From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! Wow, what a perfect haven for our San Diego stay. The space is cozy and beautiful, the pool pristine and the views stunning. The quickest drive into the city, and returning each night feels like a restful retreat. Such responsive and kind hosts, we hope we can come back to this peaceful retreat again soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The place feels spacious, spotless, and very well kept. There was plenty of room for our family of six adults to each find a cozy corner—whether reading in the hammock, daydreaming by the lake, or chatting in one of the many comfortable seating areas. The fresh-cut flowers were such a thoughtful touch. Kathleen was very welcoming, and encouraged us to make full use of all the amenities—which we absolutely did! We enjoyed the table tennis, tennis/pickleball court, pool, and jacuzzi. It was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and we’re already planning to return next year!

This is our second time staying at the Fig Tree Cottage. Location was near our family and the price was reasonable. Accommodations were just what we needed and described perfectly in the listing. It is always clean. Quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed some sunset walks. Jorge is an outstanding host. He is very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Next time we are in San Diego we hope this location is available.

Donna’s house exceeded our expectations! It was so comfy and has great amenities. We especially enjoyed quiet nights on the patio. The neighborhood was great and it didn’t take us long to get anywhere. Ralph’s grocery store close by was an added bonus. Highly recommend this Airbnb! Thank you Donna for allowing us to stay here! Our stay in Bird Rock was amazing. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Super accessible to everything we needed. Short drive to beaches and restaurants (if you want to go further into La Jolla). Plentiful coffee, pastries, açaí bowls all around. It was great spending mornings on the roof top patio drinking our coffee and planning the day. 10/10 would stay again. Thanks Matt!

We like the place! Easy parking

Desiree is such a sweet host! My husband, five month old, and I stayed in her Airbnb and we very much enjoyed our time. The place was well kept and clean. She had the guest house stocked with all the essentials which made it so nice and convenient. Anytime we had a question or request, she was quick to respond and resolve. The location is close to many great coffee shops, restaurants, and things to do. Glad we found this place and would definitely book it again in the future!!

Our trip to California had lots of working parts, so we had to make a couple shifts to our reservation. Responses to my questions and requests were exceptionally quick. Cody and his team were amenable where they could be and we are so grateful for this kindness. Beyond this, the place was so cute and comfy and perfectly placed for a quick jaunt to a great restaurant. I would definitely recommend. 💛

Overall our stay was great! The location is in a great spot, close to a lot of cute restaurants and coffee shops. Camila was very helpful. The only slight downside is parking is a bit tricky but that’s really all of San Diego. All in all we would totally stay here again.

We had a great time staying in a quaint space—perfect for two—that is also very centrally located in Oceanside. It's not walkable anywhere really, but in a short car ride, everything becomes accessible.

This was such a fantastic experience. It started with the booking, our hosts were gracious, flexible and when they found out we were driving in they upgraded us to a unit that had a garage for us to park in. They sent a handbook for the properly which explained in detail anything and everything we needed to know. The check in was simple, when we walked in we felt right at home! The furniture was comfortable, the decor had a fun beach vibe and everything was so clean. Having a kitchen was very nice and appreciated actual soft toilet paper! Our favorite parts though were the location and the use of bikes. We practically walked across the street to the beach so we were able to go back and forth easily all day and there were many places to eat within walking distance. The location was actually in the middle of two beaches and we loved our morning bike ride between the two of them. Can't say enough good things about this property, 10/10 recommend!

This air bnb was the best place we could have stayed in San Diego. It had everything we needed and there were so many thoughtful touches. All I wanted was a Southern California beach vacation and Kristen had all of the gear we needed for that. We went to several beaches during our stay and it was about a 30 minute drive to every beach we went after waiting out morning rush hour traffic. Her backyard was my favorite part of our trip as we love watching sunrises and sunsets and it was so peaceful with great views. There is a lot of natural light in the air bnb as I didn’t understand initially there are solar tube lights throughout the unit which I thought were really cool. The air bnb is in a safe and quiet neighborhood and is a convenient location. The bed itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to cook meals with a full kitchen and be able to do laundry. I would definitely will return when back in San Diego.

Great location, great price, and great kitchenette, perfect for a few nights stay!

10/10! The house was exactly as shown and described. The little yard was perfect for morning coffee and pastries with our toddler. Every day we saw hummingbirds and parrots and watched the flowers bloom. This was extra magical with the kiddo. The bed was very comfortable. Everything in the house was clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook general meals. The location is incredible. We were just a few minute walk from the main downtown area and beach, yet somehow it felt private when we were hanging out at the house. Free parking was a huge plus. We only needed the car to travel to other areas like the zoo, little Italy and La Jolla (and these weren’t far!). The planes are loud, but that is the whole area and nothing to do with the house itself. We used a sound machine for our toddler and could no longer hear the planes. Peter was very responsive and kind. This is a place we would stay at over and over again. Book it!

I had such a wonderful stay! The space was perfect for a solo traveler! It was quiet, peaceful, and had everything I needed. The bed was super cozy, and I slept so well each night. The bathroom and shower were really nice, and I appreciated how clean and well stocked everything was. The host provided lots of helpful local info, and I loved how walkable and friendly the neighborhood felt very safe and inviting. The A/C was amazing, and one of my favorite parts of the stay was enjoying a cup of tea and a good book out in the yard each morning. Thank you for the hot water kettle! There was a perfect little mini fridge too! It was such a peaceful way to start and end each day for my 4 night adventure in North Park. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend Susan’s place to anyone!
