Beachfront vacation rentals in Puerto Morelos

This was an AMAZING location for convenience!! Best taco place in playa (El Fogón), lots of other restaurants, an organic market, and major supermarket all right on the corner! Carlos was absolutely THE BEST host ever!! I accidentally locked our passports in the safe day 1 and he made it happen to get it open so we could enjoy our vacation!! He gave TONS of recommendations!! I loved that the property had a balcony and there were beautiful plants everywhere!! I love to travel and I’m always so excited when I find a bnb that actually has a comfy bed!! The bed was large and super comfy!! The place was clean and there was even some cold water for us when we arrived which we were grateful for!! The beach and 5th Ave are each about 15 minutes walking or a short 3-5 minute taxi ride. The taxis were $3-$10 depending on who you ask and which way the wind is blowing 😂 (with tip we never paid over $175 pesos) Overall we had an amazing stay and I would absolutely recommend to stay with Carlos!

Please note, this review is for a different apartment. Fabio and his wife were super accommodating and great hosts! We were a little challenged with the steep stairs to the bed loft and thankfully Fabio had a different apartment we could switch to. The location was perfect , far enough away to be peaceful , close to the beach. It was a nice walk to the restaurants and busier part of town. Hope to stay again and highly recommend!

THE APARTMENT: Very nice, spacious, clean and well stocked with everything needed by our family for a weeklong stay. Wireless internet worked fine to do remote work. The cart to load/pull things throughout the complex was extremely useful. Only negative was the firmness of the double-bed mattresses, but that’s relative and not a deal-breaker. THE GROUNDS: Mareazul community was peaceful, private, safe, and absolutely gorgeous. Our family loved the pools, the beachfront, the wildlife, and the on-site restaurant. We didn’t take advantage of other amenities like the gym or spa. THE HOST: Mabel was attentive, gave clear instructions early, and communicated well. Her responsiveness slowed down noticeably after check in though, for unknown reasons. We really enjoyed staying at Mabel’s apartment and would happily return for a similar rate. 👍🏼

This place was perfect. Very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was in great shape; nothing felt old or broken, which I especially appreciated after reading some of the previous reviews. Both showers are working perfectly now. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, shampoo, and drinking water was thoughtfully provided by the host. You can feel the care here. The infinity pool was lovely and there were plenty of chaise lounges. Also, the private pool and sitting area was very nice and gave a sense of privacy and relaxation. And yes, this is absolutely the best location in Playa del Carmen. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. Muchas gracias! ✨

The location was wonderful, the rooftop pool was private with great views and great service. The front desk service was helpful and kind.

We spent a wonderful week at Mi Mar! The view from both terraces was breathtaking, and the location was peaceful and conveniently close to Puerto Morelos. Considering the challenges of maintaining a beachfront property, we truly appreciated the unique details and creativity that went into the construction of this home—especially the stunning ceiling on the second floor and the way the palm tree shadows danced with the light in the fountain area on sunny days. While it’s not luxurious by typical U.S. standards, it’s a perfect vacation home for a group of 8 family members or friends. Appreciated owners fast communication and checking on us!

The house was largely as described, the kitchen had everything needed for anything we wanted to prepare. The hosts were incredibly responsive to minor issues and they were addressed promptly and with great communication to ensure our comfort. The only issues were one bedroom was described as a queen bed but had two (I think) twins or fulls. The guestbook provided had many great places to visit, the homes proximity to both Puerto Morales and Playa provides a long list of options for dining and things to do. We would definitely visit again and stay at this house.

Lovely home, so comfortable and clean. It’s a short drive from all the action. I appreciate Patricia’s responsiveness the most because I really need strong communicators when on vacation. There was some unusually heavy storms that caused a few leaks near the dining area, but nothing that impacted our stay. Patricia responded immediately with cleaning service, and it was great vibes. Ana, the cleaning person is so sweet and present as needed. I’d stay here again. It worked very well for our group of 5 adults and 4 kids.

