The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Antique stained glass, Isamu Noguchi-designed washi lamps, and a large bed room with Simmons mattresses and Muji bedding. The bedding in the tatami room is based on the feedback from previous guests, and thicker mattresses have been specially prepared. We hope you can rest more comfortably and have a pleasant stay. Every detail is designed to make guests feel the warmth and peace of home, and quietly experience the unique atmosphere of Kyoto.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.
