A charming place nestled in the heart of nature. Super comfy bed, lots of natural light to let the sunshine in, and I loved opening up the windows to hear the birds, quiet little coo from the chickens - very quiet and soothing. The hosts are an absolute delight. I am very much looking forward to my next visit!

We had a wonderful stay with our dog! Fully fenced in yard, beautiful and peaceful and felt very private as well. We were greeted when we walked in with a bottle of wine and fruit/nuts from Kamilo's garden on the table, they were delicious! We met Kamilo in the driveway and chatted a bit, what a lovely person! He is super nice and friendly and we had a great conversation. The location is great! A few minutes drive from the beach and also from great restaurants and shops. Felt like a very safe, quiet neighborhood. It was so nice sitting outside even though it was cloudy/rainy during our visit. The place was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable bed and couch/bed. If you are visiting from within the USA, check out the plants that Kamilo sells! They are a great price and such a great selection! If we didnt live in Canada, and can't take live plants back :( we would have bought them all! We hope to make it back again to stay here, loved it!

Enjoyed our stay! Kid friendly was a huge plus. Everything was as pictured and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay, even a highchair. Which was amazing. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Hans’ place in Ocean Beach. Hans was super responsive and sent us great instructions for arrival and departure. The house was just as we expected from the listing. You couldn’t get a better location if you are wanting to spend a lot of time at the beach and walk to local restaurants. It was also super quick to get to the zoo. My kids loved the sand toys that were at the listing! The air traffic in Ocean Beach is definitely no joke, but it does stop at night and with the sound machines we brought, it did not wake us up when it started back up in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Lauri’s place is a perfect Encinitas getaway! We loved the patio and watching the sunsets every night. It was very cozy for our little family. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute home. Victor was extremely proactive in making sure we had everything we needed for our time in San Diego. The home is situated in an eclectic neighborhood with easy access to a Ralph’s grocery store.

Gabriel and Jenny’s place was a gem for our trip! We loved looking out at the city from all sides both at night and during the day. The kitchen had all the basic tools we needed, and the booklet they left out for our use was full of helpful instructions. We enjoyed writing in the guest book as well and overall loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

First and foremost thank you for the hosts for the local suggestions and most importantly the hospitality into their home. Being able to stay in a peaceful and mellow area while being able to be so close to the waves of the ocean was one of the best experiences. Not only is it surrounded by good food but also by amazing experiences that the person has to look for. Overall a 10/10 experience and I would recommend. One of the only exceptions would be the parking situation but it’s understandable for the capacity of the neighborhood surroundings.

This was our second stay at this property, and our first time in The Cottage. We loved being here just as much as the first time! Lara has amazingly good taste, and the cottage is beautiful inside and out. The stand out feature for us is the deck. The tree that stretches over it is beautiful. We spent lots of our time relaxing there. I loved popping in to Lara’s little store, there’s lots of good things, and well worth a visit. We also went over to Santa Ysabel, about half an hour away, and checked out Olive and Oak. It’s a nice store with lots of things for home and garden. We love Lara’s warm hospitality and the gorgeous, peaceful setting of this property. So glad we found it and that it’s only an hour away from our home.

We have stayed in this community many MANY times. I will say this.... You can't beat the location! The views and accessability to the beach, pool, parking was phenomenal! The beach toys and extra fans were great! The artwork in the unit was awesome and the owners brought a new table for the patio that was really nice! On the other hand.... this not the most updated condo, not the best equipt kitchen, and not the comfiest beds we have ever had in this community. For the extra money we would likely choose another unit next time.

I had a great stay at Karen’s place in La Jolla! I was recovering from surgery and she was incredibly accommodating, even letting me check in a little early, which made a huge difference. She was super responsive throughout my stay. The space itself was spotless, cozy, and felt really comfortable—perfect for resting and healing. The instructions for getting in were crystal clear, the TV worked great, and everything was just easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

There is so much to do for adults and kids. We Enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the outdoors and sat around the fire pit after getting out of the hot tub. We walked the trails, played with the animals as well as the kids playing on the trampoline, tire swings and zip line. We also learned that there were a few locations on the property and we plan to come back next year with more family. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place is incredible! The beds are so comfy, the location is ideal to the bay and an area restaurants etc! The outdoor space is lovely. And the pool and hot tub are awesome! We did not want to leave! Aurrora is a wonderful host too. You can’t go wrong with this place!

Grateful to stay at your place near the beach and great places to eat. We did find a Japanese food restaurant; Sunshine Kitchen which we did enjoy. Your pool behind the home is nice. I enjoyed walking through your front yard. The flowers smell so nice. Thank you again.

Great house with all the necessities for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. North coast village was convenient and centrally located for our trips to San Diego, LEGOLAND, Temecula and Zoo safari park. We loved being close to the beach and appreciated the beach gear and towels that were provided.

This house was adorable, clean and in a great location. If it’s going to be hot while you stay, the house does get very warm in the late afternoon and takes a while to cool back down when the sun goes down. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There were plenty of beach towels and extra towels. We had a great experience and would stay again given the opportunity.

Nice place. The rules kind of concerned me since the penalties seemed to be one sided in case we made noise after 10pm. We had no plans to do this anyway. I recommend not exceeding a mid size vehicle if planning to park here but the host made it clear that parking was tight.

We had a fantastic stay at the house. Close to the beach and local shops... we also found it very quiet and easy to sleep at night without extra noise had we been closer to the main road. zero complaints!

This is my second stay, with my son, and it was great! We had a great time, great place to stay, great communication, great recommendations. We absolutely love it here! The warm outdoor shower and the view is the best!! Thank you for the great stay, as always! we hope to be back soon!

We had a great time in Ocean Beach, his place is super close to the beach and all kinds of restaurants and target. it is not loud at all at night time. the guy next door at the cycle shop is nice. I felt safe being there with my kids. I read reviews so brought my own toaster, no big deal. Smelled and felt clean. my kids liked the pull out couch. The only suggestion I would make for the owner is clean up the outside area where we park it's realy dumpy looking. But will definitely stay again.

Loved our stay. The pictures of the patio really do not do it justice. Feels much larger in person, the view of the water is wonderful, and the slight setback from the boardwalk adds a nice touch of privacy. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is our third year staying here with our grandkids and they ask every year to go back to Yellow House 😊 we love it and cant wait for next year.

We really enjoyed staying at Rays place. We will definitely be back again soon. Probably my favorite spot on the Strand. Ray was very responsive to any questions I had. Very friendly. The place was clean and having the beach and strand right outside was awesome. Enjoyed some hot tub time, nice gazebo out front. Was a great weekend! We love old California along the strand. Lots of other places are being torn down and big buildings are being built. Glad Ray still has this place going! 100% recommended.
