Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable 8-night stay here, and I can’t imagine a more perfect home in which to experience the beauty of Bologna. The loggia overlooking a serene courtyard feels like a movie set, with lovely music from the local conservatory wafting through the air against the backdrop of medieval towers that have stood for centuries. It’s truly a one-of-kind setting. Some aspects that I especially valued that may not have been mentioned in other reviews: The kitchen is a joy - bright, airy with windows on two sides, and very thoughtfully equipped - which is not always the case in rentals. There is an entire shelf full of travel guides, maps, info on local attractions and regional destinations, even an Italian phrasebook. Way beyond anything I’d expect and so very helpful- which perfectly describes Gabriele as a host. He was fantastic; excellent communication, flexible with arrival, incredibly welcoming, and just a kindhearted person. Thank you so much, Gabriele!

Amazing place in Lake como. A little ways away from the more popular towns but a very charming and quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the amazing view and infinity pool view which was incredible. I would definitely stay again.

A Memorable Stay on Isola Bella Spending the day on Isola Bella was a truly memorable experience. The setting is steeped in history and natural beauty, and staying on the island felt like a quiet adventure in itself. From the serene views of Lake Maggiore to the timeless charm of the surroundings, everything contributed to a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. An ideal retreat for anyone seeking a unique and enriching escape.

This is the most special villa and there is not a better location. Close to the pier, beaches and amazing restaurants. We truly enjoyed the balcony each night after a long day of sightseeing. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful place!

Super séjour à la gabbia del grillo À proximité del duomo !! Nous venions avec un petit et l’équipement etait super ! Lit et chaise bébé ainsi qu’une petite baignoire dans la douche , ils nous ont également permis de rester un petit plus tard pour la sieste de notre bébé. Ils sont à l’écoute des visiteurs. L’appartement est bien équipé et la literie confortable. Petit bémol sur l’oubli de notre chargeur de téléphone qui n’aurait pas été retrouvé. On recommande ce logement et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

A short but lovely stay in Vico Equense. Angela's AirBnB was perfect with its location being close and easily accessible to everything we needed. The place itself was spotless, has plenty of room for two people, and was very comfortable to spend a couple of nights. Angela met us on arrival and spent some time giving us a run down of the local and wider areas and recommendations for places to go.

We stayed at Giuseppe's place for 3 weeks in Cefalú with our 5 and 2 year old. Giuseppe is so kind and welcoming. What a dream it was to live in the medieval laundry. Sure, a building that is so old is going to have some quirks, mainly temperature control when it's getting hotter. There is a portable ac unit that can help, but it's a hoss to set up... I'm sure Giuseppe would help you out with it but we didn't really need it except one night. Trick is to keep everything shut during the day and probably night too unless the temperature is perfect outside. The town is soooooo kid friendly. It was the perfect spot for us to plop and enjoy the beach with the kids. If you have younger kids definitely treat yourself to a babysitter so you can explore the museum, the cathedral, and hike. The calmer beach is out the door to the left through the photogenic portal about a 2 minute walk. There's a juice spot & really good sandwich shop on the way. Shoot I've run out of space. We loved Cefalú.

We wanted a home away from home as we were visiting the area for a wedding being held at Cape Fear Winery and this place didn’t disappoint. Plenty of space, very clean, and the property is beautifully placed right on the lake. Enjoyed coffee in the morning by the lake and bonfire in the evening under the stars. Perfect!

We had a wonderful two night stay in Modica at Giuseppe’s place! Pictures and description don’t do the place justice - it is absolutely gorgeous. Bed was extremely comfortable and peaceful surroundings. Close enough to walk to everything Modica has to offer and close to the bus routes. We had tea on the balcony and the house had all the amenities required. We arrived by train and it took less than 15 minutes to get there. Google maps took us an awkward route round many stairs with our big suitcase so maybe written/picture instructions may have avoided this as there was definitely an easier route we discovered. We were grateful to be able to drop off our luggage early. Thanks again to Giuseppe, I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Modica.

We LOVED staying here. We visited from out of town with our 2 year old and 5 month old. They truly thought of everything for the kids. There’s tons of toys, kids tables/chairs, kid plates/utensils/cups, and even a full crib with a rocking chair and sound machine! It made our lives so much easier. I was really nervous about being on the water with a 2 year old but there was a fence enclosing the whole backyard that was very secure. We will absolutely be back!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was perfect. The location being tucked in the woods while still next to the lake is unbeatable. Hottub is a plus and having a dedicated boat dock made for a great week at the lake. Would definitely go back.

We had an amazing stay at ‘Olive’, at the Big House. Firstly arrival and check in was super smooth with clear instructions. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and maintained. So spotlessly clean and at the same time felt really homely. And the views are stunning! The hosts were really friendly and helpful; great communication and recommended some great local spots. Overall we found it a really peaceful escape. It’s also straightforward to get to other, busier towns with restaurants etc, by local transport during the day. We loved our time there and will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bali Bungalow! The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The king bed was super cozy with a memory foam mattress, and the ultra-fast WiFi and Netflix-ready TV made rainy evenings a breeze. Loved the location—tucked away yet close to everything. The hot tub was a great bonus after a day of exploring. The hosts clearly put care into every detail. Highly recommend for a relaxing couples’ escape!

Hank's home was so beautiful - both the property and its location on the lake made for a stunning place to relax with friends. We loved the provided kayaks and foosball table. Would highly recommend!

Absolute great place to stay on the Island. Place was as described in the posting, and Nancy was very responsive.

The home was very spacious provided lots of essentials felt like home everyone loved it! We were mainly outside in the pool which we all had fun in it lots of pool toys too and good seating for our bbq! Kelly is such a wonderful host any questions we had she helped us. It was definitely a home away from home.

Rob and Brenda’s place was the perfect place to stay for a downtown KC getaway. You can’t beat the location, and the views from the apartment are great. Although check in was somewhat complicated (like any downtown apartment would be), Brenda and Rob had very clear instructions with photos so we were able to get in seamlessly. Would stay here again!

The host was quick to respond to all correspondence. The home was very clean and in an excellent location. I will definitely be saving this listing for possible future trips.

We had the best time at this location. We are big on walking around - in fact, we only Uber from the airport then are on foot past that. Despite the heat being out of the ordinary while we were there, we loved walking from spot to spot. It's about a 15 minute walk to some shops in downtown Golden - and we loved every minute of the walk. We enjoyed watching the bunnies in our yard and other people's yards on our walk in. The spot itself? Amazing. I think it's even better than photos. My husband and I typically pack our own inflatable pillows because every hotel, airbnb, VRBO, etc has the worst pillows. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to unpack our pillows for this spot. This is quite literally a first for us. The home was clean - shoes off is how we like our home so it was perfect for us. There was a book of recommendations of which we hit many during our three night stay. We joked about moving permanently - we loved it so much. Highly recommend!

Loved every minute of my stay. It was secluded and full of wildlife, just like I wanted. The pool and hot tub were another bonus. We especially liked that there were two master suites. The kitchen/living room area was gorgeous with a high vaulted ceiling and windows/doors galore! I would highly recommend this property if you want a complete getaway.
