Beachfront vacation rentals in St Ives

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

The place is really central, almost too central if you prefer somewhere more quiet and spacious. However this is just personal preference. It was a very nice place and 1 min from the beach.

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Exactly as described a perfect slice of reclusive heaven! Wish the weather was slightly better but hey that's the UK. Amazing, the small personal touches such as the scones were lovely! The dogs loved being in the garden next to the sea- I have never seen so many zoomies! The WiFi really is intermittent but why would you need it, when your view and surroundings are so wonderful!

Great location for accessing all that St Ives has to offer. A minute from Porthmeor beach for great swimming and sunsets over the sea. Cottage was clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds.

we've just spent 4 nights at Jane's apartment in St Ives, Cornwall, our stay was to see family I have there and spend a few day relaxing and the views from Jane's place made that easy. I would definitely stay here again so thank you Jane for a great holiday.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

Everything was as described by Anna, the Surf Shack was spotless and very well maintained. Anna's communication with us was brilliant since the beginning. The "welcome package" was a nice touch and the Surf Shack has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Essentially we used this place as a base to explore Cornwall, and even though the weather wasn't perfect with a few rainy and windy days, the truth is that we made the most of our time, always with something different to do and explore each day. The local mini-market and entertainment, the play areas and the beach also add extra value to this place. For us travelling with 2 kids, the Surf Shack was definitely a good choice and the kids didn't want to leave it! The only thing that could be improved are the bed mattresses, which could be more comfortable. Otherwise, nothing more to say except that we loved it. Thank you for having us!

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

This is the cleanest holiday rental we’ve ever stayed. Owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Beautiful property. Wonderful area. Pool was lovely. Highly recommend. Love everything about the property. Perfectly located at the heart of the city, where the main beaches, attractions and restaurants are just a walk away. The property is compact, very modern, and super clean, complete with all the amenities we need. Would recommend anyone visiting St. Ives to check this one out. Def will stay here again when I visit St Ives in the future.

Great week spent in flat 2. Easy access to all amenities in St Ives from its central location. The view from the room is stunning, a panoramic view encompassing the whole of St Ives and beyond. The flat is clean, simply furnished, but fully functional with all you would need for a week’s stay. Other than the kettle, we didn’t use the kitchen, however, it had all the required equipment, should you wish to cook.

Absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. It’s really comfortable, incredible views, and the location is perfect. It has everything you need. Only thing to note is that the bus stops regularly opposite the flat, and the second level of the double decker bus looks directly into the flat so you’ll occasionally lock eyes with someone on the bus if you’re in the living room. Didn’t really bother us though

Great stay in a wonderful stylish apartment. Really comfortable and tidy with all the bits and bobs we would need for a trip away.

We loved our stay at Summer Salt. The location was fabulous, the view was spectacular and everything was thought of and accommodated for. The flat was gorgeous and the living/kitchen space fantastic. We loved our stay and didn’t want to leave. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Karen’s. She was so friendly and helpful and we felt right at home. Her place is spotless with tons of natural sunlight and exquisite views. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well stocked and there was plenty of space for the three of us to spend several days together without getting in each other’s way. The location also was excellent with the beach a close walk and the shops nearby as well. However, being a street above the high street made it very quiet and tranquil. Truly the best of both worlds. St Ives is the perfect Cornish town, a polished gem with 3 great beaches, excellent food options and really friendly, kind people. Karen is the perfect example of just that, and we will savor our memories for a long time.

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

What a wonderful holiday the flat was perfect a lot of attention to detail very clean and well equipped the bed was so comfortable, fantastic location for beach lovers. My dogs had the best week ever. Wine flowers and a few nibbles a great touch! Thank you for allowing my dogs to stay they had a wonderful time on all the beaches. I loved how close we were to the beach! The beaches are so so beautiful. We can’t thank you enough for a great holiday.
