The KNSM Island is one of the hidden gems of Amsterdam, quiet and peaceful, but close to the city center. It is possible to sit outside on a private terrace and jump in the water for a swim. The sunsets are pretty spectacular as well.

Geinig is een heerlijk ruim appartement van circa 100 m2 verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen met eigen entree, gelegen in het idyllische Hollandse landschap aan de dijk van het Riviertje het Gein in Abcoude. Ondanks de landelijke rustige ligging is het stadshart van Amsterdam verrassend dichtbij, evenals de uitgaanscentra in Amsterdam Bijlmer; Ziggo Dome, Arena, Gaasperplas en de Heineken Music Hall (HMH) en de zakencentra zoals de Zuidas en het Amsterdam Business centrum in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Het souterrain onder ons huis verhuren wij als perfecte plek voor een romantisch weekend weg, of een weekje offsite werken. Onze villa staat 5 min./ 400 m. lopen van het Ridderoordse Bos. Het is 30 min. fietsen/ 10 min. trein naar Utrecht. Een volledig uitgerust appartement met eigen entree van 60m2 met woonkeuken, werkplek, slaapkamer met 2 p. boxspring (180*220), badkamer met douche, toilet, wasbak en ruime sauna! De patiotuin is nog in aanbouw en is klaar medio maart '25.

Ons huis ligt schuin tegenover het Dikke Torentje het kerkje dat geliefd was bij Koning Emma en ooit het centrum vormde van Eemnes Binnen (Binnen de dijk), het oudste stukje van het dorp. In het guesthouse, gelegen in de tuin van onze boerderij uit 1815, bieden wij u een fraai appartement dat rust en privacy biedt en grenst aan een van de mooiste polders van Europa: de Eempolder.
