Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rathmannsdorf

What a wonderful place to stay! Everything you need, with a nice bed. The children (8 and 11 years) really enjoyed sleeping in their own "cottage". The location is also fantastic, you sit outside to have breakfast next to the rocks!

We were in Stara Knoflikarna for a family reunion: ten adults and four children plus two small dogs. We really enjoyed the house. The furnishings with the many rooms and bathrooms are simply great - there was still enough space. Outside large garden, jogging track through the forest, pool, table tennis table and playground/swing. Inside, a large dining room in the "conservatory," a huge kitchen with all the utensils, a bar, ... and above all the possibility of tapping beer yourself! The super nice housekeeper Jan welcomed us, handed over the house and explained, and was always available for further questions. Everything was a wonderful fit. In addition, the beautiful surroundings with the Tissaer walls. Simply wonderful! I'm sure we'll be back.

Small but nice apartment in a very quiet location. Perfect for 2 persons. Everything you need was available...since we spent most of the 3 days outside with activities, the furnishings were completely sufficient for us. Very friendly owners who live next door and were always there to help and advise. We were able to park our car for free on the fenced property. I would be happy to recommend the place!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this Airbnb. Pavla was an excellent host. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The views out of the windows were just breathtaking. Situated at the end of a private road, you could not ask for a better place to stay. The wildflowers are beautiful, and the birds sang so sweetly. What a wonderful, private oasis, perfect for reflection and very peaceful.

We have been there for the third time and are thrilled with the great house and the surroundings. Dirk was always very helpful. We will be happy to come back.

Lovely stay right near to Bastei area. We went on a lot of great hikes. The stay was dog friendly (with a fee). The apartment was comfortable for a few days with everything we needed.

Michael provides a top accommodation in the best location in Dresden! Starting with a second parking space provided and check-in via a key box, to the available coffee, spices and shower gel in the accommodation, everything was really thought of for a stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained and lovingly furnished. Communication with Michael was quick and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend it and book it again for another stay in Dresden.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful place. The cottage is as described and in the photos, with a large garden, a nice lounge sofa, a beautiful bathroom and a cozy bedroom. The kitchenette has everything you need. Please note that €30/35 in cleaning fees must be left in cash. However, that was not clear to us when booking.

We had a great time at the accommodation in Rathen. You can start hiking directly from there and enjoy the great landscape. The accommodations in Rathen generally do not seem to be too cheap, but in this case we found it appropriate. Finally, the terrace is really special and you have everything you need for a short stay in the apartment. You should perhaps know that the room is not too large. It didn't bother us at all; if you have several large suitcases and want to spread them out, be prepared for the fact that they have to be well placed so that you can still get from the bed to the bathroom :) Communication with Lisa was great: Great tips for the area incl. Activities in the rain and always within easy reach. We will be happy to come back.

We spent 3 nights at Christopher's place as we wanted to hike a bit in Saxon Switzerland and felt very comfortable. The location is very good as you can quickly get to many surrounding hiking trails by car. The apartment was as described, everything was clean and tidy. Communication and check-in/out went smoothly and were always friendly. If we come back to the area, we would book this place again and highly recommend it.

We had a lovely time at Stefanie and Torsten's. Very nice, friendly and attentive people and always concerned with our well-being. Our visit had a touch of exclusivity. When else do you get breakfast with lots of homemade treats? The crowning glory was the dinner. We had a really good time with three courses. So delicious. And we write this as occasional visitors to Michelin-starred restaurants. Don't miss it. By car, we could make excursions to Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland. All in all a great recommendation.

The cottage is very nice and quiet. If you are looking for relaxation and nature, this is the place to be. In addition, you can hike directly from the accommodation and explore the beautiful and still quiet Bielatal. Highlight excursion destinations around Königstein, Bad Schandau and the Schneeberg (Czech Republic) are also easily accessible. Ines and her husband are very kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

The absolute highlight of the apartment is the balcony, from which you can fully enjoy the beautiful landscape. We would also like to highlight the extremely friendly landlady, who always provided us with valuable tips or was simply available for a nice conversation. Check-in was very flexible, the apartment was impeccably clean when we arrived and a private parking space on the premises provides additional comfort. Overall, we can highly recommend the accommodation! :)

The apartment is very clean, quiet, well-equipped, and in a great location. Communication with the host was excellent and very quick. It’s a perfect base for exploring both Czech and Saxon Switzerland. Highly recommended!

Marion is lovely and responsive, and the apartment is a peaceful and comfortable base with everything we needed for our stay. (A washing machine and a dishwasher would be great additions to the apartment, though!)

If you are looking for a spotless apartment in a quiet neighborhood well connected with a public transportation and having everything you need on the walking distance, you found a perfect apartment. We liked renovation and personal touch in every room and specially wall of memories. We didn't need much, but I knew that if there was anything I could count on our hosts. We found parking right in front of the building and didn't need to move car for the whole stay. And there is nice park for the kids right behind the corner.

The apartment is beautifully located. Super quiet and the city with great shopping & restaurants is within walking distance. The equipment is as described and the apartment has a great charm. We will be back :-).

Very chic and clean apartment, equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect, everything nearby and within walking distance (food, cafes, restaurants ...), as well as public transport such as bus, tram, train and S-Bahn. Communication with Boris went smoothly, check-in and out with code lock easy and very good. We had a very nice 5 days in Dresden, also due to the pleasant stay in this apartment. Clear recommendation, will be happy to come back.

Super great apartment, right in the city center. Parking is within walking distance. Quiet with block on the castle. Very stylishly furnished, everything included. Our two kids and we loved it. Communication was great. Glad to come back!

A perfect place to stay in Dresden. The apartment is spacious, very comfortably furnished and well equipped with quality throughout. If anything it is even better than the photos. It is in a pleasant green area, close to the river and walking distance to the old town. Very easy to access from the airport by S-Bahn and then a 10 minute walk from Neustadt station. Supermarket at the station and good local restaurants in the Kongstrasse area. Entry instructions were clear and a lift takes you to the second floor. Communication with Sebastian was good throughout.

If you are going to Decin, this is the place to stay at. Super close to the train and bus station, really comfortable. Martina and her son are extremely good hosts, friendly, and helpful. If you are hiking around Decin it’s the perfect place to stay at. The place itself is big, spacious, clean and beautiful.
