Condo vacation rentals in Edinburgh

I had to be in Edinburgh for a work meeting and all the host hotels were quite a distance from my venue. Found this place and it was just perfect! Very comfortable and close to the venue but also very easy to walk to the castle, walk the royal mile, etc. signed up for a Harry Potter walking tour Recommeneded by host and it was super interesting (not simply geared towards children). Hosts were really responsive. So glad to have found this place! And restaurant/pub just downstairs was quite nice to pop into for a drink or dinner. I had a terrific stay!

The apartment was even better than we expected. Very bright and clean with plenty of room to move around. The location is absolutely perfect, literally steps away from Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the Grassmarket and countless restaurants, shops and pubs. And being one block over from the Royal Mile, it gave us a bit of separation from all the foot traffic of that area. The owners were very helpful, with plenty of recommendations in area. We would rebook this place any time.

Wow! One of the most beautiful flats we have stayed in. Charming and cozy vibes. It was well appointed with everything we could have needed and the location was phenomenal. The perfect place to explore the lovely city of Edinburgh. Eliana was a wonderful host! Highly recommend!

We had the best time at the Royal Mile Retreat! It was within walking distance of all the sightseeing we wanted to do, and also an easy walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. The place had everything we needed, even a flat iron which was such a nice touch. We so enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Very easy to access no matter the time of day. Very easy to get to and from the airport via a bus. A lot of food options and stores nearby, even a mall. Great stay

James’s place is located centrally. Every place I wanted to visit was a quick 10 minute walk. The host is also very responsive and friendly.

Great spot in the heart of the city—quiet, clean, and with beautiful views. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Location, location, location. Soooooo close to everything in Edinburgh that you want to see, including being so close to the castle. We didn't spend too much time indoors because we were out enjoying the sights. Thank you Gavin and family for a comfortable stay.

The place is warm and cozy and we loved the view and the neighborhood. We were not able to used the watching machine however Agnia was an excellent helper. She is kind and sweet, always responde to our doubts and questions. Be mindful there is no lift in case you carry too much baggage (also is a great way to loose weight) jajaja. I would definitely recommend this place to explore and get to know better this beautiful country. <3

Great location! Peaceful, but less than one block away from restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Amazing views of the castle! Parking garage right next door. Extremely clean, modern furnishings, place has everything you need for a lovely trip to the city. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! The Flat is beautiful and just as advertised. Samantha left instructions on how to best use the washer and dryer which is big for us since they're very different in the US. A beautiful walk up the hill to all the main attractions as well as 2 or 3 grocery stores a short walk. Restaurants were close and easy to find variety. We parked free over the weekend. We were able to walk to and from the car rental. It's a quiet location so everyone slept well. Samantha was very responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend a stay!

Hiliory's place was fantastic. Awesome spot to relax in. Very walkable with plenty to do. Ran into a car issue on our trip and she let us store our luggage earlier even though place wasn't ready. Perfect stay!

The house was just as expected - beautiful peaceful location, well furnished, cozy feel. Local pub and shops within walking distance as well as several bus lines making it very convenient to get around. The Penland hills park was roughly a 20 min walk away through nice quiet neighborhoods which made for a nice day trip. Highly recommend!

Mark's flat is lovely, comfortable, clean and spacious. Right in the heart of Edinburgh, super close to lots of amusements, great pubs and restaurants. Would reccomend

Our family of three stayed at Emanuele's flat. While not super well set up for a 4 y.o., we were aware of this ahead of time and came prepared. Nothing was too difficult to work around. While a fairly small space for 3, the space itself sparked so much interest that we never felt cramped. It is a charming flat and we felt right at home.

