A special house in a special place. A lovely experience on the water next to open countryside and nice small towns.

We had a fantastic stay, the kids and adults loved playing in the clean canal/water. Day trip to Amsterdam and a day visiting the beautiful Wander Island! Richard and Paula are great hosts and very accommodating and extremely helpful, would recommend booking with them!

We were delighted with the beautiful nature around us. It was charming with the small garden there. We were allowed to use the canoe and explored the lake a bit. We would have liked to have stayed longer, our expectations were exceeded. Tineke is very helpful and gives valuable tips. We will be happy to come back !!!

The Cottage is located in this small village, on a canal, with a beautiful windmill near by. Small but charming, it has everything a couple might need for a romantic and quiet getaway. The village and near by villages are very pretty and worth exploring on a bicycle. I would definitely return one day.

We really enjoyed our stay. We got to say hello to ducks, rabbits, cats and goats. Was a fun time walking around the small town. Only down side is a bit far from Amsterdam and the bus is there but isn't convenient later in the evenings Uber is about €40 from De Wallen. Overall was a nice breath of fresh air from the busy city life and great for a family get away.

Brilliant location, gorgeous summer house. Swimming in lake from the deck was a highlight followed by the outdoor shower. Outdoor dining whilst the sun set was beautiful. Wildlife also entertaining 😊. Jes was a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you.

We spent a very pleasant week at Maurice & Ashley's place. They are very helpful, friendly and always available hosts who proactively provided us with tips and information and answered questions within a very short time. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant time. Upon arrival, the beds were already made and the house heated. The view from the living room to the small canal was very relaxing. On the table, there was an information folder and a bag of stroopwaffles as a welcome gift. The proximity to Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague and Utrecht is very comfortable and everything is easy to reach by train, which is recommended, as the parking fees in NL are immensely high! Thank you so much for everything!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Unfortunately, we only stayed 5 days at the place, but it was really nice. Right outside the door, two pigs grunt happily and you are really right on the edge of the forest. Everything is very idyllic. You absolutely need a car to get there. There was also a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. In the kitchen there was everything you needed. The sauna was also really great and we slept heavenly in the beds. All in all absolutely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in the tiny house in Bussum. We stayed for nearly a month while doing a renovation on our place in Amsterdam. This house was perfect for our needs. It has all the amenities you need for a longer stay, it's an easy commute to Amsterdam (which my wife did almost daily), and there are lots of surrounding parks and forests for the dog to go off leash. In fact, our dog loved it more than our home in Amsterdam. Communication and check-in were prompt and smooth. The house is close to restaurants, stores, and cafes and lots of charming towns are only a short train ride away. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants a quiet, comfortable, dog-friendly place to stay, close to nature but with an easy commute to major cities.

We wanted to experience the North Sea and Haarlem and Amsterdam, the location of the apartment was ideal for that. Everything was optimally accessible by bike and train

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely place, beautiful little cottage, wonderful beds, privacy. We were allowed to borrow the bikes. Very friendly host. All in all super!

We had an absolutely a wonderful and amazing time at the houseboat. It was exactly what I was looking for for my short stay in Amsterdam, First of all, the location is really good, very close to Amsterdam which is good because you don’t have to waste time in traveling, just 30 minutes drive from the center. Secondly, the house is located in a beautiful area, you feel really close to nature and you will be surrounded by beautiful country side views of the Netherlands. Also, the house it self is very very clean and has been furnished beautifully. You will find everything you need there😍. It is close to some good restaurant as well and a supermarket. Lastly, Anita is the best host she made our stay extra special. The breakfast was perfect and the boat trip was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a special place, my husband and I had a wonderful time thank you Anita for your kindness from the bottom of my heart, you were amazing in every level.

Halfway between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Close to the highway and p+r to visit big cities. Shops nearby. Refills stations 50m from the house. Accurate description and effective communication. Thanks for the stay.

Great place to stay for some respite from the city while still being within biking distance from the train station. The home was very clean. Wilma was a kind and responsive host! She provided a bike to get around in :)

We had a great time on the houseboat. It was a really fun place to stay and very accurate description. Rienk was really communicative and helpful.

Unique and amazing place! It was easy to find the marina, where there were plenty of parking spaces. Here we were picked up by Karin in the boat, who sailed us out to the island. It took about 10 min. Then the boat was free to use and we could easily sail around or to the car. We went with two small children and especially enjoyed the boat and sup boards. We sailed into Vinkeveen, where you can sail directly to eateries and supermarkets. This was an absolutely amazing experience. There is good life on the lakes with other boats, windsurfers, sup boards, people bathing, etc. Some of the islands are public where you can dock and play on the playgrounds or look around. We also saw the fried boat, where you can buy food or ice cream in the middle of the lake. The cabins are as pictured and well equipped. The toilet, hot water and gas stove make the stay very comfortable. We look back on an unforgettable holiday!
