Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Stichtse Vecht

Locatie en huis waren perfect! Ook de communicatie met Elisabeth was erg prettig.

We had a lovely family reunion here with 6 adults and 2 kids. The weather didn't cooperate but the place was perfect and exactly as expected! Saskia was a lovely host- super responsive & friendly. The kitchen was great; we cooked most of the meals ourselves and enjoyed the long dining table and plenty of dishes & silverware to accommodate everyone. The beds and rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. And the location really is very central, especially since we have family in Utrecht. I can highly recommend staying here; exactly as in the listing in terms of rooms/looks etc. The only note is that it is not at all actually in South-Amsterdam, and I still really can't figure out why the listing says that. It is a great location, very central, but not South Amsterdam and you definitely need a car to get anywhere. Would love to come again in the summer! It must be magical when the weather is nice and nature is in full swing on the river in the yard. Thanks for such a great stay, Saskia!

We absolutely loved Bart's house! Even though I'm from Holland I had never stayed in this area before, so it was a great experience. Especially for foreigners it will be even more special.

Notre séjour a été absolument parfait ! Le logement était d'une propreté impeccable. Chaque pièce est décorée de manière qui peux surprendre, créant des espaces intérieurs que vous ne trouverez nulle part ailleurs (on aime ou pas). Les couchages sont très confortables et sentent bon, tout comme le linge de toilette. Le jardin est un véritable havre de paix la aussi vous trouverez une décoration osé😉. Quant à nos hôtes, ils ont été d'une gentillesse et d'une attention exceptionnelles. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le charmant cadeau de bienvenue : de délicieux œufs frais de leurs propres poules, qui ont été des voisines très sympathiques pendant notre séjour. Nous avons également adoré saluer le cheval et le poney chaque matin !N'oublions pas un message écrit en français🥰. Seul petit bémol : même si nous n'avons pas séjourné durant une période de forte chaleur, la température peut vite monter dès qu'il y a un rayon de soleil a l'étage. Un grand merci pour cette expérience.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful riverside home. The environment was incredibly peaceful, and the house itself offered plenty of space for our family of five to relax comfortably. The sun terrace and greenhouse were especially lovely—bright, breezy, and perfect for spending happy, quiet moments together. Despite its calm surroundings, the location was also very convenient—only about 15 minutes to Amsterdam by taxi. The nearby town was charming and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing walk. We felt like we were living like locals, which made the experience even more special. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay!

Very nice and quiet place. More than enough room for our family of five. About half an hour from Amsterdam. Having a car is a must. All in all, we had a great time.

wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. die Lage ist traumhaft! das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. besonders war vor allem, dass Ingrid und Robert so gut erreichbar waren. leider war das Haus Recht verstaubt.. Ingrid schien darüber auch sehr verärgert, dass die Reinigungsfirma schlecht geputzt hatte und zeigte sich kulant. uns hat es dennoch sehr gut gefallen! besonders der Außenbereich und die Sauna sind traumhaft!!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Wohnung war wie erwartet, die Zimmer verteilen sich auf zwei Etagen, unten beim Eingang ist eine Gästetoilette. Im ersten Geschoss ist der wunderschöne große Wohnraum mit offener Küche und zwei Balkonen, der eine direkt am Wasser gelegen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Man hat einen Fernseher in der Küche und die Möglichkeit eine Leinwand mit Laptop oder Konsole zu nutzen. Umgebung sehr ruhig, Supermarkt fussläufig erreichbar ebenso wie diverse Restaurants alles andere in Max 20 fahrminuten erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu dritt genossen und ausreichend Platz! Das Badezimmer hat Dusche und Wanne. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und auch im Kühlschrank war ausreichend Platz, Wir danken Martin sehr für sein Vertrauen und die tolle Zeit in Loosdrecht. Wir würden wiederkommen, vielleicht mal im Sommer :)

Thomas ist wirklich ein toller Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir hätten sogar zu viert dort übernachten können. Die Betten war bequem und wir würden jederzeit wieder einchecken!

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Menke’s place is in the perfect location - just outside the main tourist area so it is authentic, yet still close to everything. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely come back when we are in Amsterdam next. Menke is also very easy to work with and accommodating. Easy 5 stars all around.

We had a lovely stay at Anita’s place! It’s a beautifully clean, well-equipped, and private apartment, nestled in a quiet village setting close to nature—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The location is great for exploring both Amsterdam and Den Haag, each about a 40-minute drive away. Anita is a wonderful host—very responsive and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s worth noting that having a car is definitely helpful for getting around and exploring the area comfortably. Also, the apartment is accessed via a set of steep stairs, so it might not be ideal for those needing a barrier-free space. All in all, a charming stay in a tranquil location with everything we needed. We’d happily return!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

Excellent location! Very nice neighborhood, walkable everywhere, supermarkets close by, restaurants nearby...Jurgen was very proactive, responsive and very flexible.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

Nous avons passés un très bon moment dans ce lieux. Nous avons eut de nombreuses recommandations de sorties possibles à proximité ainsi que de lieux ou ce restaurer. Des conseils précis et utile pour notre séjour. Nous avions à notre disposition à notre arrivée des produits locaux nous permettant de goûter aux saveurs locales ce qui est très appréciable. Pour finir notre hôte ce tenait disponible pour toutes questions ou recommandations et est resté très professionnel et à notre écoute. Un grand merci pour nous avoir permis de passer de très bon moments !

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This is such a dreamy place. Nienke opens her house for you and it feels so nice to finally go back to the beginnings of the airbnb philosophy ... staying in someone's house and not a soulless business investment. Her place is exactly like you see in the photos. It was warm, comfortable and with a super friendly, yet independent cat. We were 5 people and everyone had enough space. We didn't take advantage of the lake, but it looked very inviting for the summer time. Nienke was very responsive and she has everything you need in her place, with instructions in English plus some recommendations that we really appreciated. We needed to be in Amsterdam a lot and it was quite easy to drive to/from. We would definitely love to stay there again with more time to to enjoy the nature.

We stayed for a long weekend at Mariette and Cees' cabin. The town was nice and calm and the accommodation is clean and very charming. The hosts were warm and welcoming throughout our stay and provided us with recommendations and even bikes. We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend in the countryside!

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Mandy & Remko rundum zufrieden. Die beiden waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - einfach tolle Gastgeber. Die Fahrräder sind auch eine tolle Angelegenheit, außer das Wetter ist nicht gut dann doch lieber via Taxi/ Uber. Alles in allem hat die Unterkunft absolut unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen, angenehme Lage etwas außerhalb, ein absolut himmlisches Bett, und eine saubere Küche sowie ein sauberes Bad. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen. Die einzige verbesserung die vorgenommen werden kann - ein zweiter Handtuchhalter im Bad um die kleinen Handtücher zum trocknen aufzuhängen. Wir haben uns Pudelwohl gefühlt und kommem sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Mandy & Remko für die schöne Zeit. 😊
