This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

Our cozy vacation home is located in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park on the outskirts of Bad Schandau and is therefore the ideal starting point for many excursions: hiking and climbing in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, tours on the Elbe Cycle Path or relaxing in the Toskana Therme! The small wooden house is quietly located on a large meadow property, surrounded by greenery. Our guests particularly appreciate this idyllic location, the good accessibility and the coziness of the accommodation.

Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the hillside directly on the forest and is only accessible by steps. The Zaukennest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bed is exceptionally possible. A laundry package (sheets/towels) can be added for a flat 25 EUR (get it yourself). The private parking lot is about 250 m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min Train station by ferry: 20 min.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.

The stay was very nice. The location is great. Near the Basteibrücke and from the accommodation you can start hiking trails directly. The accommodation is easy to reach, even if you are traveling by public transport. Thanks to Sergejus' hospitality, we quickly felt comfortable. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night…Would have liked to have stayed longer. Would gladly come back. :)

We had a lovely time in Bad Schandau and Villa Monsei! We only found the associated parking space of the apartment difficult: this could only be reached via a bridge that was questionable in our eyes (with regard to "touching down"). We decided to park on the opposite side of the street. Otherwise, we had nothing to complain about and were super satisfied with the apartment, check-in was easy and there was everything you need for a relaxed stay in Saxon Switzerland 😇

We had a wonderful time staying at the place. The apartment was exactly as described – clean, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal for us, quiet yet well connected. We particularly liked the great terrace and the cozy atmosphere. Check-in went smoothly, and communication with Arlette was super friendly, quick and straightforward. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and would come back anytime. Clear recommendation!

A really special place in a unique location. Due to renovation work on site, no one else was there and my little daughter and I had the whole yard to ourselves. There was something to discover and conquer everywhere. The construction work was exciting, not disturbing. And we were even allowed to bottle feed a lamb... It is remote - that is a dream. A bicycle or car is highly recommended if you are not just stopping for one night. But once you get there, you can do without it. The host family is relaxed. We found what we were looking for.

We all (2 couples) felt very comfortable in the very tastefully furnished apartment. There was nothing missing. We were particularly enchanted by the view from the balcony into the great huge garden. The cottage is very nice and quiet. If you are looking for relaxation and nature, this is the place to be. In addition, you can hike directly from the accommodation and explore the beautiful and still quiet Bielatal. Highlight excursion destinations around Königstein, Bad Schandau and the Schneeberg (Czech Republic) are also easily accessible. Ines and her husband are very kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.
