Farmstay vacation rentals in Plainview

This place was exactly what we needed! We were looking to get away from home for a couple nights and we're interested in fishing and hiking. We stayed in the lakeside cabin so my kids and husband could fish as much as they wanted! We caught bass and bluegill, but saw a few catfish that were too sneaky! Saw lots of wildlife including turtles, deer, buffalo, elk, donkeys and a zebra! The location was close enough to all of our hiking destinations. We did Garden of the God's on our way to the cabin, then did Ferne Clyffe State Park and Jackson Falls (both about 30 minutes from the location). Loved that they are pet friendly so my pup could come along for the adventure. We would recommend staying here and would definitely be interested in staying again!

We loved our stay at the little house next to the Ark! My kids adored interacting with the animals and we had fun trying to find animals “on safari” on the cute little nature hike that was set up. Also, 10/10 on the comfy bed. We’ve done a fair amount of traveling and visiting lately and this was by far the most comfortable bed we’ve come across. Also, extra care was taken to make the hide-a-bed comfortable for my kiddos. If you plan on doing The Creation Museum/Ark Encounter or just enjoy a little Kentucky relaxing it’s a great place to stay!

Fabulously peaceful stay at Connie’s. A perfect retreat for a traveller or someone who wants to escape towns/ cities. The place has everything you need and more and is just great. Comfy bed, hot shower and home laid eggs for breakfast….what a treat to end my road trip vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer ! Thank you.

Wow! Blown away by Don and Sharon’s hospitality! I was very hesitant on getting an Airbnb bc I’ve never gotten one by myself before so I asked a lot of questions haha. Sharon put me at ease and answered all of my questions. Their cabin is very very COZY! A PERFECT GETAWAY for those in need of solitude! Birds are always chirping, and when the flowers on the residence are in bloom, it’s very captivating. Whenever I needed help with something , they were very quick to respond. I highly recommend this wonderful place! Make sure to ask Mr. Don about how God changed his life! It’s a beautiful story!

Loved the cabin and all the rustic touches. Very peaceful surroundings. Sitting on the porch, with the cool wind blowing on a very hot day, was delightful! Coffee cake was delicious and a really nice touch. One of our favorite Airbnbs.

We just returned from a wonderful weeklong visit! This is a true home away from home. Clean, cozy, private and inviting from the minute you open the door. We went kayaking, enjoyed waterfalls and nice restaurants and visited with family and friends. Every day we fed the sweet little animals and it was hard to say goodbye to them. Our week went way too fast! The host has a heart of gold 💛 Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This was our second visit, and it was just as lovely as the first time! David and Hilary are wonderful hosts and so very friendly and kind. The place itself is super cozy and comfortable and clean. I appreciated all the luxury finishes and the western decor. This home had everything we needed and offered much more that we’d still like to come back and enjoy again soon (walking trails, etc). The kitchen was well stocked and even had filtered water from the fridge, the bedrooms have extra towels and plenty of space for a family twice our size. All the cute fuzzy pets and ponies and cows were out to greet us on our way in and out. The cute kitty got lots of love from our kids! We absolutely adored this stay, it was perfect and we highly recommend it to anyone considering visiting!

There’s really nothing you can’t say about Jon’s home. It was very peaceful and beautiful. I thank you very much for the amazing cookies! My son enjoyed watching the cows and enjoying the outdoors surrounding the lake. The home was stocked more than we could’ve asked for and we appreciated all the small details put into this home. Although there is no TV (you truly wouldn’t watch it anyway) we were plenty occupied and if it was warmer we would have spent all of our time outdoors. Thank you again for the amazing stay, I hope to come back soon!

This was our second visit and it lived up to our expectations and bonus was no bad storms while we were here! Spent one day in Bowling Green and another in Nashville. This place is a great location to see both! The home has such character! Really enjoyed the chickens and watching the cows across the street!

We had another great stay! The place was very clean and felt like home. Bridget went above and beyond with thoughtful extras like coffee and snacks, which were much appreciated. Communication was easy and prompt. We definitely plan to stay here again!

We just loved this sweet place. We had such a relaxing and great stay. We were greeted by the chickens who came to check us out when we arrived. We loved having them around. The treehouse was so cute and had everything we needed for our visit. The screened sitting area was perfect on the rainy days. We loved walking around the farm visiting with the chickens and horses. The sweet little cat joined us for a fire and s'mores one night. I loved the lights around the tree house at night by the glowing fire. Just a beautiful space. The owners were so sweet and gave suggestions on things nearby. The lake is gorgeous and we made sure we drove by the dam every trip. Liquid luck coffee is a must visit with great service, and you get a hug with your drink. We will definitely visit again and habe had so many people want the link to this beautiful and relaxing farm oasis.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Linda communicated well and the property was rustic and relaxing. I really loved the back half of the barn that had been converted into a patio/courtyard area. The pictures do not do it justice. We will definitely be staying here again. I also mistakenly left something behind and she was quick to help get my property back into my hands.

What a cool experience! No matter where you look, there’s a beautiful view. The hosts’s provided breakfast was a nice touch and she was very responsive & accommodating. Thanks for the stay!

My husband and I enjoyed staying here! It was very peaceful, and to me, felt like a safe area! Kerry sent clear instructions for unlocking the door and what was expected from us. Very happy with this place, and would stay again if we ever needed it!

The Barn was a great stay for us. It was in a great location with plenty of things to do within 15 minutes, and Aaron had great communication. This definitely is a small town feel which could probably have a bit of finish work done, but everything was as described in the listing. Overall happy with our stay!

We have stayed here a few time now and love this place. We will always stay here when we come to area. It is well worth the money and is very, very clean and feels like home. We always hate to leave.

This tiny cabin is the perfect getaway from the responsibilities and obligations of the real world. We spent three days here just unwinding and focusing on ourselves. The solitude, the view, and the environment all lend themselves perfectly to a quiet few days away. The bed was comfortable, the cabin is cozy, but it has everything you will need to just simply exist and find yourselves again. There are a wide variety of attractions, shops, and restaurants, but be prepared to drive 15-30 minutes to get to them. This is the cost you pay to find this much peace and solitude. There is internet, but it is definitely leisurely. If your escape consists of watching TV or Movies, be sure to download them in advance for offline viewing. Of all of the places on AirBnB that my wife and I have visited, this was the first one that she said, without hesitation, that we would absolutely go back to... and after three days there, I can't wait to go back, myself.

Great little cabin surrounded by beautiful country landscape.

This was exactly what we were looking for, comfortable and relaxing, home like so we can just stay in and cook our own food with the ample supply of essentials they had from tools and utensils to condiments and actual food in the freezer and whatnot. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The only sound was the constant hum of a tractor making hay, and the wild animals everywhere around you. Hardly ever heard one other human endeavor. The definition of getaway. There are also all sorts of nice outdoors things to do in the area such as horseback riding, a cave, and much more. It also seems there's a lot of small flea markets and such in nearby towns as well. We loved our last minute weekend getaway
