Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Terceira Island

Estuvimos muy a gusto, estaba todo como nuevo, una urbanización super tranquila, todo muy limpio. La cocina tenía de todo para poder cocinar. La familia de Henrique muy atentos en todo momento y muy agradables. Sin duda volveríamos otra vez. Lo recomiendo a quien quiera pasar unos días tranquilos.

We had a wonderful time. The people in the village are very friendly. And because of the festival we enjoyed the local entertainment complete with a front row seat to a bull fight Out in front of the house!

We had a fantastic stay. Host met us at the property and got us situated. He gave us great recommendations for food and activities. Everything is walkable from the house. Will definitely be back again.

Apartamento típico con mucho encanto, con muebles antiguos restaurados y todos los detalles muy cuidados. Se nota que gan puesto cariño en la decoración. Cocina con todos los utensilios necesarios, aceite, sal… Incluso nos dejaron algo de desayuno y un detalle de bienvenida que se agradece mucho. Zona exterior con tumbonas y mesas ideal para desayunar o cenar, común con el alojamiento inferior pero estuvimos solos todos los días. Lo único malo es que se escucha el ruido de los coches al pasar por la noche, pero aún así repetiría otra vez la estancia en el alojamiento de Massimo y Antonella. Gracias por todo!

The location at Harald's is spot on. Everything is as in the pictures. The area is quiet, like the entire island. Close to both the east and the west. The house is clean and well-maintained. Excellent contact with the host before, during and after the stay.

Teresa’s house in the Azores is an absolute must-visit! Not only is the house spotless and cozy, but Teresa herself is one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever met. When it started raining, she went above and beyond by personally driving me to a restaurant in her cool classic truck, and even offered to drop me at the airport. Her hospitality is unmatched, and staying at her Airbnb felt more like visiting a friend. If you get the chance to stay at her place, don’t hesitate—book it! You’ll have an amazing experience with a truly special host.

This place was fantastic from booking all the way to check out. The hosts were extremely helpful, responsive, and they truly wanted us to have a great vacation, communicating with us right after we booked with the best local restaurants, tips and tricks, and places to visit. The house itself was extremely well maintained, beautifully updated while keeping the old school character and charm, and plenty spacious for my family to comfortably stay. It was very close to everything, walkable from the city center, restaurants, and tourist locations. I would argue the terrace area up the driveway has the best view in the whole city and we spent some time up there just relaxing and admiring the view. Perfect place to unwind and have a night cap while talking about the days adventures. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island!

Christine was an amazing host and the house was perfect. Highlights for me were the parking that was always available and the cleanliness throughout. I hope to stay here again next time I visit family in Villa Nova.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping,beaches and the harbor. The apartment is huge and has a lot of details and charm.

le logement est très facile à trouver, autant en voiture qu'à pied, proche de l'aéroport de Lajes. Un appartement simple et agréable et une très bonne literie, ce qui est pas fréquent. Merci à José pour sont acceuil et sa disponibilité.

O apartamento é extremamente limpo. Tudo é novo. Não falta nada na casa e a cozinha está equipada com tudo. A cama é muito boa. A rua é muito calma e a localização é excelente. De noite é raro passar um carro na rua, mas quando passam, e como a rua é de paralelo, no silêncio da noite nota-se algum barulho. Para prevenir não serem acordados, aconselho a usarem tampões no ouvidos. Nada de complicado :) O Tiago é muito amável e responde a todas as questões prontamente. Recomendo vivamente este apartamento. Obrigado Tiago pelos bolinhos e compotas :)

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Angra, avec une agréable terrasse qui donne sur les toits (comme sur les photos). L'une des deux chambres est spacieuse et confortable, l'autre plus petite avec l'un des matelas assez dur. Victor et sa famille ont été très réactifs et aidants quand nécessaire. Je recommande vivement.

I had a wonderful stay at the ground-floor apartment of Carlos and Carolina. They were both very welcoming and came out to greet me despite my very late arrival! There was a key-safe box there which I could have used if they had not been able to meet me. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was spacious off-street parking and a lovely outside space with a fabulous view. They kept in contact during my stay to check whether I needed anything or wanted recommendations. Carolina even kindly offered to translate for me on her day off when I was trying to arrange with a priest to see a church of interest that was closed due to renovation. Biscoitos itself is unique and beautiful - you will not regret coming here for a holiday.

Jose et Carla sont très gentils et accueillants, ils nous ont même donné de quoi faire notre petit déjeuner ! Rien ne manque tout est parfait ! Nous ne manquerons pas d’en faire l’éloge ! Le logement est spacieux et très bien tenu , décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l’emplacement est magnifique , au calme et la vue depuis la terrasse est splendide.

Das Apartment ist sehr modern und geräumig, ausgestattet mit einer kleinen, aber funktionalen Küchenzeile. Alles ist durchdacht und praktisch eingerichtet. Ein Highlight ist die kleine Terrasse, von der aus man einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt und den Atlantik genießen kann. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Beachte aber, der Weg von der Stadt zum Apartment ist ziemlich steil, für manche vielleicht etwas anstrengend. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und können das Apartment nur weiterempfehlen!

Tudo perfeito. Estado do apartamento muito bom, cozinha moderna equipada com tudo o que é necessário, zona exterior com 2 frentes sendo a vista sobre Angra muito agradável. Estado de limpeza geral irrepreensível! Entrada independente mas possibilidade de acesso a todas as zonas do Angra+: sala polivalente, piscina aquecida, jardim... A resposta foi sempre muito rápida às nossas dúvidas. Das melhores experiencias em alojamentos Airbnb até hoje ! Parabéns !

Lovely place in Terceira! My mom, sister and I were visiting and loved the spacious rooms and gorgeous views of the city all the way to the ocean. The rooms were spotless and comfy, with a well stocked kitchen, which was great for our breakfasts on the balcony. Just down the hill was the town's center where we tried different restaurants and went shopping. Paulo was very kind and attentive to all our needs. We will definitely stay again when we return to Terceira!

Gorgeous location with everything you need for a great stay. We really enjoyed the sunsets. Bed was comfortable. The house is a different color than the listing which made finding it a little confusing (it’s white with blue trim now). Check-in could be a little smoother, but was by no means terrible. Overall, this was a really lovely stay.

Beyond expectations! We were two couples (my husband and I and my parents). The apartment was perfect for privacy based on the layout with room to spare. It included all amenities and a few extra perks. Having a laundry room is great for longer stays or quick washes. The whole experience from the booking to the checkout was easy and host was responsive and helpful. One morning we didn’t have hot water and it was quickly acknowledged and resolved. Having multi A/C units (1 in each bedroom, 1 in living area) made hot days and nights bearable. Highly recommend and would book again when we return.
