Lovely place that is tucked away behind a neighborhood and quiet

Rebecca is a lovely host was responded quickly from my initial inquiry to follow up questions. Check in was easy and the space was cozy, clean, peaceful, and my favorite part was getting to feed the cows. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning for a visit.

This is our second stay at Lesli’s, and it certainly won’t be our last! The tiny house (which was more than enough room for my husband and me) was perfect. It was comfortable, well-appointed, and so clean! There were so many thoughtful touches throughout. It was like staying with a good friend! The location was sublime. Private and quiet — and SO peaceful. The sunsets are unbelievable! I wish we had been able to take advantage of the pool and the fire pit (we were so busy that we ran out of time), but we definite will next time! Lesli is one of the best hosts we’ve encountered. She is proactive, thoughtful, and a great communicator! I cannot recommend the tiny house (or any of Lesli’s properties) highly enough!!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Just the weekend getaway my fiance and I were looking for! Kevin & Debra were fantastic, the cabin was super cool, the property was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend.

This was our sixth stay at one of Cheryl’s river houses, and it was just as wonderful as always! Peaceful mornings on the back porch, watching the wildlife, were the perfect escape. My girls had a blast fishing, and I was able to hop on a Zoom meeting with no Wi-Fi issues at all. We never miss a stop at Jo Momma’s—great burgers and under 10 minutes away. Dinner at TJ’s @ The Old Forge in Bandera was delicious (the white gravy is a must!), and Out of the Way Café remains a favorite. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I’m hooked on the chicken tenders and sandwich. Can’t wait for visit #7!

My wife and I took a short vacation away from our kids at Shelly's cabin and it was beautiful, quiet, and restorative. Exactly what we were looking for. The views of the lake are amazing and we spent hours sitting on the screened-in porch.

What a beautiful place for a getaway! It’s very peaceful and the cabins are so cozy. There were thunderstorms the night we stayed at the cabin and we actually enjoyed watching the lightning from the big window. We also saw deer walk by and our dogs loved watching them from the cabin. Big thank you for clear instructions from the host and for being pet-friendly!

If you're looking for a peaceful and unique getaway, this is definitely it! It was amazing to see the stars again after living in the city for too long. We loved the nearby Johnson City, it had great food options and we even preferred it to the larger Marble Falls and Fredericksburg. Johnson City Coffee should NOT be missed! The wildlife was fun to see and the wildflowers were really putting on a show. The home had everything we needed for our weekend. The rooftop tub was our favorite! Our only request would be an umbrella for shade when taking an afternoon dip to cool down.

The airbnb was cozy, clean, pretty and view was great. Only issue was the really steep driveway. You could tell a lot of cars burned rubber trying to get out of driveway vs hitting the solid rocks that blocked going down the hill. Parked across the street in empty lot to not have to fight with driveway.

This place has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, just bring your clothes and food! They’ve even thought of your furry friends, providing a dog kennel with blankets and dog food trays. We especially appreciated the complimentary eggs during our visit. There’s also a great selection of Blu-ray DVDs, which the kids enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway!

Such a serene, beautiful location and place. Loved the surroundings and the wildlife, from the baby goat across the street that let out a welcome cry when I was opening the gate to the roadrunners that entertained us the morning we were leaving. I can’t imagine a more peaceful country setting. Absolutely loved the peace and the privacy but still close to town and enjoyed exploring Homestead Heritage across the street including a delicious meal at Cafe Homestead but the pricing was a little more there than I expected, just a warning to those who might be on a tight budget. I had a little issue getting inside which I blame on my rushing around the day I arrived and not reading the instructions clearly. No issues unlocking but totally missed that it was a sliding door. 🤦🏻‍♀️ - despite my own goof, Taylor responded quickly. A great place to stay and would love to stay again! Would recommend to anyone!

We loved staying here and definitely will be staying again next time we stop in Waco.

The Scenic Hills Getaway is a BEAUTIFUL peaceful cabin overlooking a valley of breathtaking nature! Bitch was an AMAZING host, responsive, proactive, and very friendly. The cabin, itself, was very clean, comfortable, and filled with the helpful amenities and notebook with information on places to visit, things to do and recommendations to some great eats! We totally recommend The Scenic Hills Getaway!

The deck hammock and location of this home is amazing, it really showed a different side to Texas with real mountain feels and views. It definitely feels like you’re on an out of state vacation. Enjoyed our stay!

Well equipped cottage with approx 1/4 acre backyard about 25 feet from the owners home. Best suited to two, the space is small but clean, modern, private, and inviting. The large porch with lake view and grill is a great place to hang out. We enjoyed the kayaks. Very pleasant stay. We chose the cottage bc it is one of the rare rentals that allows pets, doesn't have a laundry list of additional pet restrictions, is waterfront, and as an added bonus- doesn't charge a cleaning fee. While searching, we found that many who advertise pet friendly actually include a long list of exceptions that meant they would not accommodate most pets. I do mean well beyond common sense pet etiquette i.e. threatening to charge astronomical fees if pet hair is discovered anywhere. Such restrictions are stressful to those who travel with pets and we are grateful to hosts who make vacations possible for our whole family. We could tell that they, too, were animal lovers and that made ALL of us feel welcome!

My husband and I adored this B&B! The inside had everything we needed and was very comfortable, and it was more than just a place to sleep. The environment was perfect to relax and enjoy each other’s company, but also close enough to all Fredericksburg had to offer. We will definitely be back!

This tiny home was absolutely amazing. It was so quiet and cozy, of course you heard all the animals, but it was relaxing. Sitting on the patio watching the sun go down was a perfect way to end a long day. Also, feeding the cats was divine. They greet you as soon as you arrive. Absolutely recommend staying here. It was perfect. Thank you Spencer and Michelle. ❤️

The cabin is beautiful and set in a great location. It’s very clean and well supplied. Very detailed instructions were available. If I had a complaint it would be the lock box for the key, it took about 15 minutes to get it open and when we left we were unable to lock it at all. Otherwise a perfect getaway.

Such a great stay! Super clean, chill vibe, and the pool was perfect. Exactly what we needed to relax. Would totally come back!
