Tarbet Lodge is set back from the road in very quiet and peaceful surroundings where you often see wildlife including deer, otter, eagles and many other species of birds and marine. There is a lot to offer on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and the Lodge is a great base from which you can explore the area. You can go walking, kayaking, wild swimming, cycling, fishing, or sightseeing. Ardnamurchan lighthouse is the most westerly point of the UK mainland and there are many secluded beaches to enjoy.

Long ago Islanders had Summer houses where people stayed during the holiday season to allow guests to stay in their main residence.
