Vacation rentals with a patio in Illinois River

we love the the place. our kids enjoy the place too. when we come back up . we would love to stay again here

Nataly is an amazing hostess- not only was her place in an adorable and enchanting historical neighborhood close to campus and restaurants, but her careful designs made the basement room look and feel fresh and contemporary. I did unplug the scent things and would have preferred fluffier pillows, but those are tiny negatives compared to the hundreds of positives about her place: location, cleanliness, size, price, carefully furnished and decorated, kitchen utensils, bathroom stuff available… etc. Nataly even reimbursed me a night because I had to leave suddenly — without my asking! She definitely went above and beyond. My son and dogs and I will be back soon to visit my niece! Thank you, Nataly!

Space was exactly as described. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Clean. Pet friendly was very important to us and we and our dog felt right at home! We will be back to Burlington often to visit family and hope to stay at Katrina’s again.

I absolutely cannot put into words how perfect Erin’s place is. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The space is beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. I came to town for work and did not want to leave. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the area during my downtime. If it is available for your dates, BOOK IT! Erin is amazing; she truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a great experience. Her communication is superb—prompt, clear, and friendly. She provided excellent local recommendations that made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Erin's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Super cute place! Everything was extremely clean and looked to be newly remodeled. Even though there are multiple units in the building, it was very quiet in the building in a quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful restored complex. Loved the character that was preserved. Quiet location. Walkable to many restaurants. Mondays are a bit more challenging as many local places are closed. We loved this place. Very clean.

My husband and I were just looking for a staycation spot not far from home when we came across “Wilson’s Place” I was absolutely shocked, the pictures do no justice. The place is stunning, clean and very private! I look forward to staying again soon! The kitchen and bathroom are amazing. The design of this apartment is like no other. Truly a one of a kind experience!

The unit was well supplied with everything we could have needed. It was very nice, just like the pictures on the website. Dan was very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay….easy check in. Had everything you would need for any activity. Great views. We stayed there while visiting family in the area. Will stay again. We fished from the beach. Although pretty windy my son did kayak some. The beach/sand toys and fishing rods came in handy as well. Plenty of chairs and places to sit for family when they stopped in.

We always love when getaway exceeds our expectations! This home was charming…from the furnishings to the outdoor patio space! Cozy and welcoming! The location was perfect- close to the shops, restaurants and pubs. We were in town for a wedding and able to stop back for a quick fresh up, it was that close to the venue!

Good location for our trip to Chicago. Took a different route than usual. Did a little birding and had a relaxing stay.

I enjoyed staying at Brandon’s place. This is my second time staying at this cozy home while visiting family in Decatur. He has everything one would need to cook a large meal. The entire space is very comfortable. Thanks for providing a place for me to stay while visiting in Decatur.

SO so nice! Everything was super clean and comfortable and Marissa was always quick to respond and very helpful+friendly. We loved our stay. My ONE single complaint is that the listing says that it’s near the lake/on the lake. It is nearby but you have to drive. You COULD walk but I think it would take about 20-30min on busy highway.

This was our favorite Airbnb! Luxurious , resort like place! The home was absolutely stunning with everything you might need and lots of thoughtful extras! We went for a long weekend getaway and loved it! Excellent and attentive host as well! Thank you for an amazing experience!

This place is beautiful and it has everything you need. It was immaculately clean. The patio at the river edge is beautiful and peaceful. It felt like home and we didn’t want to leave. Glennette was so helpful recommending a location for a special item we needed and it was perfect! Kevin and Glennette were very responsive with any needs or questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great stay at this peaceful property on Lisbon Road. The house was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The rural setting was quiet and relaxing, yet still close enough to town for convenience. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in easy and stress-free.
