This was a great getaway and peaceful place to stay. The hosts were very responsive to our concerns and addressed them immediately. We would love to stay here (or the Silo) again!

We enjoyed our stay at William's cabin. We arrived very late at night ( late start) and just needed a bed for the night before picking up our new puppies the next day. William made sure we had good directions, and he made sure to keep on lights to make it easy to find. All directions for amenities were clear and useful. We enjoyed waking up and drinking our coffee on the porch looking over the woods and pond before starting our trip.

Deb’s place is a gem. Deb had everything you could think of needing, was very welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. The cabin is close to all sorts of attractions (caves, hiking, waterfalls, the Caverns, etc.).

Everything we hoped for a weekend retreat. Who knew Paradise was in Rolla, MO?!’ Mike and Kate were amazing hosts—even bringing us some freshly baked cookies! The home is beautiful, the scenery is serene. We totally unplugged and lived in the moment! For birders, I recorded over 30 species of birds in a weekend! Will definitely come back!

Oh my, if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded stay, you’re in for a treat! The noise of the world was quieted in this pristine location, surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, a big open sky, and farm animals. Don’t expect to find much to do in the area, this is simply a retreat, away from the busyness of life. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the quiet mornings on the porch overlooking the beauty and the evenings in the hot tub watching stars and being surrounded by almost complete darkness. We had a lovely chat with Kevin the first morning that we were there - he is very authentic, kind, thoughtful, and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this gem!

Very charming place to stay in, and thoughtfully decorated. Wish I could have stayed longer, but it was only a stopover. Perhaps more incentive to return one day, would definitely recommend Sherry’s place to other visitors in the Huntington area 👍

Loved the cabin and all the rustic touches. Very peaceful surroundings. Sitting on the porch, with the cool wind blowing on a very hot day, was delightful! Coffee cake was delicious and a really nice touch. One of our favorite Airbnbs.

Only stayed one night but really enjoyed the walking trail, fire pit, turtles sunning on a log, geese with their gosslings, chickens and their lovable dog Bailey.

Great location! Minutes from downtown and the off road park. Brittany was very responsive and we would love to stay here again.

Before booking, I read a lot of reviews, and I kept seeing the word “beautiful” over and over again. The reviews were correct. It is beautiful! It’s a garden oasis with 13 acres to walk around. The B&B was clean, restful, and charming with lots of natural light. I was my own little world for 2 days. My only regret is not reserving for another night or two or three! It was hard to leave. Kris was working on the grounds the first morning I was there, and I saw her as I was taking a walk. I had a great talk with her, and she showed me around their event venue. Kris is very friendly and told me all about the community. It was nice to be in such a beautiful area and yet have the convenience of a grocery store, a coffee shop, a few restaurants, an ice cream shop, and a cute boutique within only a few minutes drive. I am a caretaker, so this was a respite for me, and I could not have chosen better. If you’re looking for a restful, peaceful getaway in nature, this is your place.

My husband and I spent the weekend here with our dog and had the most amazing time! I have only positive things to say about the cabin and property! The trails were well maintained and the little scavenger hunt was so much fun! The hosts really think of everything! We honestly could have only brought clothes and we would still have everything we needed because of everything they provide. We disconnected from our phones, which felt so good, and we never ran out of things to do! Also, as someone who is a little bit of a germaphobe, I was amazed with how clean the cabin was! Even the windowsill was spotless! The host are incredibly thoughtful and we loved talking with them! We are already planning our next trip back!

A magical week we will never forget. The dreamy treehouse at The Overlook was everything we hoped for and more, made even better by the warmth and hospitality of our wonderful hosts. To top it all off, I proposed to my now fiancé during our stay—an unforgettable moment in the most perfect setting. The hot tub and heated floors were amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about this property, and the host. I travel a lot and this may be the smallest place that I have stayed in, but it has more than enough room and the space is extremely comfortable. It's also very simplistic, but has everything that I needed. Rachel was responsive before, during and after my stay. And finally, it's very private, very peaceful and a great location to hiking trails, which is my passion. Thank you for having me!

This magical place was better than I had imagined and hoped for my family. It was a beautiful surprise and nothing about it disappointed. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings made the Wee Nook even more magical. My daughters have rated it their top trip. The pond and animal life were the icing on the cake. We enjoyed a hike and soaking in the stunning views. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

The stay at Ryan and Genette’s cabin was amazing! My wife and I were stopping in on our way down for our honeymoon! The cabin was quiet and peaceful, easy to enjoy the night we had. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Wonderful cabin in a very peaceful mountain area. The hot tub was amazing. We also enjoyed being on a working farm with so many amazing greenhouses and plants.

One of the highlights was the porch with swings and a roof—it made for a peaceful spot to unwind, even when it rained. The covered deck was another bonus, offering a great place to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings no matter the weather. The 2-mile walking trail around the property was a wonderful feature. It was well-maintained and perfect for a quiet stroll in nature. Inside, the living area was comfortable and inviting—great for curling up and relaxing after a day out. The location was also super convenient. It was an easy drive into Huntsville, where we found plenty of fun activities, dining, and sights to explore. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful stay with great access to the outdoors and the city!

This tiny cabin is the perfect getaway from the responsibilities and obligations of the real world. We spent three days here just unwinding and focusing on ourselves. The solitude, the view, and the environment all lend themselves perfectly to a quiet few days away. The bed was comfortable, the cabin is cozy, but it has everything you will need to just simply exist and find yourselves again. There are a wide variety of attractions, shops, and restaurants, but be prepared to drive 15-30 minutes to get to them. This is the cost you pay to find this much peace and solitude. There is internet, but it is definitely leisurely. If your escape consists of watching TV or Movies, be sure to download them in advance for offline viewing. Of all of the places on AirBnB that my wife and I have visited, this was the first one that she said, without hesitation, that we would absolutely go back to... and after three days there, I can't wait to go back, myself.
