Tiny house vacation rentals in Illinois River

Elaine's house is so great! My friends and I stayed two night for a girl's weekend. The house is comfy and spacious and in a peaceful neighborhood. Beds are cozy, the record player was fun to have. We played a few records as we had coffee in the morning. The coffee was plentiful in the kitchen. Elaine provided so many recommendations and great info about the area. Starved Rock is close by, and we went on a beautiful hike and had lunch there, and also enjoyed the town of Utica. We hit up a few really fun bars in Lasalle too, that were only about a mile from the house. Friday night karaoke at Club 55 AND The Sanctuary. Recommend checking both of them out.

We had a lovely stay. it's super cute, private, and quiet. we will definitely book again. there are 13 other cabins to chose from. We also enjoyed the town and near by venues. Cool place❣️

Was the perfect place for a short stay in Peoria, the location was nice and the whole scenery was beautiful.

We loved our stay in this charming cabin! It had everything we needed for a laid-back, cozy weekend away. Our kids loved the loft space and the slopped attic ceiling paired perfectly with our movie projector! We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space was lovely, well-kept and peaceful!

I believe I overpaid since U of I graduation was going on but the price was competitive for this popular weekend

Cozy home in a walkable area! I found it comfortable and an easy drive to local parks, like Starved Rock. My RAV4 pulled into the steep drive without issue and local trains weren't disturbing. Would return!

Got this place for a weekend away and it paid off. The location is quiet and out of the way and has everything you need. Amber was great at responding and the place was clean and inviting.

Every single thing was amazing. We booked a get away from life and this place meet all the standards. Once we got there it lived up to all the pics and more. We will be coming back and maybe make this a regular thing.

Absolutely beautiful cabins, peaceful scenery and perfect place to get away! Be prepared! Nothing nearby for miles! Beds a little u comfortable and a steep climb to get to if on the 2nd level which is difficult in the middle of night. Take box fan for noise if ur used to that also coffee! Great place though,could have stayed forever💕

Kristen was very helpful when we needed to check in early. The house was so beautiful and SPOTLESS. We loved the decor, and she thought of everything that could possibly be needed. My mom and I enjoyed the kayaks; we had never kayaked before, but they were right there and so easy to launch and use. It was a great adventure!

Our stay was perfect! Alisa was an accommodating host and easy to communicate with. Her place is exactly what is pictured and is as described. My kids loved her DVD collection and we had a great time playing games — we were indoors mostly since the weather wasn’t cooperating for fishing. We felt completely comfortable!

The perfect little getaway! The surroundings are beautiful. The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Rustic and clean with everything you need. The cabins have a great view of the lake.

It’s tough to get pictures to do this place justice, because even my own didn’t capture the beauty of the view from the cabin and the surrounding nature. There’s about 18 cabins that sit up on a hill and look over a large beautiful pond. Each cabin has its own private fire pit with wood included. This may be common sense, but make sure u have everything u even THINK u might need before arriving. The location is EXTREMELY remote and there’s no stores for miles. Uber Eats and Instacart will be out of the question. However, internet & WiFi were strong, and the cabin is stocked with essentials like cookware, lighters, utensils, etc. I went on a solo trip to get some private time away. I was the ONLY person onsite the first day but I felt safe. There was virtually zero noise pollution, only the sounds of gentle nature (such as birds, geese, etc; not anything like loud howling wolves). Overall the place was fantastic. Also, an easy drive from the cook county region.

I was glad to have found this place, it was the perfect little getaway. I didn’t expect it to be so far off a main road, but once you got there it was easy to find again. Smooth check in. Beautiful place and view. I didn’t need to contact the host for anything, we had everything we needed. Check out was way easier than any other Airbnb we’ve stayed in.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay! It is exactly how it is shown in the pictures. The location is private and quiet, and we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. We will hopefully stay here again in the future!