An exceptional apartment with an exceptional host. The place is quiet, spacious, super clean, super comfortable. The entire apartment was beautifully decorated and had useful as well as interesting books. The living room/dining room is huge and pleasant to relax in. The kitchen had everything we needed and was stocked with lots of staples. The outdoor garden sitting area is beautiful. We really enjoyed staying here. Pierson is a great communicator and was helpful from our first inquiry all through our visit and checkout. Stockbridge is a perfect area to stay in: walking distance to all attractions in Edinburgh but a village in its own right with great shops and food. Do not miss I. J. Mellis Cheesemongers. They have so many cheeses from local UK and small producers. Their staff is friendly and happy to offer samples and teach. We had a wonderful long afternoon at the nearby Botanic Garden. We will be back!

If I could give this flat 5++++ stars I would. It is so welcoming. There is more space than you’d think from the photos and a great cozy feeling to it. Comfortable bed, great shower , excellent kitchen and the best views of the castle. The welcome from Joe, Richard and Nadia was amazing. They generously left us with whiskey, biscuits, coffee and a lovely bath pack. The flat is superbly located on the border of the old and new ( ish) parts of Edinburgh. It’s easy to walk to the Royal Mile or in the opposite direction to Denés Village. There are many restaurants nearby and a very handy M&S food hall down the street. The bus to the airport stops across the road and Waverley Station is a 10 minute walk. Brilliant. We loved our stay, couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This apartment was fantastic! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we were really impressed with the proximity to the Holyrood grounds and the bottom of the Royal Mile. It was a quick 10-ish minute walk to Holyrood Palace, and that places you right at the bottom of the Royal Mile. The apartment was clean, bright, and welcoming. All the appliances worked perfectly, and we were very happy for all the at-home comforts after staying in hotels during the first part of the trip. Towels were clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was fantastic. As they said, this is on a third-story walkup, so be ready to carry those bags up the stairs. If you decide to take public transit, we took the bus from Princes Street to Abbeyhill and walked down the hill. Very pleasant and well-lit at night. If you need groceries or drinks, be sure to buy them and bring them in before 8PM as many of the nearby stores and markets close early compared to American hours. Highly, highly recommend!

Anke-Beate's listing is one of a kind. Her attention to details makes her stand out. The home has every single thing a guest could need. She is the first host I have met, whose listing even provided a UK-to-US plug-in adapter, which was invaluable to us. She is very communicative. She recommended places we could get cheap parking, fun parts of the city, and even had a diary where past guests could write the fun things they did during their stays, such that incoming guests could view places from other visitors' lenses, rather than only what the locals view as fun. Did I mention that we got a complimentary bottle of wine? We will definitely look for her listing's availability during our next visit to Scotland.

We had a lovely time in Edinburgh! The flat was in a great location! Very easy to get to from the tram spot. Eddie is an amazing host. He answered all our questions and provided options for luggage drop. The flat is absolutely wonderful! There were easy instructions for appliances and everything was very clean! Would definitely recommend this location!

Tania and Pauls place in West End Edinburgh is full of British hospitality, beautifully furnished and comfortable. It's an easy walk to tourist spots but out of the fray on a quiet street.

A wonderful communicative, responsive host for an amazing flat in one of the best locations in Edinburgh! The flat is located right off Broughton Street on a quiet street with the bedrooms at the back overlooking a garden area. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes and equipment and we were easily able to make breakfast every day. While the toilet/WC and the shower rooms are separate and small we loved the water pressure in the shower and slept well in the comfortable bed. It was great having a main level flat and not having to deal with dragging suitcases up/down stairs - we’ll be back!

Had a great stay at this apartment for a short break. We were 2 adults with a 10 month old baby. The property was very family and baby friendly - fully equipped with a cot, high chair, baby bathtub and even toys and books. The basement flat meant having to carry the stroller up and down the stairs each time we went out, but we didn't find this too much of a bother. The apartment is furnished tastefully and was very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the local area where there are lots of great food options, shops and nice streets. We love walking so didn't mind the 20 minute walk to the main attractions in Edinburgh.

We loved our stay here! This apartment is absolutely charming and well located. The place was in great shape and everything was well stocked and organized. We didn’t want to leave! We were able to walk easily to the tram and everything in Edinburgh neighborhood restaurants and shops were close and everyone was very friendly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
