Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Capoliveri

We spent two weeks in the house while our friends with two small children (1.5 and 5) stayed in the house next door. The property is fantastic, the garden and the view of the sea marvellous - a little paradise. There are plenty of cosy spots and numerous sun loungers. In autumn (October) the hours of sunshine are shorter, partly because the house is on the north side of the island. However, the mornings were sunny and warm and I could imagine that in the summer months you would be very happy about the many nice shady spots. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook simple things. there is also plenty of storage space for groceries or personal items. The bathroom is spacious and very nice. Everything was very clean and the flat is lovingly and cosily furnished. We would book again in a heartbeat and hope it's not the last time we stay there.

Heidi's cottage is a small gem, located in a quiet and private location but very close (5-minute drive) to the town of Porto Azzurro where you can find everything you need (supermarkets, restaurants, shops...). The view from the house is wonderful and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The house is small but very clean, equipped with every comfort and welcoming, perfectly in line with the description and photos provided by Heidi. We had a great time! Our little dog loved the garden and the dog beach right under the house! The only small flaw as far as our habits were concerned was the fact that it was not possible to completely darken the bedrooms and therefore the light in the morning woke us up quite early! Heidi was always extremely quick and kind in her responses and, although distant, available whenever we needed her.

Understandable and welcome for us: the price is for the location. For us, too much luxury would put it in the shade. A few renovations, especially the furnishings of a cozy corner, where you can get together and sometimes cuddly, would still not hurt. We had a very good time either way and thoroughly enjoyed the nature encounters, the view, the starry sky, the sea and last but not least the away from crowded beaches.

Had a great stay at Michele's! The apartment is very newly renovated and has everything you need. We visited during the off-season so we were grateful for the stove providing us warmth in the evenings. Michele was very friendly and helpful, being flexible with our check in and check out times. The apartment is open, except for the bathroom but we made it work just fine. Rio is a nice and quiet little town with a beautiful view and perfect to chill out and relax. Its not far from the ocean either, so with a short drive you will be at the beach. All in all a great place :)

We stayed three nights at Francesco's place and felt very comfortable. There were initial "starting difficulties," but they were quickly resolved with Francesco's help. He was really very helpful and always immediately available. Thank you for everything! Should we be back on Elba, that would be our first address! 😀

Lovely place in the center of Rio nell'Elba with perfect location for activities such as cycling or hiking in the mountains on the east side of the island. Fast and straightforward communication with Rosa. Thank you so much!

We spent beautiful days on Elba as a family. The children could play in the garden, the beautiful sandy beach was within walking distance. We were alone in the cottage, it was quiet and has everything you need. I particularly highlight the very good communication before and during the stay with the owners and Ivana. Ivana lives in Elba and takes care of everything on site. She is adorable and always very friendly and helpful! Thank you again!

Francesco's accommodation is ideally located in the historic center of Porto Ferraio. Close to the port, restaurants, but nevertheless it is very quiet. The apartment has been renovated and is very functional, the only downside is that it is a little dark, but that's okay, because the main thing happens outside. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Casa Vaporina in early July. Casa Vaporina is equipped with all amenities, clean, tidy and fully reflects what is indicated in the listing. Excellent location right in the center of city life. The parking is not close to the house but easily reachable in a few minutes; however, it is possible to load/unload a few meters from the house. Francesco is an attentive and always available host. Recommended experience.

We were personally received by Antonella. Very nice apartment, generously equipped. Balcony with partial sea views. Thanks to the delicacies provided by Antonella (wine, pasta, etc.), we were able to enjoy the view with a dinner on the evening of arrival. Although close to the center, quiet residential area. The old town and the very beautiful gravel beach "Le Ghiaie" can be reached in a few minutes' walk. We can recommend Antonella's apartments at any time and would be happy to come back.

Very well-stocked apartment, clean and very close to Capoliveri beach and Felciaio beach (10 minutes walk). Warm shower and ample outdoor space are very useful. Bathroom a little small, but with a comfortable shower and great water pressure. Large private parking. Highly recommended and definitely a point of reference for the area!

Very nice view from the terrace, beaches nearby, quiet. Located between Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri. Very good stay I recommend.

Super apartment in a prime location in the center of Piombino. Edoardo is a young enthusiastic host, and can give you many tips. He also rents boats, for example, to sail to Elba. We are quite critical, but even after a 7-night stay, no negative things to report about the apartment, Edoardo or Piombino. People who love a balcony, terrace or garden should look a little further. Because this apartment doesn't have that, of course we knew that). We would go again in a heartbeat!

We have felt very comfortable in Nisportino. Cristiano and Sofia are warm, helpful and always easy to reach. Here are a few personal (!) pluses and minuses: + Mosquito nets on all windows + Air conditioning in the bedrooms + Flexible, earlier arrival was possible + We were able to share the terrace of the vacant apartment + Small bay with nice pebbles, both in the morning and in the afternoon we found a shady spot + Outside shower for after the beach - A bit remote for excursions around the island - Pillows were very thin and hard - Restaurant on the beach was closed (early October) - A few more basics in the kitchen would be great, like bowls or a toaster - Wifi was only available in one place on the neighboring terrace, unfortunately we had no mobile reception anywhere either

Paola's accommodation was really nice, very large, spacious and bright. The kitchen is large and there is everything you need to be able to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bathroom is also equipped with all the comforts, including a washing machine, hairdryer, and detergents. Also, the room from the bed is very large and the bed is really very comfortable. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this place and will definitely be back in my next stays. I personally met the owners and they were really kind, polite and also nice;) the accommodation includes a convenient indoor parking lot, really useful. Really nothing to say, 100% recommended! We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Elba ☀️

The perfect apartment for seeing Porto Azurro. Very close to everything. The building and the apartment are beautiful and Silvia was so lovely and nice. The apartment has beautiful views all the way to the sea and the restaurants and shops are literally just downstairs. I liked it very much and would love to come back! :)

We had a lovely stay at this flat. It is as stylish as it looks on the pictures, has everything one can need and was very clean. The location is ideal to explore the island and includes a parking spot. Corrado is a very attentive host (eg. there was an extra set of towels for our children) and answers any request quickly (eg. we could check in early).

Samuele is a very friendly host with great communication and very responsive to requests. Perfect apartment, very nice with a beautiful view from the terrace… I would highly recommend it
