Vanuit hier kun je allerlei activiteiten ondernemen in Amsterdam en de rest van Nederland. De landelijke ligging maakt dat je hier volledig tot rust kan komen. Het is een groene oase vlakbij de stad, met verschillende idyllische dorpen en kleine steden eromheen. Op de boerderij is het een gezellige boel met de koeien, geiten, varkens, pony's ('s zomers vliegen:))

Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Very complete house on an island with its own motorboat. All this in a beautiful area with lots of nature, where there is enough to do for everyone. In the garden, you can relax in a hammock, jump on a trampoline, go canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming from your own jetty. Nearby you can continue hiking and cycling to the nearby village of Breukelen and/or hiking along the Vecht. From Breukelen station, you can reach the city center of Amsterdam or Utrecht by train in 25 minutes.

Guesthouse Bethune is located in the beautiful village of Tienhoven, in the middle of the Dutch lake district. Amsterdam (30 min by car) and Utrecht (15 min) are nearby. The area is famous for biking and hiking but also boat trips along the river Vecht with its castles and famous historic houses. You can enjoy the great nature (many birds) with one of our bikes or our kayak. Self catering / without breakfast. Neighbor cats in the garden, please be aware when allergic.

Houseboat Loosdrecht; SUP/canoe (near Amsterdam)

How wonderful it is in Loosdrecht! Enjoy the beautiful view from our rooftop terrace over De Loosdrechtse lakes. Or from the terrace in the harbor at restaurant Porto. Feel welcome on our boat. We hope you will treat our boat as well as we do. Of course, smoking is not allowed inside. No problem for you? Looking forward to welcoming you! In consultation, you can also rent our sloop (boat license required). Children are welcome if they have a swimming certificate.

The Barn

The barn has been in the family for 50 years, we are now renting it out regularly and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. After a driveway of 35 meters, you arrive at the Schuur, a wooden house with a living room, fully equipped kitchen and on the first floor two large bedrooms. And a bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub. The garden is 1500 square meters. The barn has a large swimming/natural water where we often swim and a meadow of 1 hectare.

Holiday Island Vinkveen with hottub & boat

Lovely vacation home with private garden of 1200 m2 located on a beautiful island on the Vinkeveense lakes. The island can be reached on foot. And there is plenty to do! The trampoline, swinging, paddle boarding, canoeing, barbecuing, cycling, sailing between the islands and swimming from the various terraces in the clear water. For the cold months, there is a fireplace, outdoor stove, lovely hot tub and heated outdoor shower.

Eilandseind, holiday cabin on your private island

Eilandseind, translated as islands end, is an island with a beautiful round wooden cabin on it! ...well, it's the last stretch of a kilometer long peninsula in midst of nature. Only reachable by (electric) boat, which is provided. Pure freedom, tranquility, romance in the dutch wilderness. A good reason why dutchies like to have staycations. A hidden outside space with a generous inside to celebrate nature and each other.
