Julia’s place is an absolute gem, nestled in the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea at the southern tip of Isla Cristóbal—about a 30-minute boat ride from the main island, Isla Colón. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were stepping into a unique off-grid paradise. The house itself is self-sustaining, powered by solar energy and using filtered rainwater (which, by the way, tastes amazing!). While there’s no air conditioning, there are plenty of fans to keep the air moving. The views from the house are absolutely stunning. In the mornings, dolphins often patrol the area like local marine police, and right beneath the house, we saw massive snappers swimming in the clear waters. If you paddle out into deeper water by kayak or paddleboard, you’ll likely spot graceful rays gliding beneath you—an unforgettable experience. Victoriano, a local caretaker, was extremely helpful on the property and in surrounding areas and guided us on a hike to see the sloths and the monkeys.

Very well maintained and clean. Perfect spot for a relaxing time with ample amenities and service staff. Will definitely repeat!

Das Haus ist idyllisch direkt am Strand gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet (gilt für alle Bereiche). Zwei Schlafzimmer sind riesig und haben das Niveau einer gehobenen Hochzeitsreise. Die zwei anderen Schlafzimmer sind auch sehr schön, aber kleiner. Es gibt u.a. einen grosses, schönes Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf Pool, Whirlpool und Strand mit Meer. Wir waren dort mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern und haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Eigentümer Matthias war sehr freundlich im Vorhinein (war selbst nicht vor Ort) und vor Ort hat sich Patrice, der seit langem auf der Insel lebt (und u.a. perfekt Englisch spricht) sich swhr freundlich und hervorragend um alles Logistische (Fahrt von der Fähre zum Haus und zurück und Erkundungsfahrten auf der Insel, Bootsfahrten auf Nachbarinseln) gekümmert. Suli und Jonathan (sprechen nur spanisch) waren vor Ort und haben sich sehr zuvorkommend um die alltäglichen Bedürfnisse gekümmert (Einkäufe, Fragen zur Unterkunft). Ein von einem Franzosen betrie

Everything was perfect! This home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and there were extra linens, pool toys, and everything we could have wanted. The home and area are stunning. Host was very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend staying here!

Its a 5 star house. The house is way bigger than what photos suggest. It can easily fit in 10 people. It is in a very safe neighborhood and close to great restaurants and bakery. It also has good India mart close by if you need any Indian provisions. House all the amenities you need. Pool, garage, big grill, nice kitchen, theatre room with pool table and a yoga place. The only part of the house that we could not get to enjoy is the golf area. I wish we had more time at the house. Will definitely recommend the house. Also Bradley was very responsive.

Fantastische plek, de zee is je achtertuin. Apen, volgels, eekhoorns en op de golven voorbij komende surfers. Geweldig huis, minimalistisch maar heel leuk mit diverse hangplekken. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het warm kan zijn in het huis en dat er insecten makkelijk binnen kunnen komen....maar daar staat iets geweldigs tegenover.

La verdad excelente la casa, siempre estuvieron pendientes de que estuviéramos cómodo. Todo limpio, lo recomiendo. Fue un fin de semana maravilloso.

Súper bueno el lugar , solo que faltaron algunos detalles, no funcionaba 1 aire y la luces de los baños varias estaban quemadas , pero por lo demás todo bien

La estadía fue increíble, lo disfrutamos de principio a fin, seguramente nuestro anfitrión tiene experiencia en hostelería porque todo fue cinco estrellas.

What an incredible stay we just had. This is our third time to Panama and our first in Gamboa and it was amazing. The home was gorgeous and spacious. The kid zone was a blast for both kids and adults. We went on a zip lining tour and the boat tour of the canal, monkey island and Embera tribe and they were worth every penny. Our 9-12 year olds felt safe and saw every animal on our wish list. Just an amazing adventure topped off by the privacy of our own home with a gorgeous pool. We just loved it. Thank you so much!!!

El apartamento , es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, Dimitrios, muy buen anfitrión , en todo momento , contesta cualquier duda y está pendiente . Amplio el apartamento , muy cómodo . Recomendado .

The Jungle House at Playa Bluff was a great getaway destination for our 2 families, with 4 adults and 6 children, ages 4-11. The pool was great and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us. There is a decent kitchen, but we mostly ate at nearby restaurants or on our daily adventures. The house is about a 25 min taxi ride from the main town and the road can get soupy, but any of the truck taxis can easily get to the house. The beach is stunning, although not great for swimming with rip tides and currents. The host was super responsive to all questions and I would highly recommend this house. We even saw sloths and monkeys right around the house.

We had a great time during our short stay, quiet beautiful condo with big windows and a great view of the ocean, it was close to markets and fast food restaurants, great location overall, we are sure to return.

Desde el primer momento, nos sentimos como en casa gracias a la calidez y la atención a los detalles que se perciben en cada rincón. La ubicación es inmejorable, con el sonido relajante de las olas como banda sonora constante y la playa a solo unos pasos. Disfrutamos muchísimo de los atardeceres desde la piscina. Es el lugar perfecto para desconectarte de todo y a la vez de todo a minutos. La casa es tal cual la descripción y tiene una vista increíble. Hay árboles frutales, palmas y veraneras hermosas que hacen del lugar un sitio paradisíaco. Fui con mi esposa y 5 hijos adultos, todos estuvieron cómodos. La terraza es enorme y la piscina grande. Todo excelente. La anfitriona fue muy atenta y estuvo siempre pendiente, con una comunicación excelente. El hospedaje es muy lindo, espacioso y cuenta con todas las amenidades que se mencionan en la publicación. Sin duda, recomendado.

This place is perfect to enjoy a relaxing het away, having the beautiful ocean view and tropical breeze right outside of the house it is priceless! The pool and Jacuzzi are well maiy and make a great complement of the whole experience! The host thought about every detail to make the guests very welcome, by providing essentials for personal cleaning products, kitchen extra essentials and outdoors supplies. We really enjoyed the stay.!

Just returned from an incredible stay at Rafael’s beautiful beachfront home in Las Lajas, where we gathered to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The house was perfect for our family—spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Four of the five bedrooms had their own private bathrooms, making it easy for everyone to have their own space. The master bath was a dream with its Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, another had a soaking tub and rain shower, and the others featured spa-like rain showers. We enjoyed slow mornings with ocean views, meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and evenings by the pool. Rafael was a wonderful host—responsive and kind. This home helped us create memories we’ll never forget.

Don Gerardo was an amazing host. He picked my family and I up from the airport and welcomed us to his place with a cake which he did not need to do at all. He went above and beyond by offering us advice on local spots and attractions and completely changing the washing machine when the last one had issues. He was very attentive and welcoming to my elderly parents. He even drove my daughter back home from the airport after dropping her off there (one hour round trip) as she had forgotten something important at his place. The house was huge and exactly what my family and I needed. There were no issues at all from the house apart from the aforementioned washing machine which he rectified immediately when we were out of the house. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a big family to stay in Gerardo’s place. He is just an amazing guy and super super host . Highly recommended

La pasamos super bien en familia, nos sentiamos como en casa, ambiente tranquilo, todo era como en las fotos, nos divertimos mucho, muy cerca de la playa, Sr. Benito muy atento. Esperamos poder regresar pronto

Nuestra estadía en el apto de Rapha fue espectacular. El apartamento es super cómodo para estar con familia, esta muy bien equipado y muy limpio. Tienen además detalles que te hacen sentir en casa, como silla para bebes, platos, vasos, etc. Nos encantó el sitio, el apartamento y la atención que recibimos por parte de Rapha! Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendamos al 100%.
