Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wrightsville Beach

Excellent location, beautiful, well appointed home with outdoor deck access from virtually every room, gorgeous views. Very clean and spacious - perfect for multifamily or multigenerational get togethers. Lovely that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. Elevator is a huge added bonus for initial unload and packing up. Very well stocked kitchen with cooking equipment, utensils and ample storage. Easy to get to Wilmington which is a great town to explore. Emily is a terrific host who is very accessible and kind. Cannot recommend Emily or her beautiful home more highly! Thank you Emily!!!

Loved the location. I wasn't sure about everyone in our group liking being so close to the "hubbub", but that ended up being what something we really liked about the place. Lots of things to do that are walkable. Shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, a beautiful walkway along the intracoastal waterway, a kids playground... And the view can't be beat! Well stocked kitchen- like truly everything you could possibly need. Lots of seating on the deck. All the things! Mom was over the moon about her 90th birthday celebration.

We loved our stay at Hydrangea House! It’s clean and homey, in a safe neighborhood with beautiful surroundings, and a short drive from lots of amazing restaurants and things to do. Rachel was a kind and responsive host who gave great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Enjoyed my three day getaway. Our stay was very peaceful! The cottage was cute and cozy. The Hosts were great as well! They made sure we had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

Julia’s cottage is PERFECTION! I would move in if I could. Very thoughtfully appointed- nothing was missing that I needed. The bed is very comfortable, and the AC plus ceiling fan ensures perfect comfort. The desk in front of the gorgeous window was great as was the high speed internet. The kitchen had everything I needed, and Julia’s information booklet had great restaurant/entertainment/shopping ideas. So much light in the cottage with all the windows- it felt like a treehouse almost. And the bathtub was awesome! Nice to take a soak after a long day at Kure Beach.

This was our first Airbnb experience since selling our timeshare last year. Andres & Emily made everything easy! Great check in and check out instructions. The condo was very clean, with all of the amenities they listed in their description. The bed was clean and comfortable and the living room was nicely decorated with a couch, coffee table and television. Highly recommend eating at Island Burger and Pops Diner, which are nearby. The boardwalk was only 2 blocks over. I also found a beautiful starfish necklace (I've been looking for a nice one for awhile) at a boutique called Salty Chic...very cool store located in the Publix shopping center. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would also highly recommend Andres And Emily's condo, especially for a couple.

The Seahorse Castle was perfect for 2! Clean, plenty of dishes and kitchen must haves, a soakable sized tub, decorated with beachy vibes, and just as described. If you have 4x4 I recommend Fort Fisher to drive out and set up on the beach. We had an amazing time, ate good food, heard live music, went to CB market around the lake Saturday morning, and can’t wait to return! Jeanette’s place will always be special to us, we got engaged! 💕 Kelly & Pauly

Great place! The location was fabulous. The space was nicely decorated and beautifully maintained.

Overall, this was a great experience. She had clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was a short walk from the beach and it was cute and cozy!

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. This was the cutest and most comfortable place to stay. Had everything we needed and was so close to everything we wanted to do. Very walkable location with Cape Fear river view. Off-site parking was easy and convenient. Would stay here again and again....

This Airbnb has so much charm and character! The kitchen was stocked with all the spices and condiments we needed, especially for cooking seafood. There are so many little activities included. For example; a sound system, card games, and outdoor equipment (chairs, skim board, shovel). Sam is a wonderful host, very attentive. One evening, a small situation came up and he responded to our message immediately. In fact, he showed up to help at 11 pm! We truly enjoyed our stay. Wrightsville is such a special place. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in town!

We absolutely loved our stay! Lisa is a great host and she made us feel very welcomed! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything you could possibly need during your stay, from various tea flavors to beach chairs. The area is very quiet and beautiful, only a short drive to historic downtown and about 15 minutes to Wrightsville Beach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Wilmington! This place was beautiful! Fort Fisher is literally right next door! The place was clean,beautiful, quiet and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, the pool was well kept, and The view was hard to leave. Will be back. 🫶🏻

Awesome place! It looked exactly like the pictures. It’s also in close proximity to a lot of things. Everything was clean and in good condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

The location is amazing! Gorgeous views and walking distance to so many popular spots downtown. The space was also VERY clean and cozy! Corey communicated everything with us and made check in and check out a breeze. This was a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. It is just 1 block off the beach with shopping, bars and a grocery store just steps away. The bridge to go into Wilmington was very close and convenient. I was so impressed with everything that was stocked for us...extensive kitchen utensils, a full coffee/tea bar, paper towels, cooler, beach chairs/towels, a bag of ice, etc. We had everything we needed. The shower was wonderful. It was very clean, and communication was great. The outdoor deck was fantastic. We spent most of our time there. I highly recommend!

Wonderful week at Carolina Beach. Ryan’s condo was spotless and the amenities were exceptional. The location is perfect for sun bathing or a quick walk to shops, restaurants and the Boardwalk. The wrap around porch with multiple seating areas was perfect - you could always find a place in the shade or sun no matter what time of day. Sunrises just off the deck if you’re up early were serene and peaceful. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Ryan even left a pretty substantial ‘starter kit’ of coffee. snacks and toiletries to make the stay even easier. We rented 4 separate places for a family gathering and everyone agreed that this condo had the best space inside and out. Even saying they would try to book this condo on their next trip back. We rented 2 umbrellas and surfboard for the week and they were delivered and set up on the beach daily for us. There are no beach chairs at the rental - so you are on your own for that service. Thank you Ryan - great rental experience!

For being a last minute trip to Wrightsville beach, Matthew made it easy with his excellent communication and instructions. The place is centrally located, an easy walk to coffee, restaurants and bars. The views of the beach/ocean are perfect and the condo was very clean. If you are looking for a place to stay in Wrightsville I'd recommed staying at Matthew's place.
