decoration as you usually find. There were two of us, so we had a lot of space (there were four beds). Supermarkets are 3 km away. You can ride a bike a lot here (Elbe, etc.), rental not so far away, which also brings the bikes. Tip also came from Thilo, who always responded quickly to inquiries. All around, we felt very comfortable, pure relaxation to escape the big city life. We say thank you for the lovely stay.

A wonderful and definitely recommended place to stay! The house is superbly equipped and decorated, large enough for the specified number of people and surrounded by the great hotel complex and the forest. Communication with Siegmund worked great and was always totally friendly! We really enjoyed the stay and would be happy to come back!

We spent 4 nights at Annabelle's. The communication was straightforward, the place was very clean, spacious and cozy. There was plenty to play with for my little children - craft corner, playroom, gymnastics corner. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. In advance, there were tips for gastronomy and activities. The area is very quiet, 5 minutes away is a bus stop, which is quite well frequented during the day. If you are traveling by public transport, you have to note that it takes about 40-60 minutes to get to the center and back, depending on where you want to go. We definitely had a nice time and would come back.
