Cottage vacation rentals in New Buffalo

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

Quaint home in a very nice location. Very close to downtown area of New Buffalo, wineries, and breweries. Herb was fantastic to work with and very responsive. The home is very nice with a great backyard setting for relaxing! Would definitely stay again!

The cottage in Union Pier was simply amazing! Steps from the public beach, walkable to downtown Union Pier. The large fenced-in backyard was incredible for our pup! The cottage itself was above expectations- super peaceful and clean with comfy beds and everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Awesome house, I stayed here for a girls weekend and we just loved the space and view of the water. Tons to do in New Buffalo, and the house was so close to the main area of town.

The hot tub was awesome! Great place for bringing dogs. Wish it was fenced in but still great. Backs up to a busy road so there is some road noise when you are relaxing in the hot tub but you cannot hear it inside. The beds are very soft and mushy - not comfortable if you like a firm bed. Beach access just a few minutes drive away with dog friendly beach! The town of St Joseph has several restaurants with vegan options! Overall, great stay!

The location has quick access to the highway, and is a perfect halfway spot between Chicago and Grand Rapids. The house was adorably decorated and a great space for our purposes: friends spending the weekend catching up with each other. Hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to respond to concerns and questions. The hot tub was clean and even pre-warmed up for us.

Donna’s home was amazing!! We felt so safe, comfortable, and relaxed during our trip. I highly, highly recommend it for your girls trip!!

This place was perfectly set up for a family gathering. The lower level head had an extremely comfortable couch that folded out to accommodate many people. There was a fun kids play area down there as well. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with all sorts of cooking supplies. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of amenities. Highly recommended!

This was such a beautiful and relaxing weekend getaway for my friend and I and our pups. The cottage was so cozy, more spacious than expected, and very well maintained. Frank was great at communicating the house rules and everything was laid out clearly. It was clearly off-season for Lakeside because the area was very quiet which was a big bonus for us. We enjoyed some long walks with the dogs and took them to the beach in the evenings to see the sun go down. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and working on the puzzle at the cottage. We loved the place. Beautiful house in great condition with a fun basement. Instructions were clear and host was responsive to our questions and was flexible with a late checkout.

The property is beautiful and perfect for a big family. Tons of space and very clean! The only slight inconvenience we had was a storm came through the week prior and knocked the pool heater offline. However, the hosts were super responsive and corrected the issue as quickly as possible and offered a late checkout for us to enjoy it on the last day . The kids very much enjoyed the pool and the the hot tub no matter how cold the temperate was. The beach is also beautiful and the house was conveniently located with tons of dining options in New Buffalo. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! Great location, near New Buffalo and Union Pier attractions. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our group. The back patio was perfect, a lot of seating and the hot tub. We’ll look to stay here again next time we’re headed to New Buffalo

Cozy Cottage was perfect for our long weekend beach getaway! Jodi was friendly, responsive and more than accommodating! This place and Beachwalk Resort had everything we needed and more!

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

We loved our winter stay here with our dog. Fran thought of everything from extra blankets to dog waste bags! We wanted for nothing & loved the short walk to the main strip of town. Beds were comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean, the fenced yard was great for the dog, and communication with host was very responsive. We highly recommend this charming cottage for any time of the year. We will definitely stay here again!

Nicole was a great host. My family and I wanted an end of summer trip and this was perfect! The house was as described and as it looks in the photos. We took the boat out each day fishing. We also took the kayaks out for a bit. With a bit of rainy weather we played games. Nicole has a wide variety of games to chose from with any unfortunate weather. When reaching out to Nicole she answered very quick with great recommendations.

I've been staying at here every summer for six years now. We love the location, the casual lowkey ambiance, the proximity to the beach and gorgeous sunsets and the comfort of the cottages. The hosts are so easy and flexible, we couldn't imagine a summer without a visit to Elephant Walk!

Very cozy and cute place! I loved the short walk into town. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend. My family & fur-baby adored this place and I definitely plan to come back. I loved the backyard! It’s so big! It was fun to hang back there and exercise. I have so many good things to say.

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

Great property for two families with small kids! The listing has everything you need, including pack and plays & a highchair. Dana was super responsive and laid out easy instructions + local recommendations. S’mores on our last night was a big hit!

A very sweet host who went above and beyond, a perfect slice of paradise that made our mandatory trek to a family wedding feel like a vacation in our own private getaway! Annette came through in a pinch when I noticed a travel snafu on my end to support us with a late checkout, and the neighbors were friendly while giving us our privacy: you never want to feel like you are infringing in a neighborhood, but it seemed impossible for anyone to be anything but happy on the lake! Highly recommend, even though the weather was not conducive to enjoying the water on our stay, the views were so peaceful and the home was so cozy with everything we could need.
