Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wrightsville Beach

Fantastic place, plenty of room for 7 of us in town for a wedding. Walk out the front door and you’re on the short path to the beach, can see the ocean from the deck. Nicely appointed, not overly stuffed with Knick knacks like some places can be. Beds very comfortable, new kitchen, nice deck furniture. Would definitely rent agai

Vickie was a wonderful host, very responsive & proactive, making sure we had what we needed to enjoy our time there. The place is nicely decorated & the beds comfortable to sleep in. Easy to drive downtown & to the area beaches.

We loved everything about the home and location. The pool table and river brought a lot of laughs and memories made. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. We had an amazing time and thankful for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Michael and Orsi’s house. The house was perfect for the two of us and our pup, but it would also comfortably fit a few couples or a family. It takes less than two minutes to walk to the beach and you can easily walk or ride bikes to nearby bars and restaurants in WB. The house is very clean, couch and beds are comfy, appliances all in perfect working order. We also love the deck and hammock! Literally the only thing that we wish the house had is a bigger/fenced yard, but that is uncommon for the area. Michael and Orsi are very responsive and kind, which we greatly appreciate. We hope to keep coming back every year!

This air bnb was great for our stay. The house itself was awesome and the beds were really comfortable. The neighborhood was fine driving distance to all things, but did not feel the safest walking home at night. All in all it was a good place to stay and the house itself had everything you could need when staying away from home. Kyler was quick to respond when our lock code wasn't working, and we had the problem solved in less than 5 minutes, so that was much appreciated.

The place was perfect in every aspect: The location, size, accommodations, amenities, and proximity to the areas we frequented. For our tennis group, the total cost was less than what a hotel would have cost, which is historically where we used to stay. This experience, summarized by our ability to share one place, travel together, have meals together, watch TV together, and have the large space to spread out was absolutely fantastic. The experience was positive any which way you look at it. On top of that, Jana (and her husband) were super hosts with super friendly communication. We wish we had the opportunity to meet them in person, but..............maybe this time next year :-).

Fantastic stay for a family gathering. Perfect location on the bay with the best deck by far, great view and 3 minutes away from one of the best beaches. House has all the amenities you can wish for: water sports equipment, kitchen is well stocked so you can enjoy real cooking and terrace has lots of chairs and tables. Outdoors are very spacious and allow multi generations to feel happy. Very responsive host and clear instructions. We come again! Thank you

Had a wonderful stay! Melissa was incredibly friendly and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect—just a short drive to the beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. I stayed in the airbnb for a little under a month and it was incredible!

Our stay was just the getaway we needed! Lary’s place was extremely clean and comfortable! the outdoor space and landscaping were spectacular, it felt like being at a resort. the neighborhood was quite and relaxing, however not walkable to town as there are not many side walks. definitely rent a bike or a golf cart!

This condo provided a great stay for my family in Carolina Beach. the neighborhood was quiet and had very close beach access. With just a short drive to the boardwalk it proved to be a great location. The condo was spacious and clean. The instructions provided by Jody were easy to follow.

We booked for a weekend trip to explore Wilmington and have a get away! Our trip was great as the airbnb was conveniently minutes to downtown, Ubers were easy to book. We plan on staying here yearly! It’s so nice to find great hosts who were very accommodating and responsive.

An adorable beach bungalow perfect for a couple's getaway! Very clean and with all the amenities you could need for a trip to Oak Island. Short walk to the beach via public access point, and great restaurants and coffee shop - all within walking distance. Hot tub is a nice added feature! 1000 characters can’t capture the immaculate & pristinely styled Bella Vita, which is perfectly located oceanfront with a private walkover/shower, & a short stroll from vibrant Carolina Beach Boardwalk (don’t miss nightly live music & a bag of Britt’s Donuts!) It is also near restaurants, groceries, & anything else you need for your time at the beach! If you like to cook, the beautiful kitchen is spacious & well appointed, & there are multiple areas for service & eating! From the huge main living area you will enjoy gorgeous ocean views & tons of natural light, with generous space & multiple gathering areas, which make it both cozy & wide open all at the same time! The vast master bedroom/bath is a showstopper, & all 3 bedrooms have comfy beds, ample storage, & private bathrooms, plus gorgeous views from 2 balconies, perfect for watching sunrises, a rainstorm, or summer fireworks at the Boardwalk. The pictures are gorgeous, yet they don’t do this seaside home justice! We WILL be back!

John and his co-hosts were amazing! Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed as family. They really went above and beyond in every aspect. The place was cleaned to perfection and there was so much to do! We were able to schedule an animal tour the same day, grill outside using their supplies and really relax as much as possible. Our room featured a private balcony and bathroom, but really the entire property should be highlighted. The hosts recommended beaches and restaurants for us to enjoy, and as we were checking out, John let us know that he was preparing breakfast for us as well! We were able to leave this amazing place with a full belly, homegrown fruits and veggies, eggs, and great memories. We will be back to visit for sure. Thanks again John B., John M, and Diana.

Words can’t express how much I enjoyed staying at John’s place. It was an amazing experience we will NEVER forget. It was by far my favorite bnb and I’ve stayed at a couple of Airbnbs. It’s close to the beach but it didn’t really matter because we wanted to spend all our time on his property. It was clean and there’s a ton of rooms in the villa! It is decorated so nice and the exotic animal farm he has is amazing! We stayed during the 4th of July and he had food waiting for us in their beautiful outside kitchen when we got back! You won’t want to leave the property. The pool was great and the rooms and bathrooms are so clean! I can’t wait to stay at their place again! I loved every second and they were all extremely responsive. They had fresh eggs and tomatoes that I brought home. Book your stay! You won’t regret it.

I decided last minute that I needed a getaway with some relaxation and an stress-free time. John’s place popped up to the top of the results list. I had never booked anything where you shared space but I decided to give it a try because of the good reviews and the fact that my husband’s name was John. I just felt like it was ok and safe. I’m glad I decided to try it. Both John’s and Diana were super sweet and so helpful.The house is beautiful.The rooms have top of the line bedding and beautiful decor. The kitchen was stocked with some food and John cooked several times for people. I’ve never had that at a place before so that was so helpful on saving some money with eating out. Plus they had garden tomatoes so I enjoyed like 10 tomato sandwiches.The animal tour was so cool. It was amazing to me to see how many animals , especially birds. It was really impressive; feeding the lemurs lollipops & holding the baby wallaby, Casper, was really cool.i highly recommend!! I will be back. Thanks

Honestly an amazing experience, even when you see the price you get the experience to match, in the best of ways. An amazing room with a fantastic shower and John was extremely friendly the entire time! There was a great welcome book with clear instructions. we had a great breakfast with farm fresh eggs provided by the host. The animals were beautiful and we loved the tour that was included.
