In the pretty hamlet of Freefolk you will find a charming secluded Shepherds hut set in 12 acres, and includes a hot tub & pizza oven, WiFi, gas hob, king size bed, sofa, dining table, toilet, shower, fridge freezer, stove, solar electricity and fire pit - it has everything you need. It overlooks our horses, sheep & chickens. A short walk will take you to the award winning Watership Down Inn & Bombay Sapphire distillery. The surrounding area boasts beautiful walks. Slow down and switch off at hare Hideaway, a luxury stargazing shepherd hut on our family farm beside the Kennet & Avon Canal. Wake to birdsong and enjoy lazy morning coffee in your private garden before wandering the canal towpath or exploring independent cafes, shops and countryside pubs nearby. As evening falls, light the BBQ fire pit, pour a drink and watch the stars appear through the skylight above your bed. Dog friendly! (Starlink internet if you choose to stay connected to the world).

Hut in the Forest

A charming oak Shepherd's Hut, situated on a 2 acre small holding in the heart of the New Forest. We run a brewery (PIG BEER) with beer garden on site. We play ambient music from 12pm up until 8:30pm in the summer. Check out @pigbeerco for current opening hours. We have an excellent farm shop and vineyard next door, and a good pub (The Filly) within 2 minutes walk. Setley is based 2 minutes drive outside of Brockenhurst. We're 20 minutes from Highcliffe Beach, and 5 minutes from Lymington.

Features inside include a double bed, trap-door bath, toilet, and large ‘wagon wheel’ window with stunning views. Outdoors is the Wild Cherry Barn with chiminea fireplace and a saloon seating area with pizza oven and campfire with BBQ grill. The Wagon in the Woods is a bespoke, self-contained little place in the country with a private woodland, ideal for those wanting a tranquil and restful getaway.

This traditionally inspired, hand-made Shepherds Hut is nestled inside a paddock in the leafy county of Hampshire. It offers a tranquil retreat in a home away from home setting with a cosy open plan living space championed by the log burning stove. Enjoy cooking your own English Breakfast - of which eggs are graciously supplied by our chickens -amongst views and visits of our 17 strong Alpaca herd.
