John, our host, and his son were warm and welcoming. The setting is serene and beautiful and very close to public transportation.

Mhairi's flat is well positioned to have a quiet place to stay a stones throw from the quiet end of the beach. There is easy access west to the city of Edinburgh and east along the coast by public transport . The bus stop is close by and a frequent service. Nice to stroll along Musselburgh harbour in the evening and enjoy a drink and fish and chips at the Ship Inn. Mhairi was a very kind and helpful host. We very much enjoyed our stay and our grand daughter who came to visit was fascinated to watch the black and white cat (definitely Postman Pats) and the squirrel who sat outside the door !!

Un conseil pour les futurs locataires : prenez le temps de discuter avec John ! La Wendy House est magnifique, un petit cottage dans son écrin de verdure. Nous sommes sous le charme. A genuine Airbnb like no other. Everything you could think of has been thoughtfully provided in this cosy annex. Very clean and looks even better in person. Plenty of food in the cupboards and fridge, the host is very generous. There’s also a TV with Netflix, books, a full kitchen, etc. Very easy and straightforward access to the city center with a bus stop right next to the Airbnb. The host, Judith, was super welcoming and kind, and so was her husband (lovely meeting you both!). We wish we had stayed longer, but will hopefully come back, and this time to go hiking and exploring the surroundings.

Fiona's place is 5 star in every way. The thoughtful touches of her beautiful suite are fantastic. She's thought of everything a traveler might need. The photos don't do it justice, it's even nicer and more comfortable. Looking out the window is absolutely beautiful and serene. The amenities in this airbnb are top shelf, immaculate, and look brand new. We could have stayed a week in Fiona's lovely place.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! The location is perfect! Just a 10 minute bus ride from the center, the neighborhood is very quiet and made the walks in the morning/evening very peaceful. You may even see friendly cats wanting to say hello while you're on your walk. The pod itself looked even better in person and was spacious. The morning sunrise and the beautiful night sky from the pod was breath-taking. Margherita made everything easy, she was extremely helpful, she made us feel at home and gave us our privacy as well. We cant wait to book again when we visit again in the future!!! 5 Stars all arounddd!

I came to the area to attend a wedding a few miles away, and staying here was one of the highlights of my trip. Jonathan was an exceptional host—friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. When no taxis were available, he kindly drove me to the wedding venue himself, which was far beyond anything I expected or paid for. The accommodation was spacious, spotless, and beautifully organised, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. I had plenty of privacy and felt completely at ease throughout my stay. Thank you, Jonathan, for your outstanding hospitality and for being such a gracious guide to this lovely area. I truly enjoyed my time here!

Highly recommended. The house was perfect, it had everything you could need. John was very kind to us and was flexible with our arrival as our flight was late. He explained everything we needed to know about the house and recommendations on how to get to Edinburgh.

Elizabeth was the perfect host. we felt right at home. She gave us useful information regarding the bus system and walking directions to the village. it was just the right distance from the city center. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Den.

Siamo stati accolti molto calorosamente da Steve e Val. La casa è molto pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli, immersa in un ambiente davvero tranquillo e rilassante. È stato bellissimo svegliarsi con la vista del giardino curato e dei campi circostanti con le mucche al pascolo. Abbiamo reincontrato Steve durante il nostro soggiorno, ed è stato sempre molto amichevole e disponibile a darci consigli. Sarebbe bello poter tornare di nuovo, è un posto da non perdere!

Amazing place with wonderful energy and terrific hosts in Karen and Geoff , wonderful souls that really couldn’t do enough for you. Everything was perfect from the lovely rooms to the gorgeous breakfasts. Me and my girlfriends made really good connections and thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay ***** 5 stars 😊

Abbiamo alloggiato una sola notte, ci siamo trovati molto bene, il letto è molto comodo e il bagno privato è piccolo ma pulito. L’alloggio è praticamente accanto alla fermata del tram con il quale potete raggiungere i vari punti della città velocemente.

We stayed at Tamsin and David’s for Edinburgh Marathon weekend and the entire trip was fantastic. Tamsin was amazing before we had even made it to Edinburgh, answering questions and recommending transport links. The AirBnB itself left us wanting for nothing. It was super clean, spacious and 2 minutes walk from the sea and bus stop that gets you into the centre of Edinburgh. Our only gripe was that the AirBnB was very warm and so all of the windows and doors had to remain open while we were in there. Tamsin and David’s attention to detail with decor, the breakfast they provided (catering to all dietary requirements) and their helpfulness before and throughout our stay was exemplary. If we are ever back in Edinburgh, we will be back!
