Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wrightsville Beach

This was our first Airbnb experience since selling our timeshare last year. Andres & Emily made everything easy! Great check in and check out instructions. The condo was very clean, with all of the amenities they listed in their description. The bed was clean and comfortable and the living room was nicely decorated with a couch, coffee table and television. Highly recommend eating at Island Burger and Pops Diner, which are nearby. The boardwalk was only 2 blocks over. I also found a beautiful starfish necklace (I've been looking for a nice one for awhile) at a boutique called Salty Chic...very cool store located in the Publix shopping center. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would also highly recommend Andres And Emily's condo, especially for a couple.

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Location was perfect Easy beach access and beautiful view!! Definitely coming back!

We had a great week long vacation! The pool was a hit with the kids, the house was clean and big enough for the two families who vacationed together. Diana was wonderful and responsive. I would absolutely stay again!

David and Kris were terrific hosts! They went out of their way to keep us informed of fun events happening around the island, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first time to BHI. The unit is just as pictured and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is expertly organized and has full array of cookware. The location is central on the island, making it a quick ride to the market, beach, club, etc. The surrounding live oaks and foliage are beautiful. I would definitely recommend! We will be back.

Very nice place to stay. Clean and had everything needed to cook if you chose to. Enjoyed sitting on the balconies in the morning and evening. Appreciate that it was a pet free space. Just be prepared to conquer the steps multiple times a day.

Darlene was a fantastic host! She communicated quickly when I had any questions. Her house was probably one of the best stocked AirBnBs that we've stayed at. The pool was so private, I knew we had neighbors, but could not see them. The house was perfect for our family! We loved Carolina Beach!

5 Star stay for long weekend. Pictures display a truly classy comfy townhouse that smells lovely and has everything you need. Bedrooms are spacious and linens are very comfortable. Perfect home with perfect location to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Easy and clear instructions for check in and check out. Thank you John and Katie for our enjoyable experience. Absolutely loved the space. The dock was our favorite thing. We used it from sunrise to sunset. It was great for watching the local wildlife first thing in the morning while enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The short walk to the beach was so convenient. The place was clean and felt very welcoming. We all loved it.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. We walked on the beach to the boardwalk at night and it was perfect! Our kids loved having direct access to the beach to go out and spend endless hours in the ocean. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

This was our second stay and we will be back! The location is amazing. Bob is extremely communicative and the condo has amazing river views at a fair rate. Add in the condo amenities and included parking and there is no reason to stay anywhere else on the riverwalk. We can’t wait to come back!

We have visited Robs place several times and we enjoy staying there..It is clean and out the back door, you are at the beach..Close to restaurants..Rob is a great host..We will be making reservations again soon..We definitely recommend staying there..

Tim’s place was exactly what I needed and I felt very fortunate to be able to get some dates there in June because it is beach time. I was able to enjoy Wilmington with my daughter and relax with my dog which was everything I was looking and hoping for! My dog Max also give’s Tim’s place a great rating! He felt at home right away! Time was present, neighborly and very responsive. I am hoping to go back in December!

Overall, the place was well kept and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful! The neighbor was very friendly as well! I recommend following the instructions in the book for easy beach access which is a short walk! Great place, great host really enjoyed our time there! Will book again

This is best stay I’ve had at an Airbnb. Comfortable, quiet, safe for traveling alone, and hosts were just the best. Goldie the cat , who would’ve stayed out my way had I not enticed him with scritches and a few treats, was an added bonus for me. I booked a second consecutive week!

Beautiful view and great access to the beach. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Not far from the market, the BHI Club the harbor, or East Beach. Just right. . .

We had a great stay! The view was beautiful, the beach was just steps away, and we spent quite a bit of time on the balcony and watching the fireworks from the balcony on Thursday night was also nice. The bed was comfy, the AC worked great, and the Smart TVs with WiFi were a nice touch. The gated community felt safe, and the beach setup with chairs, umbrella, and table was such a nice perk! A couple of minor issues — the microwave didn’t work, and there weren’t many cleaning supplies or hangers. Also, we didn’t get a reply through the app when we reached out. Still, overall a wonderful place to relax, and we’d definitely stay again!

We have stayed here multiple times and as always every aspect of the stay was great. Renee is an absolute awesome host ready, willing and able to make your stay the very best it can be. Our group of 8 had a lovely stay. The kitchen and living spaces were open, comfortable, and a great place to hang out esp. for a large group. The beds were comfortable, and the area surrounding the house was walkable and had relaxing nature. There were a couple hiccups we ran into such as the golf carts dying at 40% or the shower head light in the master being out. Other than that, our family had a fantastic stay at Scott’s place and recommend it for your trip to Bald Head!

Was just the peaceful getaway that we all needed. I came down with my daughters and was my grand daughters first beach trip and we were not disappointed, highly recommend

The property location was SO convenient - steps from the beach, walkable to restaurants and shops, and came with all the things needed when going to and from the beach (chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, hose to wash fee, etc.). We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck looking out at the beach while we ate or read a book or just talked. The dogs loved the place too and we appreciated that the couch was covered for them to lay on and relax. While the bathrooms are small, the water pressure was great and everything worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed to cook and eat in. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and not onerous. I loved having the sliding door from the bedroom to the back deck and being able to look out at the ocean while laying in bed. The hosts were both super responsive with any questions we had. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I spent six days at Renee’s home along with our son and two fur babies. The house is beautiful, very clean, and spacious inside. The pictures are very accurate. I loved the views from the two porches in the two king bedrooms. The pond and garden views are awesome along with the beautiful sunsets. Loved the pretty flowers around the patio area. Everything I needed in the house was available, easy to locate, and well stocked. Renee is a very responsive and helpful Host. She was quick to resolve a couple of issues that came up during our stay. Our stay at Renee’s house was so restful and relaxing. We hope to stay again the next time we visit the area. Thanks Renee for sharing your beautiful home.

Fun in the sun. Jeanette was the best hostess we arrived and she gave us a tour of the place with welcome cocktails. The view and location was amazing just take a short walk to the beach.
