Lake house vacation rentals in Michigan City

This place was exactly what we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything was as described and more! I am thankful I found this place, it is a perfect relaxing lake vacation location. I would recommend this to others as it was very clean and everything we needed was provided. We fished and made use of the boat. That was a big perk for us since we like to boat but don't have one. The boat, paddle boards, kayaks, like jackets are all provided and my family made use of all of it. The grocery store and bait stores are located within 8 mins and there is a neat/unique mini golf course/arcade/go carts (Zao Island) in town that my family enjoyed at night within 15 mins. Leah was very responsive and helpful with all of her suggestions. To sum it up: PERFECT place to escape the everyday! Highly recommend!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house for my nephews wedding at Marion Magnolia farms. Amy’s home is spotless and all finishes very high end. Every detail was well thought out. She even had a steamer - perfect for wedding attire! The bedding was also high end with cotton sheets on all beds (which is not typical of airbnbs. ). There was plenty of space for our family of 7 to be comfortable. The views were amazing and the boat and kayaks so much fun. Amy was great to work with throughout the process. We would definitely love to return to this special home.

The hosts were extremely helpful and were more than accommodating for my friend’s bachelor party. I would most definitely stay there again.

Comfortable & peaceful home right on the lake! We enjoyed the cottage for several days while visiting family nearby. It was a great place for our family of 4.

Simply beautiful! My daughter ( 7 year old) and my goddaughter ( 5 year old) enjoyed themselves! We loved the layout, beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, the updated amenities, the spa bathtub and the outdoor patio swing is amazing! This house is somewhere you can relax and rewind, enjoy yourself and feel safe at! Angie, is the best! I recommend you stay at Angie’s beach house! You will love this house!!!!!!

This was a delightful house on the lake. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We could only stay one night as we were driving west but if we have a chance to come back in the area, we will definitely stay there again and enjoy the lake :)

We were so thrilled with the stay. The house was beautifully decorated and everything in the house was top quality. Amazing private beach to relax at, then come up in the evening for a dip in the hot tub and a fire to close out the evening. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you, Jean!

The most adorable cottage and getaway for my husband and I! I am picky and this one checked all the boxes. We loved being right across the street from the private access beach, walkable to Whistle Stop, comfortable and super clean accommodations - everything feels well thought out from the sheets to the design choices and we appreciated all of the details. We will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! They had everything we needed for trips to the beach (umbrella, chairs, towels) and a great space to relax at the end of the day. The hosts responded right away when the AC stopped working and got it fixed in just a couple of hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Jacson was a super responsive host!! The house is spacious, the deck is also spacious and gorgeous, and the hot tub is huge!! We really had an amazing weekend with our gaggle of girls. Lots of beds and couches and towels, too!!

Communication with the host was not smooth, and the key location was inaccurate when we checked in, which made us feel uneasy. However, the accommodation itself was excellent. The view was great, and the water in the jacuzzi was warm, so we could enjoy it right away. If we get the chance someday, we would love to go back there again:)

Karen was extremely hospitable and responsive to any communication. It was easy to check in and we had no issues at all. If we return to the area would definitely stay here again. The house was clean and ready for us and we were not missing anything we needed.

Our family had such a great time here and we were super impressed by this house! Everything was even better than in the photos. The house is really a cool vibe and is super well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, and lots of games. The beach was so beautiful and we could count on one hand how many other people we saw on the beach during our four days there - super peaceful and private! We hope to be back again soon!

One block from the beach without the buzz. Feels residential and safe. Place is very clean. Have everything we need. Great place to explore the Indiana dunes national park. Would recommend

Stay was great! A/C worked fantastic on a super hot trip! Would stay again. Great location as well. Place is definitely cozy though like described, and the toilet is about 7 feet away from the bed, with only a non airtight sliding door between and a bathroom exhaust fan that's quieter than any other I've ever heard, so make sure you're comfortable with who you're staying with!!

We had the greatest girls weekend here . House is cozy, decorated beautifully, well appointed with everything you could need. Walkable to beach & a fun breakfast restaurant. Spacious common areas. Large bedrooms. Great backyard with comfortable , nice furniture and a fire table. Cozy front porch with comfortable seats . Lots of seating in the house . Huge kitchen with every utensil, bowl, plate or cup you may need . Host was very responsive to all of our questions .

The home was a quiet retreat for my husband and myself. We enjoyed sitting out back in the Adirondack chairs in the morning drinking coffee. As well we enjoyed watching the geese, rabbits robins and cardinals. The home was comfortable and clean. Ideal location for visiting Valpo, Michigan City and Indiana Dunes National Park.

Good spot for a lot of people to stay and great proximity to the beach

Derek is professional and friendly. He was flexible with us in a way that helped our travels a great deal. I appreciate his tech savvy home and will likely revisit the location. It’s about an 8 min walk to a clean beach where everyone is kind.

Mary’s place was perfect for our family with young children! She was very accommodating and the fenced in backyard was such a nice bonus with toddlers!

I would recommend The Grand Tuna to anybody looking for a quick trip to Michigan City. It was right around the corner from a great spot on the beach and close to local restaurants and the Blue Chip. Coco also had tons of beach chairs and other fun activities available to use. Finally, for larger groups, having so many beds and rooms to choose from was incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a few days with extended family with young kids. The house was very family friendly with toys, baby gates for stairs, a high chair etc. There is a great playground for kids that's a short walk. The neighbor is very nice and scenic and the beach is also within walking distance. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone with kids.
