The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a place rich in nature where monkeys and deer appear. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. The small but dignified Japanese garden, built over 100 years ago, welcomes you to the private rental inn, "Dai-mae house". This inn, "Daimae", is located in a temple complex to the east of the Takayama Basin. If you go up the stairs along the mossy stone wall from the road, you will be greeted by a protruding pine tree. When you open the lattice doors, you can see a Japanese garden on the right that seems to have been built over 100 years ago. Enter the front entrance, and enter the living room from the tatami mat hallway, from where you can see the Japanese garden.