Perfect location - directly on the beach. Beautiful condo that is well appointed and spotless with a great Italian restaurant next door. Very easy access to the beach. Marisa is incredibly friendly and helpful with my requests. Front desk/receptionists are also lovely. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was so cute and quaint the directions were precise and it was easy to get in .The host was wonderful and kind and even extended a little bit of a late day if we needed... Can't wait to be back to this place!! Was so great.. Perfect for couples and small families...

Great place to stay. My one week long family of 4 vacation was great at this location. Very clean and relaxing, more than enough space for my family. Very attentive host, they will response with in minutes for any questions. I will definitely recommend .

Absolutely amazing panoramic views of the ocean & sunsets. Beautiful condo! Very quiet location and hardly anyone at the pool. Great place to snorkel steps from the swimming pool. Very safe area. I went for a walk and run by myself and saw many others doing the same. Restaurant recommendations from Bill were great! Laura helped us set up parasailing. We also did a snorkeling tour and spent the day at Mr. Sanchos’ Beach Club. We rented a car for the week and drove around the island one day. We had lunch and drinks at Playa Punta Morena on the other side of the island. Worth the drive! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall and hope to come back! This condo and Cozumel are the perfect combo!

We had a wonderful time in Cozumel. Ledge was a fantastic host and Ruby, our condo attendant, went above and beyond what we expected to make our stay great. Very nice condo in a safe quiet area. Beautiful beach and turquoise water make this place a must stay. Will definitely be back.

If you’re not interested in the hotel zone in Cozumel, Lucia’s place is perfect for a blend of relaxing and exploring. We enjoyed the terrace, the pool and direct beach access. The kitchen is very well stocked and the laundry set up was much appreciated. It’s also very well located being 10 min from town and 30 mins from other parts of Cozumel. 10/10!

Beautiful place, extremely clean, ocean view, cold ac! Host was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Secure parking and location. Two pools with ocean views. Located right on the beach (sargassum was an issue, so be mindful with time of year booking) Beds were super comfortable with new bedding and smart tvs. Plenty of closet space in each room. Several beach towels provided, which was a nice touch. Small kitchenette with full size fridge. Large shower with great water pressure. We had a nice stay!

Excellent apartment. Julien was very friendly and precise with his instructions. The place is super comfortable, warm and with all the necessary elements for cooking. The pool has a beautiful terrace! We would definitely go back

Great location, close to everything. Apartment was exceptionally clean, quiet and well designed. Staff was extremely helpful with holding luggage on the check in and checkout, always providing clean beach towels and great local recommendations. We've not had time to try restaurant on premises, but it looked very appealing. Please be aware that there is no swimming beach right next to this property, but plenty within 5 min walk.

For the price, really can’t be beaten. Beautiful building, great location, and Massi is very responsive. For longer stays, you might find yourself needing to figure out situation for laundry and stuff, but we didn’t mean any of that since we were only there for three nights. It was a five star experience for sure.

I was looking for a comfortable and clean Airbnb near the beach to get some work done while enjoying the warm weather, and this place exceeded my expectations. It’s perfectly located close to the beach—the nicest one I’ve seen in Puerto Morelos. The beautiful terrace is perfect for unwinding at sunset. I was able to work from the Airbnb and go for swims during my breaks. The internet is fast and reliable (I ran multiple speed tests, and it consistently showed around 50 Mbps download speed). Communication with Mariana was extremely smooth, and she was incredibly helpful—even with questions that went beyond the accommodation. Thank you, Mariana, for your hospitality. I can’t wait to come back to this stunning place!

I have been traveling to Playa Del Carmen for several years with my family. Our experience during our recent stay was exceptional, as our host was highly responsive and accommodating. The residence itself was remarkable. I would recommend this location, as my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We loved this place. It was a great location away from the busy area but very walkable to whatever you want. The access to the beach was great to have. Verita was incredible responsive and very helpful with any questions. We will book this place again, no question about it.

The apartment was in a great location, close to restaurants and very quiet atmosphere in the patio with the pool. Host are very helpful with instructions on the apartment and very useful information on surrounding areas.
