Farmstay vacation rentals in Brazos River

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I went with my fiancé and our two dogs. Everything was perfect- we had privacy, easy access to local attractions including Westcave Preserve and Hamilton Pool, and the view is stunning. Hummingbird feeders line the porch and they are constantly being visited by the birds. Creek access requires some physical ability but is doable. The cabin itself had a master on the first floor and lofted second floor with two beds. The bathroom was clean and the refrigerator was stocked with bottled waters for us to drink. Patti and David are lovely people, and we look forward to coming back and staying again.

Incredible remote location to reset and unwind Quiet and beautiful Farm animals around (horses, goats, donkeys) but very friendly and actually fun to interact with Saw coyote one morning (not close to house) Lots of amenities on the property… hot tub, fire pits and separate small house (w AC) to read or sit Porch all around the house that was awesome for sitting and relaxing Wonderful place Will go back !!!

Came here with my partner for my birthday. We had so many plans to go do things for example going to San Antonio. We decided just to stay and relax after getting to the bunkhouse. We enjoyed the privacy, the peaceful surroundings and all of the nature. Loved the set up of the house. It was a very cozy vibe, and it was lovely to be able to take a bath and that huge tub water was definitely hot and enjoyable. Seeing all of the animals was such a plus the sunsets are breathtaking. We even got to experience a little storm and that was awesome being Stuck in the house watching a movie and just enjoying our time. Would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re wanting to get away from the city life. We would definitely come back. Also the town Boerne was very cool. Had a lot to do for it being a small town we recommend trying the huge cinnamon roll the size of your face at Richter Bakhaus. Relaxing in the pool with that view is something we miss and hope to experience again soon

This is a great place to stay. It is just as described. We would definitely stay here again.

Words can't describe this stay. Bring right on the river, kayaking, swimming, the sheep/donkey/goats and the fire pit were just what we needed to unwind and detach from city life. Incredible stay, and we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at Rockn Rowdy Ranch!! Sue was very responsive and Ethan was so kind and helpful ! We will be returning very soon. We felt so safe being alone and that’s very important being two woman. It was so peaceful and the whole experience was just wonderful. 12/10 recommend

Sandi is extremely friendly and attentive. This was our 4th year staying here and we plan on coming back for many more years to come. We are always treated like family and love all the many parts of her place. I can’t wait to visit it again.

Simple is the best way to describe the location. Country setting with easy access to so many of the small Texas towns in the area.

This property was beautiful! The treehouse was so cute and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom had stunning views. The cowboy pool on the deck was fun for the kids to dip their feet into. Pet friendly, and our doggies enjoyed the morning hike exploring. Definitely recommend!!

This place has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, just bring your clothes and food! They’ve even thought of your furry friends, providing a dog kennel with blankets and dog food trays. We especially appreciated the complimentary eggs during our visit. There’s also a great selection of Blu-ray DVDs, which the kids enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway!

Favorite place I’ve ever stayed. The house and the view was even prettier than in the photos. It was a long drive for us from Houston, but worth every minute. Only regret was not staying even longer!! We will have to come back we loved it so much. I was a little worried that it might be cramped with the other houses but it was surprisingly secluded. And I didn’t think an A frame house could be so spacious! Carleen created such a cozy and welcoming space and went above and beyond. Loved my stay!!!!!

Pictures don't do it justice . It is welll decorated and very clean! Jeff has thought of all the little details including to go coffee cups. The location" in the country" is peaceful. It's not too far from downtown and Stickyards. We went to the Pier at Augie'sand watched the sunset. Stunning! We will be back.

Tyler’s place felt like a home away from home. My family and I enjoyed the space. Everything was clean and neat. There was a nice outdoor area, very spacious. We absolutely loved the room with the pool table/ping pong table, it kept us occupied. Tyler responded immediately to any questions we asked. A great host with a great bnb. I would recommend Tyler’s place to anyone, if I ever need a rental in this area again I would love to book with Tyler.

We have stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. It’s private, peaceful, luxurious, and beautiful. All the benefits of being out in the hill country but close enough to all the fun stuff in Fredericksburg. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We visited Scarlett’s place on a Saturday-Monday to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and we fell in love with this peaceful home. We truly felt like it was a home away from home. Our kids loved the alpacas, sheep and goats on the property and it was extremely helpful that Scarlett had more feed delivered for us the next day so we can continue the fun of feeding the animals! Loved everything about our trip! We don’t live too far away so we will be back often!

Where to begin? Deanna and David were the most gracious and kind hearted people, let alone hosts, we have ever come across. We wanted a peaceful retreat for our family to reset, it we couldn’t have imagined a more positive experience. The house was immaculate, yet perfectly quaint down to every detail. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even gifted our 4 year son some mud boots when they found out we forgot to bring some. They showed us around and shared their fresh honey from the bee hives, which was amazing! We even got to collect fresh eggs every day for breakfast! We were able to create lasting memories watching our son enjoy the zip line, rope swing, huge yard to run around in, hit balls off the tee, play with his water toys, play in the mud, and simply be a boy. As a family we were able to enjoy dinner around the table every night, watch rain storms together, do our daily devotionals every morning on the front porch. Honestly, picture perfect

Tammy was incredible when it came to accommodation, we showed up late and made sure that everything was perfect when we arrived. It is so secluded and really ensured that we had everything we needed. We loved everything about this location and just the peace that came with knowing that we were taken care of was incredible! An absolute gem to stay at!

The river is beautiful! Can spend all day walking down it and watching the fish and large variety of birds! A really great spot for skipping rocks and just enjoying nature!

Peaceful and tranquil stay! The cabin had everything we needed. Excellent instructions and recommendations from host! Favorite part - comfy beds and the garden turtles that were at the pond behind the house. We’ll be back!

Lovely home! Exactly as pictured. The availability of two homes on the same property allowed us to visit with family that we do not get to visit with often. The whole family enjoyed fishing at the catch and release pond. Even the five-year-old left with a fun memory of catching fish. Everyone enjoyed feeding the donkeys and the ducks. Bird watching was spectacular. Great location, next to the Park 31 event venue. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy to relax and kick back. Beautiful scenery and critters. Brightest stars!! Just what you would expect in the country! Quick drive to Round Top for shopping and dining. Fun little town. Will go back in the fall for foliage and fireplace! Thanks for the hospitality and experience of feeding your menagerie!!

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cottage. The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful! The sweet animals that live on both sides of the cottage came right out to greet us when we arrived. Everything inside was exactly like described. Very clean and cozy. Josh was a wonderful host! Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we are in town!!
