In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). The guest house is fully equipped with a kitchen, toilet and shower. There is also a barbecue facility, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal while looking at the natural scenery. If you are on a motorcycle tour, you can enjoy a campfire while looking at your motorcycle. I confidently recommend it to families and hobby groups. The main attraction is the barbecue while looking at the rural landscape. When the sun goes down, the cool breeze from the Northern Alps is pleasant, and you can lose track of time while enjoying yourself.
