Cabin vacation rentals in Illinois River

Was a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Definitely worth the visit!

I had my bachelor party here and it was a perfect location for 13 guests! The house was very spacious and had tons of places to hang out and activities to do. The back yard was also absolutely beautiful. The host was very friendly and communicative. I would totally stay here again!

Very peaceful. My wife and I enjoy our stay a lot. We will definitely be back. Probably bring our kids next time too.

The place looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. Parking was limited, but the inside was very spacious and very clean. Jill is great to work with and very nice! I let Jill know that we would be getting ready for my wedding there and she left a bottle of champagne with a sweet note. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, such a fun place to reconnect with friends and family for the weekend! Kristin was so hospitable and thoughtful. Every need was anticipated, from extra blankets and towels to a basket of treats when we walked in. Above all, Kristin was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay and was always available for any questions we had. Such a kind and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back!

What a perfect little spot. We travels for a wedding in the morning & reception 6 hours later. We loved the country living & just enjoyed a peaceful weekend! Thank you so much!! The photos don't do it justice, it was way better than what we expected, very private and rustic, with all the amenities that you could need, I loved it!

We loved our stay. Everything felt very new and intentionally designed. From the games to the speaker for our music, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We were able to watch a few woodland creatures from the comfort of the cabin, and it was terrific. Nichole was responsive when I had questions, and the guidebook is next level.

The place and property were amazing! Joe was very helpful when we locked ourselves out 😂. Very peaceful and secluded. We will be staying there again next year for sure and hopefully can have the rest of our friends stay at the silo next door. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

Our stay was perfect! Staying at the cabin was peaceful and just what my family and I needed. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to just be together as a family in nature. If anyone wants a peaceful stay with great hosts this place is where you want to stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a weekend trip! Very clean and such a cute place, couldn’t have gone any better!! If you are coming in the summer, make sure to bring some bug spray because Central IL bugs can get crazy!

This was my third day at one of Dimitar‘s Airbnb‘s! It was another positive experience as expected. He is an incredible host and is very accommodating/available to troubleshoot any potential issues or concerns (not that we had any issues). The place is very unique and is in an absolutely gorgeous location. It is isolated from the road and has a beautiful view. This place is a lot nicer than a typical Airbnb. It really feels like someone’s home and is well cared for and has a lot of features that most Airbnb’s don’t have like a tankless hot water heater… etc… highly recommend this host and any of his spaces.

The place was better then expected! Beautiful home out in the country... out problems were phones went in and out when trying to find the house so write down direction.. its easy to find then.. also because im old and crazy we locked ourselfs out.. never lock the bottom lock ugh.. anyways adrin was the best! so nice to be out in the country and saw the strawberry moon!

Kristina was amazing at making sure me and my guests had what we needed. My guests received many great amenities and if we had known our furry friends could have come we would have brought them in a heartbeat 🤍 thank you so much for sharing your wonderful serenity with us!

I want to live in this cute little place forever, but alas. It’s such a lovely place, with a terrific view of the river. And it’s so thoughtfully laid out that you have every comfort you need in a small space. I just loved staying here and want to come back soon.

Christmas in the Cozy Cabin this year was terrific. Clean, convenient, and a host who provided exactly what we needed. This was our third visit... And we'll be back!

Dan's place was perfect for us. We didn't get to meet the rest of the family. We actually didn't spend a lot of time there and when we were there we were very tired. It was a family from all over the country weekend so we spent meals and daytime together just caching up. I do look forward to staying there again if the possible comes up.

This stay exceeded all my expectations! The location was perfectly secluded, offering the peace and privacy I was looking for. The space was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority. It was also very affordable, which made it an even better value. My host was incredibly responsive and proactive, checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly and offering helpful tips throughout the stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, clean, and well-managed place to unwind!

We fell in love the moment we stepped inside. Definitely not for the hotel with the pool set, but was exactly what we wanted - a rustic log cabin from the historic past. It is set in the woods and wrapped with vines giving it a storybook feel. Paths are mowed through the woods to allow unobstructed walks surrounded by towering hickory trees and thousands of flowers. We will be back. Maybe again this summer, but for sure next spring when the dogwood trees and flowers are in full bloom. Thank you Bill, for making your cabin available. We would like to meet you next time to learn more about the history of the property.

The Willow Creek Cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our family retreat was very successful. Jennifer responded quickly to questions. I recommend this rental for a comfortable stay.

We always enjoy staying there. good local restaurants. Close by we watched barges on the Mississippi and saw an eagle nest with young birds in it. Cabin was clean and attractive. Sat out on deck and cooked on site.
