Walking, its 25 mins from Waverley train,3 mins to Holyrood Park, Arthur's Seat, the Palace of Holyrood, and Royal Mile, are 15 minute. In the other direction the trendy city beach of Portobello with promenade, cafes, artisan bakers, 25 min walk away. There are some great pubs & eateries close by too
