We loved staying here. After a long day of exploring Takayama, there was no better way to unwind than the sauna and big tub combination. Location couldn’t be better! Right by the train station but only a short walk from the main town area and food. Takayama is not to be missed. As American tourists who crave coffee first thing, we really appreciated how close a coffee shop called “June” which opened at 7 am! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Luxurious Time in Takayama/10 Guests/Free Parking

The apartment is just as in the photos. Very well equipped and comfortable. It's in a quiet area, not very central, but in less than 15 minutes on foot you can reach many areas of interest. The host responds quickly and tries to help you and resolve all your questions. I recommend it 100%.

It doesn't feel a little far to walk to Takayama attractions, but I don't think the city's tourist route is long enough to endure. I was worried about the noise of cars on the side of the road, but the traffic was extremely low at night, so I didn't have to worry about noise. The bedding was as clean as a hotel, and the size of the bed was also very nice with a large size fluff that would be enough for two adults to lie down. In addition, it was equipped with a new, large smart TV, a bedroom, and two air conditioners on the kitchen side, so it was perfect for relaxing in the accommodation. The kitchen utensils were well-equipped, there was no inconvenience to sit together at the dining table, and the shower was spacious, so it was so nice to stay.

Located around 5-10 minutes walk away from Takayama station, it’s a convenient location to get around and explore. Although the host may not be as responsive but you can message her earlier so that you can get the response you need in time. The host also nicely allowed our extension to check out 1 hour later so that we have more time to explore our neighbour without lugging our luggage around. Overall, I thinks it’s a comfortable stay for my family of 4 adults with all the necessary amenities.
